I highly recommend this new book published by Christian Light Publications. The author writes candidly from her life’s experiences—and she has some worth sharing. She doesn’t shy away from sensitive topics and seems to cover just about everything in the line of marriage, motherhood and homemaking. She includes very practical information.

Dorcas Showalter does an excellent job sharing her own story and what she has learned in her life journey. She shares many good tidbits how to be a better wife, mom, and Godly woman. It is easy to read, very practical, and revelant to Christian women today. There were a few things I would see differently, but over all, I found it to be an encouraging, inspiring book.

Excellent book about marriage and motherhood. So challenging. Written with humility and honesty. I will keep coming back to it for things I highlighted and to refresh my memory.

Unhealthy. The ideas promoted in this book are disastrous and will likely end in the death of a post partum mom somewhere. Just because one person does something dangerous and seems to survive does not make her story a roadmap for godly wives everywhere. Caution is advised and godly discernment ought to be raised!

This book is written by a wife who is clearly married to a narcissist husband. There are truths woven with lies and this book could be harmful to a woman who is currently in an abusive situation. Do NOT recommend! It should never have been printed in the first place.
