The first four stories were absolutely awesome with "Mother" being my absolute favorite. What a twisted and macabre imagination. Hats off. The last three stories were well written too but a bit overlong and didn't hit the nerve and feeling of the first tales. Gosh, what a title, superb cover and excellent fist four stories. I wish the author had continued the way he started this story collection. Full five stars for the first four but the later stories couldn't catch up with that brilliance. So I give it 3. Nevertheless really recommended. If you want to meet eerie restless dead this is your book!
