You're hiding something, Rain, and I'm going to find it.
Archer's eyes narrow to green slits before he turns for the door.
I shrug nonchalantly at his retreating form.
I have nothing to hide.
Except a sudden chill reaches into my lungs, and in the darkest, foggiest corners of my soul, there's a new, niggling feeling that perhaps I do...
With a new name and a blank file, Rain's just been placed in the last foster home she'll ever need before she comes of age, and she intends to wait out her time peacefully under the radar.
But when the fog in her head shifts, the shadows begin to crawl with depraved enemies desperate to keep Rain's memories a secret.
...And the man she loves is keeping the biggest secret of all.
Trigger Credence is a dark romance with steamy sex scenes, and may contain triggers for some people.
This book had me encapsulated but also I didn’t love the plot and characters. Spark is a great writer, and her descriptions are amazing. But I couldn’t get over the fact that Archer is 20 and Rain is 15, and foster siblings…. Made it odd but I tried to forget, lol. GREAT story with twists!
