A sexy enemies-to-lovers roommate romance.
You met Austin Carmichael in Alphahole and he seemed like a great guy, right? He is. But when he gets pushed and has to deal with one thing after another, after another… apparently he can get a little testy. And like his brother Aiden, this means he can act like a bit of an alphahole, too.

Austin has to spend some time in New York and finds himself with a new roommate. The circumstances around their first meeting? Instant hate.
Though… with two hot, young, single people living in close proximity, things are bound to be interesting. Especially when Austin finds the stories she’s writing about him on her computer.
He’s completely unprepared for how interesting.

Jada: I’m a nice person. I’m a good girl, I swear. I just met Austin at the worst possible moment. My life has never sucked harder.
He’s got the complete wrong impression about who I am and everything I stand for.
I might be a good girl, but I’ve found a stubborn streak. And he’s been such a jerk to me that I’m determined to rock my job and be 100% professional. If only I could stop myself from writing down my fantasies about the growling, angry, sexy grouch.
And then one day, I come in and find Austin reading something on my laptop.
Best experienced after Alphahole.

My Review

I completely devoured this book it’s the second in the series and features Aiden’s brother Austin and Jada who was Aiden’s sort of housekeeper/girl Friday from the first book.
Genre-wise It’s a contemporary, roommates, enemies to lovers, employee romance.

Austin well he went and lulled me into a false sense of security he initially seemed so level headed and reasonable compared to his hot-headed brother.
Well, I had to throw all those preconceptions out of the window here because events certainly conspired that made him do a complete 360 and act like a total alphahole and completely out of his usual easy-going character.
But considering the circumstances, it’s not surprising his head was all over the place.

So after facing a total shitstorm at his brothers and Carlys wedding Austin’s feeling out of sorts and furious with a certain someone.
Add into the mix he has some prior history with a particular wedding guest it’s fair to say he’s not having the best time of it.
Then to top this all off he has to go and sort out the New York office and he bloody hates New York and what he arrives to well its literally the icing on the cake for him.

I think it’s fair to say that Jada’ first initial impression wasn’t good, her life is spinning out of control thanks to her brother and his many vices and issues and crashing at her former boss’s apartment after being evicted from her own was a complete last resort.
Austin couldn’t have arrived at the worst time and then he refuses to hear her out making a snap judgment based on his incorrect assumptions.

But with his family’s intervention, he reluctantly allows Jada to stay.
As long as she stays completely out of his way and meets his high standards.
But as these two butt heads almost constantly sparks between them are gradually ignited.

On the outside, Jada may seem shy and somewhat introverted shes somewhat of a people pleaser a good girl but with Austin, she finds that she can finally stand up for her own self something that is usually foreign to her, she usually avoids confrontations airing her grievances through pen and paper is her preferred outlet.
The discovery of these secret scribblings her Austin smut files allows Austin to peel back the layers and discover just what makes Jada tick he’s utterly intrigued and equally turned on Jada is definitely his type on the outside and with this added discovered incentive all bets are off.

So this was an angsty and emotional one and until Austin actually wakes up to all the possibilities Jada’s presence could actually bring him he was at times a total insensitive douche to her, but then he could also be just as sweet and endearing, he was exhausting there were times I wanted to just scream at him in frustration, his constant back and forth and blowing hot and cold on her so not on.
I understand he had a lot going on elsewhere but his attitude and unintentional thoughtlessness and dismissive attitude well I wanted Jada to totally stick it to him.

When he finally had an epiphany and Jada’s life starts to implode even more so than it already is he really did then step up to the mark and this was then the Austin that I knew and that was always buried under all the layers of anger and stress resurfaced.

He was so supportive and attentive becoming Jada’s rock and the lifeline she needed.
So much so she didn’t quite believe it was real at first.
But to be fair Austin totally came through for her and stepped up and better late than never.
Up till this point, I felt that Jada was paying the unfair price of all Austin’s past and negative experience with the fairer-sex so it’s only fair that she now got to experience Austin’s true nature the one he seemed to have buried deep rather than the pale imitation he’s been playing at these past few weeks.

So I really enjoyed this and there was also a lot of family stuff and difficult family dynamics that added such an extra layer.
Austin definitely had some stuff to overcome and not just what he was physically dealing with either, one of his biggest obstacles was taking a leap of faith as he had temporarily closed himself off emotionally, building a sky-high wall that took some serious demolishing on Jada’s part.
For a time she was basically collateral damage and Austin’s unintentional outlet for all his frustrations and all without knowing quite why this was, he was literally a closed book.

This had plenty of serious moments but it was also sprinkled through with such humour.
It was well written and easy to read, dual POV which is my favourite and Jada and Austin had plenty of natural chemistry together and even when Austin was behaving like a complete dick and he was so aware that he was and did feel guilty, I was still rooting for them to come through.

I also liked them both, yes even Austin in all his ass-holery glory, I certainly wanted to lamp him at times, yes, and to knock some sense into him but I still kind of felt for him at the same time underneath all that alphahole behaviour he really is a decent bloke he just lost himself there for a while.
Jada needing him and seeing her so low was the kick up the backside he needed to take stock.

And they may have taken the scenic route to get to there own personal HEA but they eventually did arrive at that final destination and what a ride that was this was truly fabulous.
This is a definitely one-click author for me and never fails to disappoint.
A big thumbs up I loved this one a whole lot.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Good Girl.

Where do I start with this review? Austin Carmichael!! Aiden’s brother!! Holy Hot Sauce...I mean hotness!! Austin and Jada definitely start out on the wrong foot and he acts like a true Alphahole!! Aiden and Carly just had an amazing, beautiful wedding and then something crazy happens to Austin. (No spoilers from me). Having just had a horrible experience, he has to fly to New York to help take care of some business for his dad. All he wants is a hot shower and a bed, but the Gods are working against him and he gets to Aiden’s New York condo in the midst of a crazy party.

Jada is having such a hard time with life in general. She has no job and no place to live. She still has the key to Aiden’s condo as she still works for him on and off when he has to be in New York. So, after trying to contact Carly and Aiden with no success, she moves in temporarily until she gets back on her feet. She is trying to take care of her brother Shane as well. He has mental health issues and is turning to drugs to numb his pain. She’s trying to get the party goers to leave and in walks Austin Carmichael. Let the fun begin.

This book is absolutely fantastic!! I truly laughed out loud on many occasions. I cried!! I was so angry I wanted to throw my Kindle. I had every emotion possible running through my veins as I was reading this book. The whole book was beautifully written and the ending....it was crazy amazing. DD always leaves me wanting more. Kudos to you on another amazing book. Bring on Ally & Jude!!!

I have no idea where to start because this book was everything! It made my day, my week, my month, and possibly even my year. This author has long been an auto buy author for me. Not one book that she has written has ever not made my top favorites. That's just how awesome she is. If you haven't read the first book in the series called Alphahole then what are you waiting for? You can read this one without it but you don't want to miss out on Hotsauce and Peaches.

In this book Austin Carmicheal is the main man. His brother Aiden (from Alphahole) and his father send him to NY to work in their NY office. While there he is to stay at Aiden's old pad. When he arrives, he gets the shock of his life.

The heroine is so far down on her luck you wouldn't believe it and she makes the worst first impression ever on her new boss. I loved Jada so much. She was so giving of herself to everyone else that she had nothing left for herself. There was not one thing you can find wrong with this heroine and I know because I am a heroine hater extraordinaire and I absolutely loved her.

You get to see all of the characters that we fell in love with in Alphahole such as Carly, Aiden, Adele, and some that we didn't like at all. This story is long but flowed seamlessly. I felt like I knew these people and would love to go to a bar and drink a beer with them. That's how good this book was.

I had so many feelings at the beginning of the book about characters that I thought I knew. Those feelings changed in huge ways once I got to the end of the story.

This book had laughs, tears, and at some points I was scared of how it was going to turn out. I loved every word and this book has a gorgeous, gorgeous cover. I am not one who normally goes fangirl over covers but once the series is finished, I want the whole set to display on my bookshelf because they are that pretty.

Read this book! Read the whole series! I am already feigning for the next set of characters. You will laugh, you will cry, but you will never find another book like this one.

Good Girl was the long awaited book in the Alphahole Saga and D. D. Prince delivered in spades.
I was all over the place with my emotions while thoroughly engrossed in this tale of misguided first impressions, characters revealing themselves at their worst, and finding redemption.
D. D. Prince has penned an emotionally riveting book that had me feeling like I was really witnessing this story for myself.
This book was very long but not long enough! I anxiously turned the pages to read more but was sad when I reached the end, I needed more!

**Swoon**
Austin. Carmichael.
**Double swoon**

Wingman of the year, Austin Carmichael, is not having the best time right now. Not only does he have to run interference at his brother's wedding, but he’s also had a couple of confrontations that he wished he didn't. To top it off, someone does something terrible that impacts his life and possibly his future, and the wedding resort, St. Kitts, quickly turns from a dream into a nightmare.
Needing to travel and work for his father and the family business in a city he hates, he's also in a minor car accident, gets stuck in the rain, and has his pretty shoes and pants legs vomited on.
Emotionally and physically tapped out, Austin Carmichael loses his usual manly decadent charm, and instead becomes an alphahole in a full rage when he finds his brother's apartment filled with people he doesn't know and who are drunk and high on drugs. To make matters worse, they are there, albeit indirectly, because of his brothers ex-employee, who he was told would be there to take care of the apartment and his hangry needs.

Jada is also down on her luck. Looking after herself and her brother who has mental health issues and who has turned to drugs to alleviate his symptoms with dire results, is down to her last few dollars. Then she gets evicted and finds herself homeless.
Having no one to turn to or help her and her brother out, she borrows the empty apartment of her ex-employer Aiden Carmichael, just for a few days until she gets herself back on her feet... or she plans to, unaware that Aiden's brother - sexy, mean, and angry, Austin Carmichael- is to be staying there for a few months for work.
Taking a sketchy work gig to get herself some cash and her brother his meds turns into one of the worst decisions of her life when she returns to the apartment to find a drug and booze induced party at full swing.
Cue Austin Carmichael arriving before she can shut down and deal with the party, and the trashed apartment, and it all goes from bad to worse for poor Jada.
Luckily for Jada, she has Aiden and Carly in her corner, who let her stay there even under Austin's vehement protests.

Good Girl is an enemies to lovers, happy ever after romance full of manly alpaholey-ness, spicy and dirty heat, with main characters that you'll get attached to and fall in love with. It's got heartfelt raw emotions, troubles, wrongdoings, delicious jealousy **swoon**, and so many feelings!! And it has it all wrapped up tightly in a plot that keeps you turning page after page until it's 6:30am in the morning!
I loved every part of this story!

I really tried not to post any spoilers!! I may have hinted at things but hopefully it's not to much.😬

I was so excited to start reading this book I remembered Austin from his brother book and was more social with him (like we really talked🙄😂) than Jada. I didn't know to much about her but the basic and Austin was such a cool and calm sweetie. But after reading his book I realized he can be a really big freaking Alphahole!! From the end of Adien and Carly's special day all the way to the very ending I was in a total state of turmoil with what Austin was going through and what happened to him. I felt that If I was in his situation i wouldn't have known what to do as well. I was mad for him because while everyone was on his side(mostly) I felt once the possibility of an unexpected..🤫 they really felt he should dropped the charges.🤦🏾‍♀️ Sometimes I was conflicted on the emotions that I was feeling on the situation. But, after everything was said I was totally team Austin and I wanted Sienna to pay. So I totally understand Austin mood swings for being an Alphahole he was definitely a sexy, possessive one. Jada was the absolute best person ever she was a caregiver and taker. She always took care of everyone from her father, brother to Aiden and Austin without thinking of herself first. She has a tough life and her brother mental illness only puts more added weight on her shoulders. With all the events that takes place in her life she couldn't help but hit the bottom and feel alone. Austin stop being an Alphahole long enough to see how much pain and struggle Jada really deals with and he becomes her shoulders when she needs it her lifeline and support system. I really enjoyed their journey they both gave each other comfort and time when dealing with life changing events. DD always know how to pull you in and activate all your senses and that's what she did I was happy, sad, mad and angry but I LOVE every minute of it. It was absolutely the best and I'm very anxious for Ally and Jude's story now.

I was lucky enough to get a chance to read this book early. The second of a series of three books. I would recommend reading Alphahole (first in the series) before reading this book as it introduces the characters of Austin and Jada. Austin is Aiden’s brother and Jada is Aiden’s housekeeper. The book begins with Aiden and Carly’s wedding which sets up one of the storylines in the book. This book brings in several characters from Alphahole, we meet Jada’s brother and several side characters. Austin and Jada get off on the wrong foot but the build up to them getting together is well written and entertaining. There are several intertwined storylines which add to the richness of the book as well as two or three teasers with Ally and Jude who are the stars of book three.
I’m not going to give any spoilers but this book will give you a great story with hot hot sex and some seriously funny bits. It made me laugh, cry and shout with fury and indignation at some of the behaviour. Austin was an Alphahole at times but it was totally understandable. I loved seeing Jada get her sass. The whole book has a feel good factor and the mental health of Jada’s brother is written in a believable and sensitive way. I enjoyed this book and I liked that it is quite a long book and a good meaty story. I highly recommend it and it’s a definite reread for me. Cannot wait for book three.

If first impressions are everything, Jada has a problem and it's a big one! Her future "boss" could not have stumbled upon a bigger cluster fu€k if the tv show Punked had planned it. How in the world is she suppose to convince Austin she is really a Good Girl when he walks into his brother's condo after being puked on to find a drug ridden party happening and Jada dressed like a hooker? The odds are definitely against her and this girl needs a break. You have your job cut out for you Jada!

Austin is the good brother, the less combustible, the fixer of problems until he SNAPS and snaps he does when he finds "squatters" in the place he is suppose to be staying for the next 3 months. He blows a gasket,
and goes all caveman on the "druggie hooker" before he throws out some threats and leaves. Help, how in the world can things go so wrong?

CARLY to the rescue. Yes Carly the lovable girl from Alphahole does her magic and "voila" everything is better. HA, not hardly, but she does give Jada the spare room to live in and convinces Austin to give her a chance as his "girl Friday". This should be fun......

They say a GOOD GIRL is really just a bad girl who has never been caught, but Austin catches Jada when he stumbles across her "Austin Smut File" writing and starts to make her fantasies come true. Boy does he ever make those fantasies come to life. Oh the burn....

I loved this book and like all the books by this author you just get more! Yes this is a semi enemies to lovers story, but you also have angst within both family dynamics. Good Girl is not a fluffy book. There are real problems to be handled and lots of raw emotion. I laughed, got furious at some of these characters, cried and my heart did a flip with this love story. I want an Austin in my life. I highly recommend this 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read.

There is so much I want to say about this book, but if I were to do that, I'd end up giving away too many spoilers, and I hate spoilers.

Therefore, I'm going to say THANK YOU DD for another fantastic Alphahole character. You made me laugh, cry, happy, sad and downright murderous! That means it was fantastic, right!

Loaded onto my kindle and thought I will start it last night and get some sleep and then finish today. That did not happen. This journey pulled me in and read the whole book. Austin and Jada wouldn't let go until I got the end. Holy crap what a ride. I had all the feels right there with them both as they went. The ups the downs, the tears and the laughter. DeeDee has done it again and pulled you in and made you watch. Bravo! Now book hangover and need a nice glass of something strong af!!!

Great followup to Alpha-hole. If you want a light hearted fluffy contemporary, this actually isn’t it. There are amusing parts, and it is hot as hell but it is also deep and emotional dealing with the heavy subjects of mental illness and date rape. Both subjects were handled beautifully I must say. Add in lots of Aiden and Carly from book one and it’s a great read. 5 stars!

Buckle up and get ready for nonstop reading for the weekend. 5 perfect, spicy sexy stars - I loved Austin - he’s a grumbly bear hero with a heart of gold who gets put through the ringer. Seriously, the poor man goes through so much agonizing psychological damage, I wanted to hug him, okay, and squeeze his bum. He meets Jada at a particularly low point. Jada, also, is having a no-good, terrible very bad day/life moment when they meet - and then the sparks fly. I loved their interactions - I was on the edge of my seat for it all. It’s laugh out loud funny and so deliciously entertaining. I love the background descriptions and the story flows effortlessly. Jada and Austin are perfect for each other and Austin is swoon-worthy.

I’m never ever disappointed by something written by DD Prince. In my opinion she can write any sub genre of romance and knock it out of the park every time.

I loved good girl! It was such a good mix of emotion, humour, steam and aggravation. Austin is Alpha to the Max. Panty melting and stubborn as the day is long. Jada is sweet and funny. A true good girl! I love the characters, as in everything DD writes, I get so attached to the main couple of the book.

Excellent read. Can’t recommend enough!

I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.

To experience this story fully, I do think it’s better if you read ‘Alphahole’ first. That way you will understand some emotions, problems and frustrations better. But if you don’t want to do that, I think you can read this book as a standalone too, because you get enough information about the past to follow the story and the main characters meet in this story for the first time so that is no problem too.

Austin has had the worst few days of his life, so now he just wants some quiet time and to be left alone. The last thing that he wants or expects to find in the apartment, that will be his new home for the next three months, are a bunch of strangers having a party there!! He just explodes and his mood doesn’t improve when he is forced to share the apartment with the help Jada. The stress at work, the consequences of an event with his brother’s ex Sienna and his distrust of Jada makes that his bad mood doesn’t improve quickly. But then his dark mood change into a sexual one when he reads a secret story on Jada’s computer that he shouldn’t have. That leads to sexy games with Jada but sadly, the timing couldn’t be worse so Austin tries to do the right thing by keeping his distance from Jada again but he does this in a very wrong way. But Austin isn’t the only one whose life is falling in pieces around him. Jada is getting bad news after bad news too. Soon Austin will have to decide if he wants to let Jada really go or if he will fight for her and show her his good and vulnerable side too.

In ‘Alphahole’ we got Aiden’s story and now in ‘Good girl’ we get the story of his younger brother Austin. We met Austin in the previous book and there he gave the impression of being a good, nice guy. Someone who was intelligent, strong and a very supportive brother. So I was very curious how the writer would turn this good guy into an alphahole?? But the writer did a very good job of that. Because like every human, Austin has a limit and after a few stressful events, this nice guy has reached his breaking point and he becomes an alphahole! And he really was one at times!! His story was a rollercoaster of emotions, one moment I felt sorry for him and what was happening to him and other moments I was mad at him for the way that he treated Jada but being a good guy deep down, he always managed to redeem himself on time. For me personally, the writer really balanced his alphahole really good, it was sometimes with a thin line but still that made it just emotional and also very human. It did take him some time to be the man that he needed to be for Jada (which gave this story a bit of a slowburn feeling I though) but once he decided to be her man, he got as protective and dominant as every other alpha man that we know and love.

We also met Jada briefly in the previous story. Too short to make a real impression but still enough to think of her as a good girl and she really was one. I think of all her female main characters that the writer DD Prince has writing Jada is her sweetest character yet. Jada was a bit shy, sweet, kindhearted and even a bit naïve. She did show a bit of sass when arguing with Austin but deep-down she’s a very good (submissive sort of) girl and the fact that that was one of Austin’s weaknesses made this whole living together situation very interesting. Especially when he discovered that sweet Jade wrote and fantasized about doing naughty and very erotic things with him! Because Austin loved nothing more than to play dirty, little sex games with good girls too. But still their first impression was so bad that it took some time to get to the dirty, little games. However, there was also a lot more happening than just sex games, just like in real life the main characters had a lot to handle. Every time I thought we had seen the worst, the writer gave us more but in the end everything was well resolved.

The story was told from both POV’s and I was very glad about that, because of everything that was happening, it was really good and necessary to know the thoughts of both characters. In this story Aiden & Carly, Adele & Dirk, their children Braeden & Lilly were very important secondary characters and they gave this story that something more. It was lovely to see them again. The story was long but I love a book with many pages, especially if the writer knows how to do it good and this writer really knows how to write long stories!! The story was writing very fluently.

DD Prince wrote again a great story. I’m already looking forward to the next story in this series.

It's a good story.
Follows close on the heels of the previous book about the Hero's brother.
The book starts at the Hero's brother wedding.
It took a little while for the pair to meet this is because the Hero suffers a rape prior to meeting the heroine.
The scene is not descriptive, he is drugged and barely remembers anything.
He meets the heroine shortly after, is dealing with the repercussions of the rape and this leads to their conflict.
The heroine is also have a bad time so she also behaves out of character
Other woman drama in the form of the brother's ex, who is the issue of the drugging and date rape.
Other man drama, the security guard to the building expresses interest but the heroine sees him as a friend.
At the start as well we also have an ex who the reader heard about in book 1.

There is pushing away, blowing hot and cold.
There is a lot of sex scenes, role play.
I did feel the heroine needed to get a bit more backbone, she does eventually but it's about 80%ish.

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine but the Hero recalls small details of the earlier rape and mentions the ONS with the ex.
The heroine hasn't been with anyone for 3 years, her boyfriend was killed in a car crash.
The Hero has at times had a man-whore reputation.
He likes the good girls, less experienced the better.

HEA.
Epilogue.

Breadcrumbs dropped for next book.

This book raises an interesting issue of male rape.
The affect on his reputation.
The difference in size of the other woman to the Hero, if people would believe him or not.

The reason I didn't give it 4 stars is I found it a bit rambling, inner dialogue.

Also I'm not keen on it when the Hero and heroine don't meet early in the story and although I can see that the ex ONS may have affected his desire to believe the heroine as a genuine person i felt the Hero seeing the ex at the wedding at the start was a bit of a distraction from the Hero and heroine.
I don't know I wondered at first if I had the heroine as the wrong person, not that he restarts anything with her but at first I felt he may have still had feelings for her.
It may have worked better for me if he saw her after meeting the heroine.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Austin Carmichael has a huge chip on his shoulder, he is dealing with family drama thanks to his Mother, he has to head to New York to deal with some problems with work and the girl he was interested in ghosted him. Now in New York Austin is in a piss poor mood only to walk into the apartment he is using to find it trashed and a party going on.

Jada knows she is in deep trouble, she is barely making it and has been dealing with her brother who has is spiraling out of control. When she meets Austin he wants her fired for what is going on, however she had no idea this was going on. Jada reaches out to his brother Aiden and his new wife to explain what happened and now Austin has to share the apartment with Jada and he is waiting for her to screw up. What he doesn't realize is that Jada is a down to earth girl who could quickly work her way into his heart if he would let himself trust again.

I had anxiously been waiting for this book after reading Alphahole I loved every minute of this one, Austin was a jerk through and through to Jada, but when he realizes she is not his enemy he begins to enjoy his time with her. However someone is out to spoil his new found relationship with Jada and Austin is juggling what he needs to do. Don't want to divulge too much of this plot as it was completely unexpected. Another fantastic read by this author.

Wow what a book - I laughed, got choked up, sentimental, and super angry. Austin became quite the jerk and alphahole. In fact he was worse than Aidan, which surprised me a whole lot. Jada, despite moments of being sassy, bordered a little on being too much of a doormat/goodie good girl for my tastes. The humor and true emotion in the story tipped it back in the best direction, but I still think that Jada should have made Austin grovel more than he did. All of the drama was delicious, and what Jada went through when it comes to mental illness was heartbreaking. I am eagerly awaiting the release of Bad Girl!

Austin Carmichael is sent to NY by his father to deal with issues at the company office there. He is going to stay at his brother, Aiden's, apartment, but when he arrives, he finds mayhem, a drug-fuelled party and a young woman who looks suspiciously like a stripper or prostitute.
Jada has moved into Aiden's apartment with her brother after being evicted. She's tried to get retrospective permission, and has tried to be respectful, but her brother hosts a party and Aiden's brother arrives when it is in full swing.
This second 'alphahole roommates' story starts badly for both characters, as tension is high and dislike higher. Jada is a sweetheart, and the reader really feels for her problems when the normally kind Austin in being anything but sympathetic. He has issues which go beyond the ones he is handling at the office.
Another brilliant and sexy story.

Can’t get over the toast 😂

I am sooo glad this book was as long as it is, even though I still read it in less than 5 hours. Finally something to sink my teeth into!

I loved the main and supporting characters...they were just awesome. I didn’t start with book 1, but I’m definitely going back to read it. I wouldn’t say it’s completely necessary to read it, but a few things would have made more sense to me if I’d read it first.

Kudos to the author for highlighting the fact that men are susceptible to being raped, too. It was interesting to see the aftereffects of it from a male’s perspective.

Jada and Austin sizzle and steam clean so hard their chemistry is undeniable. Both are facing some very dark moments but between the battles and barbs they can’t help but orbit each other in a push and pull that is both maddening and hot as hell. I loved this book in the series for all of the feels and thrills it provided. We got see see into the inner workings of each character and some favorite characters from the previous Alphahole book made an appearance here and enriched the story even more.

After reading book one, I had high expectations for this book. Had it carved out in my brain how this was going to go, but Prince blew it out of the water! I was devouring each page, like totally hooked! I was very annoyed when life got in the way and I had to put it down. Sex, sin, mayhem and mystery created this awesomeness of a story and now I’ve got even higher expectations for book 3.

I liked aspects of this book. It had a nice angsty setup, but it fizzled quickly. Jada was okay but needed a backbone.

What I despised was how the secondary characters were guilting Austin into letting Sienna off the hook. This made me so mad I lost respect for the lot of them.

I absolutely love Austin and Jada. Their initial meeting is beyond disastrous. My heart went out to Jada because Austin had his head up his a$$ for most of the book. Jada stood up for herself. She wasn’t going to let him bully her.

Book 2 in the Alphahole series has definitely got a lot more angst, but it's certainly worth it.

Austin Carmichael, Aiden's younger brother is sent to New York to take care of the family business. But after a difficult time personally, he's not happy to be there. And he's less happy when he finds the family apartment he's staying in filled with drunken strangers throwing a party (and throwing up on him!). Thus the nicest Carmichael brother's inner alphahole is unleashed.

Jada Miller is a good girl who's currently down on her luck. She's lost her job, she's lost her home and she's trying to look after her ill brother who has become addicted to drugs. Out of options, she stays at her former boss, Aiden Carmichael's apartment. But when his brother arrives and loses his temper with her, he unleashes a side of Jada she didn't know she had.

Suddenly having a roommate he didn't expect, Austin tries to avoid Jada. But when he discovers a sexy side to her in her writing, he can't resist acting out her inner fantasies.

The Austin Smut File certainly brought much needed levity here after so much heaviness to Austin's personal story. My heart really broke for him, and the double standards towards what he suffered really hurt my heart.

But Good Girl was a fantastic book, I absolutely loved it. Jada is a brilliant leading lady, Austin is amazing, and I love them together.

An awesome and steamy enemies-to-lovers read! Absolutely loved Jada and Austin and their fantastic roller coaster of emotions story! I'm usually not a fan of characters who are also writers or avid readers as it usually takes me out of the story but this one actually drew me in more. Also, not a lot of stories are able to keep the story as interesting after the romantic peak for me, but DD is always able to keep the adventure going and make me want to read even more. I so cannot wait for Jude and Ally's story!

This one was a bit of a roller coaster for me. I don’t typically seek out super emotional romances and this is definitely one. Honestly, had I been mentally prepared for it I would probably give this one 5 stars. I may come back to it someday when I’m in the mood for something like this.

With romance novels angst is a part of the package. I’m not a big fan of angsty books, there are certain types of angst I enjoy and the other kinds I will seek out if I’m in the mood. This was interesting. It was angsty in a way that I enjoyed but usually don’t. I’m not sure sorcery D. D. Prince uses to make me like things in her books that I don’t like in others.

There is heavy emotional stuff in the book too. Both Jada and Austin are going through a lot of really heavy stressful things. Part of the reason I don’t go for super emotional angsty books is I always find myself internalizing their pain, especially the h. I did find myself shedding tears for and with Jada numerous times in this book. I wouldn’t consider it a tearjerker but it definitely made me cry a little.

I really liked Austin and Jada together. I liked their banter and chemistry. This one definitely isn’t a slow burn like alphahole and I appreciate that even though I think she maybe should have made him work harder for it at times in the end he redeemed himself so well. I’m hard to impress when it comes to groveling and redemption so that was extremely satisfying. I can’t wait for Ally & Jude’s story.

I was so excited to read this book and once again DD Prince did not disappoint. Before I even get to Austin and Jada, I loved how this book flowed from Aidan and Carly's book. One of the reason I love reading series is being able to revisit with characters I feel in love with in prior books. This book was great at keeping me in the loop with all the Carmichaels!

Now on to Austin and Jada! Austin made me angry, sad, happy and hot! lol Even the times he was acting like a big alphahole, jerk I wanted to comfort him! Jada is a strong and sweet woman who finds a way to handle all the things that life has thrown at her including Austin. I even shed a few tears at during parts of the book. Eventually together they are able to get through the trials they are both going through and find their love for each other.

It was another great addition to the alphahole series!
