A Standalone Age-Gap Romance.

He’s sixty-two. She’s twenty-three. Is it just a love affair or could it be forever?

Landry had always imagined at the age of sixty-two that he would be rocking his grandchildren and enjoying a life of retirement.

Life has a funny way of disrupting your plans, and Landry just hired a twenty-three-year-old single mother as his assistant who seems to do just that… stand in the way of his plans.

He’s raised his three children to adulthood. He’s supposed to be settled down. However, he can’t seem to get Tennessee Bradley out of his head.

She consumes his every waking thought.

She’s too young for him.

Far too young.

Except, she’s everything he thought that he could never have in a partner. She’s soft, gentle, caring, and kind.

Is it just a fantasy, or could she be his future?

Age gap is a bit too much for me...but on a serious note, there's no way the guy on this cover is in his 60's 🤣🙄

Sooo this is a 3.5-4.
It’s actually more than an age gap for me in this story. I was very intrigued with the heroine’s role and how she took on being a mother after getting pregnant. What a survivor. Also the sex scenes were lacking. He’s too much a gentleman to call her dirty slut so there’s that. Next read please.

OK, ok, so this book started out a almost near 5 Star read but once I hit the 50% mark, IDK, I just felt like it was ALL about sex and as much as I love great sex scenes...they just had TOO many! The story dragged out a bit and again....the latter half for me, ehhhh.

All in all the writing was great, the storytelling for me.....was what did it in for me, too long, too much sex and as much as I FLOVE a great age gap....in reality lolololol it was too much of a gap. I just kept thinking at the end OMG...they were so PERFECT for each other that the huge amount of years between them just made me a bit sad thinking she would still have a lot of years "after" him. I know so stupid to think that but I couldn't help it.

So started off great and then sort of fizzled over the course of book.

Extreme May/December romance. The main characters are likable, but the whole ex-wife story was just ridiculous.

SURPRISING, SEDUCTIVE & SWEET!!
I ADORED this age gap romance!!
You know that whole..."Don't judge a book by it's cover!" bit?
Well...that is not the case here. I'm going to say "Don't judge this book by it's blurb!" Not even all of the blurb...just close your eyes when you read his age! Because if you are like me...you might think....OMG SIXTY TWO!!! GROSS...but dude!!! This 62 year old man is sexier, swoonier and handles his life better than some of the young 30 year olds I see running around!

One of my FAVORITE things about this entire book is that although there is drama, not a single bit of it comes from the heroine! The heroine in this story is one of the strongest and most determined to succeed in the face of trauma and controversy that I've ever read! Is the love that Tennessee feels between her and this much older man orthodox? No it is not! However she handles it with a level of maturity that most women my own age wouldn't be able to handle things!
Most age gaps that I read with younger women tend to be filled with a lot of whining and unnecessary drama but Hayley Faiman did an amazing job with this age gap! The character growth of both the hero and heroine was breathtaking too! I loathed his ex and I can't really go into why but I'm sure you'll understand the further you read.

I loved Hypocritically Yours and if you haven't given this one a chance I highly recommend it!
This was my first book by Hayley but I already have a couple more of hers on my tbr now and I can't wait for Landry's son's book!
If you LOVE age gap romances do NOT let their ages stop you from reading Landry & Tennessee's book!!

A sinopse é interessante, mas o romance acontece muito rápido e a idade não é tão problema assim. vira um dramalhao de ex-esposa onipotente e duas tramoias para não ver o casal junto.chantagens, sequestro e etc.... 🙄🙄🙄

OK I love Hayley Faiman her stories are always on my TBR and she has her own little folder in my kindle while also having a space on my bookshelf , Hypocritically Yours kinda made me pause but the author totally pulled it off . Like I normally do I clear my day to start reading Hayleys books because I always have a major hangover and of course I don't put my kindle down till I reach the very end , this story just took for a ride like nothing I've read before I mean I've read and fell for age gap books but none this major and the author did amazing . I believed the chemistry between the couple the electric pull that they share was just explosive . I can't wait to read more by one of my all time favorite authors and hope this isn't the last we see of these incredible characters .

I’m sorry but, this was just bad. It wasn’t even the massive age gap that put me off (H is in his 60’s and h is early 20’s) - some of the ex-wife drama was just so over the top and I genuinely struggled to connect with the characters and believe in their feelings for each other.

5 Stars!

Hayley Faiman is one of those authors that usually pushes me wayyyyy tf out of my comfort zone. While she writes the things I typically avoid in my romance books, there is just something about her writing that I can't get enough of and I keep coming back for more. Well she is out with a brand spanking new release and when I saw an "age gap that'll blow your mind" promised, I knew I had to grab up for this baby fast.

Let me tell you a little something, she did not disappoint for a single second. I didn't put this book down for even a moment once I started and only hours later when I came up for air did I get out of the trance I was sucked in. Hayley knocked this one out of the park and me on my ass. Not her typical style in ALLLLL the most addicting ways.

Landry and Tennessee were EVERYTHING in the very best ways and from the moment they met, I knew whatever was going to happen between them was going to be big. It was going to be epic. It was going to be consuming. Boy was I ever right... and then some.

Hypocritically Yours was a sexy, steamy, suspenseful, twisty, all in your feels from the very start romance that I could not get enough of. This beauty and these characters devoured me whole in the best ways. Packed with so many unforgettable- edge of your seat- page turning moments, loads of smoldering- explosive heat... I promise every page and every word is so worth it.

I'm really hoping the secondary characters in this book get their own story and that maybe, just maybe, we'll get glimpses of this magnetic couple.

Run don't walk to get this beauty.

I highly recommend this book.

This was a great read! MAJOR age gap that had me pausing at times but I will say Hayley pulls it off.

Landry is in his early 60s & single mum Tennessee is in her early 20s - yep he’s definitely older... I enjoyed their banter and the fact it was his second chance at love & he grabbed it with both hands. There’s an interesting secondary story happening with his ex and his adult children made for a richer story. I really enjoyed this one.

I received an arc of this book.

It was like a soap opera, those Mexican telenovelas full of dramas and impossible and unbelievable situations that don't have any sense but we still enjoy it.
I read the blurb so I knew what I'm getting into and I don't mind the age gap but here was a little unbelievable. The hero, Landry is 62 years,
The heroine, Tennessee (I really like her name) is 23 years old so yeah as you can already deduct, there is a 39 years age gap between them but in a weird way, you couldn't tell. She is a mother of a two-year-old and that kid is so cute and well behaved. What happened to her years ago just made me so angry but she was brave and managed to get her life back on track.
I liked her very much and I understand her attachment to Landry and I also understand his attachments to her.
He has 3 grown-up children who are even older than Tennessee and an ex-wife who is a real villain from telenovelas. So as it was expected she will do anything to torn apart our couple. The things she does are maybe a little too much and way too evil but then this is what a true villain does...
A lot of things happen in the pages of the book, but I enjoy every drama. I really liked it, it kept my attention and my interest the whole time even if some scenes were eye-rolling.
We have a HEA as was expected but I had this feeling that some characters were left hanging. I would like to know what happened to them and I really would like a book or maybe more about Landry's children. They were interesting but we don't really get to know them so much.

4.5 Stars Hayley Faiman and Her Men!

Boy oh boy, I have read a LOT of Hayley Faiman books and she's always got a leading man I hate to love and with Hypocritically Yours, I don't hate to love Landry, but he is a man that definitely had to grow on me. I was so glad this sixty-two year old didn't resemble my own father at sixty-two at all. Not even in the slightest and I think that is was kept this age gap romance from going super creepy for me.

Landry might be in the final laps of his life age-wise according to some, however in his mind he felt forty. He knows she's too young, but the heart wants what the heart wants and in my mind, a good guy like Landry has earned a nice girl like Tennessee. Sure she's younger than all three of his kids and comes with a two year old, there was something about her that hit him straight in the heart and it didn't let up.

Of course with thier lives, pasts and all that good stuff, the road to happiness is filled with nothing but potholes before this couple can even think about a happily ever after. Talk about major drama on both sides and I absolutely loved how Landry and Tennessee supported each other through it all.

The book is well written and full of drama, angst and lots of sexy. Landry wasn't lacking in that department at all. Hayley Faiman also did a nice job at keeping the age difference out of that danger zone. Along with Landry and Tennessee, we are introduced to a large supporting cast of family and friends to help move the story along. Hypocritically Yours reads as a stand alone with a little peek and how things are going.

This book is probably not for everyone but someone recommended it for me and I'm glad they did.
H is 40+ years older than h. She's a single mum in her early 20s and H is her boss in his early 60s. I thought it would have an ick factor about it but I didn't really think it did and I really enjoyed it.
There qlot of drama with Hs ex wife and the fact that h is younger than his own children.
But I loved how sweet and caring H was to h and her little boy and how 🔥 they were together.

There is mention of rape and briefly mentioned on page. Before reading maybe check for any other TW.

But I did really enjoy it

*KU Read

First thing I want to say is I am a HUGE Hayley fan, there are only a couple books of hers I have not read, so how I missed this series is beyond me. Hypocritically Yours is a large age gap story with a heartfelt story that tore at my strings.

Landry is an older man that has given up his life for his children and even stayed with a horrible wife for that reason. When he finally decides to walk away from her and start his own life he meets Tennessee a young women that needs to start her own life to support her son.

The second thing I am going to say is I hate cheating stories, I will not read them. This thank god is not that type of book. Landry has not been with his wife for years, and has only been married in name only due to his children. I would have hated to stop reading this book due to cheating.

Tennessee is starting her life and is hoping Landry will be in it for the long haul. But Landry's ex is not making anything easy for anyone. The question is, how much will you fight for the one you love?

Ok, ok, hear me out here. I know you're looking at that age gap all 😳😳😳
I looked at that age gap the same way, BUT Hayley Faiman is the queen of taking me out of my comfort zone and has never steered me wrong so I of course had to jump on this and read it and let me tell you...MIND EFFING BLOWN! Hayley not only does this age gap justice, she freaking does it beautifully.
Hypocritically Yours is is overflowing with more romance than you can even attempt to imagine. Topped off with moments of jaw dropping shock and a bit of nail biting suspense to really take this book from great to so fantastic you don't know what to do with yourself afterwards.

This was undoubtedly one the best book I have ever read. I didn't realize how much I would love an age-gap book.  Landry is in his 60's and Tennessee is in her twenties with a toddler. As soon as he called her sweetheart and Hayley told his story I was hooked. This book has everything in it. A player son, an angry daughter, and a vengeful wife. Plus steamy, scorching, sizzling sex. It's not just a love story, there is dilemma after dilemma to figure out.  I am going to re-read this book again and again. I hope that Hayley will write another book like this one. I loved the older good-looking man and beautiful younger woman and the fact she had a child.  This book was brilliantly written.

Wow....

Ok....

I love age gap romances. I really do. This one was no exception. I will say that I have never read a 40 year age gap romance before. I had some preconceived notions about it. Maybe I would simply be grossed out......Maybe it would feel forced/artificial.......Maybe it would play into daddy kink which I’m not always in the mood for. I could not believe how much I truly enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. Hayley Faiman certainly knows how to write a hot alpha hero no matter the age. I loved the chemistry between him and Tennessee. The sex scenes were scorching🔥🔥🔥 and little Holden offered so many cute scenes to the story. The family drama felt genuine and there was definitely enough angst and conflict to go around. That ex gave a lot of villains a run for their money😈

There was no real kink involved in this story.....just 2 people falling in love and wanting to be happy for as long as they can❤️

HEA✅

“You told me you wanted my divorce final before we started anything. I pursued you anyway. I pursued you, knowing that you’re forty years younger than me. Forty. I didn’t care. I still don’t care. You’re going to outlive me, by a lot, but I’m selfish as fuck. I’m not nice at all, Tennessee. I’m selfish. There’s a big difference.”

I loved this book! I’m a huge fan of age gap romances but even I thought that this gap might be a little much for me. After all, someone in their 20’s with someone in their 60’s seems like a huge leap, even just thinking about life expectancy. Hayley Faiman made it work. Their relationship was complex but that was mostly due to his family situation. The two of them knew their feelings for each other were true.

I’m not usually a fan of couples that get together in a book before the midway point. I prefer a bit of a slower burn. However, there was so much going on this book that it didn’t bother me. There were elements of mystery, suspense, and thriller that really kept it moving along and didn’t let it get stale after they got together. I highly recommend this book.

Wowza.... what an amazing story Faiman has gifted us readers with, slightly different, well when I say slightly what I actually mean is it’s more than slightly different from her MC/Mafia books amongst the others she’s previously wrote.

One young woman who’s been through the unimaginable sets out on a new journey with hopes of a better future for herself and her young son.

Whilst Tennessee’s just at start of her journey into parenthood Landry’s children are fully grown and have already flown the nest, this pair are at opposite ends of the scale but you know what they say... opposites attract and from the moment these two meet it’s clear there’s definitely an attraction between them, that attraction grows, blossoming into something way more than either of them had ever expected.

Hypocritically Yours is Tennessee and Landry’s story of finding love unexpectedly whilst surrounded by a cute toddler, three grownup children who aren’t exactly overwhelmed at the thought of of their father dating a much younger woman and a bitter, nasty soon to be ex-wife with a bit of a drink problem and more than a few skeletons in her closet which are in danger of spilling out causing more added stress to what’s an already stressful enough environment for the newly in love couple.

I hold my hands up 🙌🏼 I was a bit dubious going into this one as I wasn’t quite sure how I felt regarding the age difference between the main protagonists, Tennessee and Landry however Faiman’s way with words had me not only forgetting their age difference but realising that it is really only a number, love is love.

Some people are going to think that this age gap is too much but these characters were amazing and perfect for each other. The gap was big but honestly half the time there didn’t feel like there was a gap. I was hooked right from the start. For Landry’s age, that man was hot hot hot. He was so sweet and just knew that Tennessee was for him and I loved that. Tennessee was so
Strong and sweet. I loved being in her head and seeing how strong she was.

The plot, was a wild ride. It is ex drama and man did the author write a crazy woman. I never saw half the stuff coming and it was awesome. The banter with the characters was great and I loved the secondary characters. I kinda hope we get to see Landry’s kids get books. They were just great even when they weren’t sure about Tennessee. The author rocked with this book like all her others. 5 stars #2OCCJD
