The Rabbit Readers Program teaches young children to read. This is the introductory book in the early readers series, perfect for a First Reader for Kindy and Preschool aged children.
The stories include: At the Zoo, I Can Count (Numbers to 10), Rocket Count Down, How Do You Feel and I Like. These contain simple words that are supported by pictures to give young children who are learning to read the confidence they need to predict words and to read by themselves.
For more advanced early readers Level 1, look at the Rabbit Readers Set 1 and Set 2 books. There is also a Sight Word book and ABC phonics sounds books in the series.
Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through. My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers. We hope you enjoy our books as much as we love writing them for you!!!
This book is great for the beginning reader. My five year old son and I read through this book several times the first evening. I like the fact that the words are with the pictures so the children can easily make a association with them. My son gives this book two thumbs up!
A delightfully simple book for very young children.
I loved the cute, colourful illustrations. The text was clear and simple. This is not a storybook but rather an early reader. This little book offered a pleasing variety of topics; including counting one to ten and counting backwards, alphabet, names of animals and identifying facial expressions.
A couple comments/observations- the pictures showing counting start with the thumb and not the pointer finger (US) and some of the animals in the zoo are not common in the US.
This book was so helpful. She read. through it without much trouble, and also found it was amusing and she even laughed out loud a couple of times. Thank you!
My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.
This is fine, but the format is so hard with little readers. "Point to the word" swaps the page whi h frustrates everyone. "Stories" are very basic, but the vocabulary isn't all sight words or phonics, so it really comes down to the poorly done pics and sounding it out. Also think the font should have been bigger for Kindle.
This book was absolutely first rate. It is simple and easy to follow. It has little stories that you can read to your child or with your child with beautiful and fun illustrations. Your little one's are going to love this book.
This book is excellent for learning words because there is an illustrations to go with each word. Kindergarten and grade 1 is the age group I would use it with.
I read this book with my 5 year old grandson. He enjoyed it. Not realty reading yet. Can pick out words that he knows. I would recommend this book to help your child recognize numbers, animals.
Helped my son build confidence in reading! I love how each book did reviews of the words learned. My only issues was some of the pictures were weird and inconsistent also the way some of the words written didn’t flow well.
My Grandson is in kindergarten and has all the books they send home memorized. Some of the pictures in the 4th book could be better but overall very helpful.
