Trinity Gambit

Hound of Hades #7

by Zoe Cannon

Hades’s assassins are closing in, and Mal has only one place left to run: home.

In her previous life, Mal was the dutiful daughter of a prominent United States Senator, and her family is still living and working just outside the city. It’s a risky move, but she knows the Marked of the gods won’t dare follow her into the public eye. For the last ten years, the world has believed Mal dead. It’s time to show them how wrong they are.

But she hasn’t taken into account how far her family will go to avoid losing her a second time. Or her knack for finding divine trouble wherever she goes. Or that the long-forgotten ghost of her former self still lurks inside her, desperate to get her old life back… at any cost.

About the author

** I no longer use Goodreads to track my reading. My subjective rating and review standards aren’t likely to be useful to other readers--how would it help anyone else to see that I rated a book 5 stars because I read it at the exact right time in my life, or 2 stars because it used a popular trope I dislike?--and I’m not comfortable with the idea of readers and even authors taking them as objective measurements, or worse, constructive criticism. I now track my reading privately, but send out monthly book recommendations through my mailing list at https://www.zoecannon.com/newsletter. My old ratings and reviews are still here, but don’t take them as anything other than personal reactions. I may not see messages and friend requests. **

Zoe Cannon may or may not be a supervillain out to conquer the world through writing. When not writing, she can be found perfecting her schemes for world domination, plotting against her archenemies, and staying up too late reading a book. Her secret lair is rumored to be located somewhere in southern New Hampshire.

Trinity Gambit is by far the best book in the series to date! I love this series the world building is unique and vivid. The character dynamics are incredibly well developed and the interactions never cease to amaze me.

Mal is an incredibly fantastic flawed and yet endearing MC. She never fails to take the big risks for those she loves and the twists and turns in this book left me amazed!

I never saw any of this coming and I am already dying for the next installment.... And well I want more Bastian. I am incredibly intrigued by how deeply complicated Bastian and Mal's relationship is. Fantastic writing!

Despite everything all the feelings remain and I am truly rooting for Mal and Bastian to find a way to be a couple again.

And Alex wow you just have to read it!! What a fantastic twist.

For anyone wanting a fresh well developed world with excellent characters and plots that are original and keep you guessing. This series is for you!

I highly recommend this series! Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
