Soraya is a modest and quiet young lady, not really interested in the party scene. She gets the opportunity to go to school and get a better job working in the county hospital. Loving her job and newfound freedom, Soraya is naïve to dating, especially the likes of Adonis, oldest of the infamous Mitchell family. Soraya didn’t take too kindly to Adonis. He was a player. She was familiar with his type.
Adonis is used to women swooning over him and, quite frankly, is bored by those women and their gold-digging tendencies. Putting the family name on the line with his partying lifestyle, Adonis wants to escape from under his mother’s thumb in time to gain his inheritance. Seeing his chance to get under his mother’s skin, he picks someone he knows won’t meet her standard of approval.
While his intentions for dating Soraya aren’t honorable from the start, Adonis finds that his feelings shift the more he gets to know her. Adonis’ heart opens, and he soon finds he can’t live without Soraya. His mother sees things differently. Will Adrienne’s uncivilized behavior cause Soraya so much angst that she walks away from Adonis for good, or will Soraya give Adonis a chance to prove he’s the right man for her?
From romance to psychological thrillers, to a good family gathering, I love to read it and talk about it so I definitely love to write about it. My characters tell me what they want you to know. I am only the chosen vessel speaking on their behalf. I hope you enjoy what you read and follow me on my social media platforms to find out what character has spoken and what they have to say.

My Speculation:
It was wonderful seeing Soraya and Adonis come together so well in "Suddenly." It may not have been a smooth ride, but Adonis was finally able to find someone that loved him and not just his money. I felt sorry somewhat for Adonis's mother, who thought she could control him, especially after what she had gone throw herself. But I guess some people have to learn the hard way. It was good seeing from Adonis's previous intentions for dating Sorayor weren't honorable at the start; however, will things changed after he got to know her? I will say the story was somewhat predictable, but still an enjoyable one. Would I recommend "Suddenly? " Yes, if you are in for a good romantic read.
Soraya was a very humble, hard working woman. She deserved to be loved and respected and I'm glad Adonis saw that and did right by her when he told her his initial reasoning for approaching her.
Adonis was a bit of a tortured soul. Trying to live up to the rules and bylaws of his family in order to inherit his trust wasn't what he wanted, yet he did want to get from up under his mom and dad's hold. His mom was a whole mess. Although I didn't like how or where Soroya confronted Adonis mom, I'm glad she spoke up, in a sense, for herself and demanded respect.
I loved the natural bond Soroya and Adonis had that didn't involve sex. They bonded on a mental and spiritual level and that's so sexy to me.
It took me a while to connect with the characters. The book started off two slow for me, but I admired the leading lady in the story. The book felt unfinished for me. It is independent and can be a stand alone.
