अपना पहला उपन्यास लिखने के लिए, शांति और एकांत की तलाश में रिचा एक छोटे से शहर मे रहने आ जाती है। लेकिन जैसे ही वह अपना उपन्यास लिखना शुरु करती है, रिचा के साथ अजीबोगरीब घटनाएं होने लगती हैं। कभी तो उसके उपन्यास के पात्रों के नाम खुद-ब-खुद बदल जाते हैं, तो कभी पूरी की पूरी कहानी ही बदल जाती है। रिचा समझ जाती है कि उसके आस-पास कहीं कोई अदृश्य शक्ति है, जो उसे अपनी आपबीती सुना रही है। अब रिचा यह जानना चाहती है यह किसके जीवन की सच्ची कहानी है? और वह अदृश्य शक्ति, रिचा से क्या चाहती है ? रिचा सच की तलाश में निकल पड़ती है। लेकिन, तभी उसे आता है एक धमकी भरा फोन कॉल। और उसकी इस तहकीकात को रोक देने के लिए उस पर दबाव डाला जाता है। रिचा को एहसास हो जाता है कि कोई शातिर मुजरिम, कहीं छुपा बैठा बुन रहा है उसके इर्द गिर्द, साजिश का एक खतरनाक जाल।

पुस्तक का परिचय: ये उपन्यास एक हत्या संबंधित रोमांचक कहानी पर आधारित है जिसमें कुछ ऐसी अलौकिक घटनाएँ घटती है जो कहानी का पूरी तस्वीर बदल के रख देता है।
समीक्षा:
🌼 ऋचा जो एक पढ़ीलिखी संस्कारी लड़की है वो अपनी उपन्यास लिखने के लिए दिल्ली की भीड़ भाड़ को छोड़ के बिलासपुरा आती है। जब वो कहानी लिखने की शुरुवात करती है तब वो कुछ अलौकिक घटनाओं की सामना करती है। एक छोटा सा लड़का जिसका कुछ साल पहले ही मृत्यु हो गया था, वो बार बार कहानी लिखते वक्त ऋचा के सामने आ जाता है, जिसे ऋचा को बाद में पता चलता है कि उसकी मौत एक दुर्घटना नहीं वल्कि एक सोची समझी हत्याकांड थी। जिसकी हत्या को एक दुर्घटना के रूप में दे दिया गया था। वो लड़का चाहता था की उसके हत्यारे को सजा मिले और उसकी रूह को मुक्ति प्राप्त हो। इस हत्याकांड को पर्दाफाश करने में ऋचा की बॉयफ्रेंड कार्तिक उसका साथ देता है। इस घटना को सुलझाने में उन दोनों को बहुत सारे खतरों की सामना भी करना पड़ता है।

🌼 लेखक ने कहानी के शुरूवात से ले कर अंत तक पठोकों को बांध के रखा हैं जो की अतीव सराहनीय प्रयास है।
🌼 मुझे कहानी की हर एक किरदार अच्छी लगी। ये एक बहुत ही अच्छी कहानी है जिसमें अपको बहुत सारे रहस्य देखने को मिलेंगे। मुझे ये कहानी बहुत ही अच्छी लगी। आशा करती हूं मुझे लेखक के कलम से ऐसे ही कुछ रोचक कहानियाँ और पढ़ने को मिले।

BOOK REVIEW : JAAL

This is a paranormal thriller where our main protagonist Richa after winning a writing competition signs a 3 novel deal with a publishing house.
She then moves to a small town named Bilaspur in need for peace and quite to write her very first novel.
But on the very first day she meets across a young boy who comes to her house and disappeares as fast as he appeared leaving richa thinking about who he was.
Only on a visit to a nearby school that she sees the picture of the boy on a board where the dead are commemorated.

The story actually starts with Richa's resolute to find why did the boy visit her, what did he want from her, where are his parents and what happened to him?
What i loved?
❣The story is hardly ever scary.
❣It is funny with easy to follow language and few moments where i couldn't stop smiling.
❣The characters main and support have their identity and thoughts in place.
❣The story progresses at a pace where the thoughts of all the characters are easy to follow and never really becoming tedious.
❣A light, one time fast paced read not exactly a page turner but soemthing you wanna keep reading just cause of it easy readability and the main story is well connected with the sub plots.
The story irrespective of being a paranormal thriller hardly had any elements to keep you on an edge.
I am not someone who reads allot of mystery or thrillers but i could still predict almost all the twist and turns except for one.

The book, Jaal by S. Anand is primarily targeted for Hindi audience. The story is really an engaging one and will keep you hooked to the last. I loved the mystery of the book and was not even able to put down the book. I will highly recommend the book for Indian readers. Read full review on my blog bibliophileverse.blogspot.com
