Very entertaining collection of Victorian murder mysyeries
Captures the atmosphere and attitudes of Victorian London. Good stories with lots of twists and turns with a running theme of the romance between 2 of the main characters and the continued search for a missing plant explorer
These books are fantastic — well written and surprising, with unpredictable twists. The characters are also likable and realistic. A wonderful series n which to lose oneself.
The different mysteries were interesting in terms of their unfolding. Clues were all present, if you paid attention. Going to read the last set of three!
