At the end of In Walked Sin, we were given a taste of Dakota’s story and I was super anxious to see what Stoni would give us. She delivered alright. Another tense mystery that comes together smoothly at the end and has so many twists it’s almost easy to forget it’s not real, but a story in someone’s mind.
Dakota is one of those guys that just seems to have bad luck all around and decides he’s going to make some of his own. He does this after he loses his wife in an abduction and is left with is baby daughter. He takes on a little vigilante team to find the “killer” and in the process eliminates a lot of true killers. He gets a lot of help from friends we’ve met in other stories and a covert government organization. As the years go by and he doesn’t get any closer to his wife’s killer, the killers he ends begin to slowly eat at his soul until he thinks he’s lost it. Lucky for him, the FBI thinks he might have info they need or might be the vigilante ridding the world of bad men and sends an agent to find out more.
Providence on the other hand is a lady who knows what she wants and it’s someone she can share her whole life with. As an FBI agent, she is constantly living two lives and no one knows both sides. This makes for a very lonely woman who is dedicated to her work and her family. When she discovers Dakota is protecting his little girl and may be the vigilante, she decides to team up with him when he and his daughter are threatened. She soon falls for Dakota and realizes she is in over her head and is falling hard. Dakota, doesn’t really realize he’s falling until he’s hit rock bottom and can’t live without Providence.
These two isolationists realize that life is better when someone is let all the way in and can see both sides of you. They understand one another like no one else would be able to and are a perfect fit. They live similar lives and know what true loneliness is. Of course, there is way more to the story than what I wrote but you’ll have to read it for yourself to understand how much is at stake for both of these characters. Not just life and death–but their souls.
Stoni also gives us a great tension filled mystery that winds down at the end when the real killer of Dakota’s wife is found. It will surprise you and you’ll be in awe of her talent. She tells a great story without any feeling of being cheated with a sloppy to quick ending. She gives us the whole picture and leaves us with a pleasant smile at the book’s end. Prepare to be wow’ed. I’m giving this 4.5 of 5.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "DAKOTA LUCK" Stoni Alexander you out did yourself writing this absolutely amazing, addicting, intense storyline, with suspense, intrigue, danger, murder, hot steamy scenes, twists you never saw coming you couldn't put down til finished.
Dakota Luck you love him right away he's arrogant, hot as sin, weathy realtor, single father to most adorable 4yr old Sammy, after losing his wife to an abduction never to be found he and friends are vigilantes to find her killer he use to work for a private secret Gov't organization.
Providence is an undercover FBI Agent working for her cousin Stryker Truman who owns a Kink Club with BF Dakota she trying to find out info from him about vigilante killing or if he's the vigilante killer himself.
Dakota & Providence journey to get to the truth of things and their chemistry is explosive they can't keep their hands off one another she's sassy, smart, gorgeous and loves his little girl Sammy which warms his heart.
I cefinitely recommend to get this excellently written book that hooks you from beginning to end with surprises along the way and a shocking ending you didn't see coming I so can't wait for the next book "STRYKER TRUMAN'S STORY"

I’ve not read the other books, I haven’t even gone and looked at the other books.
Once I’ve read the book, I’m going to go and find out the other books (although I have a feeling most of the men in this book are single)
Dakota needs revenge, in fact he lives for only two things in his life now, revenge for the death of his beloved wife and caring for his daughter. Nothing else, no one else exists as far as he’s concerned.
By day he owns and works as a real estate/broker, but by night he stalls the streets looking for his wife’s murderer.
Providence is a great character, she’s good at her job, but she longs to have someone to talk to. She can’t tell family and friends she she really does! And being in character for so long is draining!
The sparks fly between Dakota and Providence from the first moment they lay eyes on one another. But Dakota thinks she belongs to one of his friends, and he’d never poach a girlfriend, but he can’t get her out of his head. And Providence is on the jo, if she can prove Dakota and his friends are the vigilantes that are killing people, then she’s going to have to take them down. No one should be above the law.
We watch as they fight their attraction for one another. They admire one another, but they can only fight if for so long! And when they give in ......
Loved the chapter titles, most made me chuckle. Sammy/Samantha just stole my heart away. Such a cute character. And such a daddy’s little girl.
So can Dakota find his wife’s murderer? And will it quieten the demons that demand justice? And when Dakota finds out Providence’s mission, can he forgive her? Or will they both find the happiness that they both deserve?

When I first started this book, it was almost a DNF. At first introduction, Dakota wasn't a very sympathetic character. He seemed self-absorbed and the running dirty dialog in his head when he first meets Providence was a pretty big turn off. I was glad I stuck with the book beyond those first few chapters, as Dakota reveals himself to be a devoted dad, and a truly affectionate, protective and loving partner when he allows himself to be.
Providence is a kick ass female lead. A law enforcement agent, she can certainly take care of herself and she is strong enough to see beyond Dakota's good looks and money and demand the respect she deserves from him.
The story itself is fast-paced, with a lot of action and a mystery that will keep you guessing until the end. However, the story is almost muddied by how much the author tries to pack into it - the alpha male with Dom tendencies, the emotionally devastated female lead, career upheavals, murder, etc. Any normal person would fold under the pressure these two face in light of all the events surrounding them. Streamlining the story by reducing some of the character histories and themes may make for a better flow of the story.
Three stars for this suspense-driven romance.

I love finding a new author that I enjoy. I’m not easily pleased. I love books that are fast paced, that have lots of moving parts. This is a terrific read and I’ve been going back and reading the books that came prior. This book is about Dakota and Providence. He is in the real estate business and built his all himself. He has over 200 realtors working for him. Several years ago, his wife was abducted and he was left to raise his young daughter by himself. Of course, he feels like he didn’t protect her enough - that he let her down because as hard as he has tried, he never found her or what happened to her. Tired of the grief he feels every day, he decides to take matters into his own hands by being a vigilante and taking out the kind of creeps that took his wife. Providence is an undercover FBI agent who was tasked to target Dakota. Little did she think that they would have real chemistry or that it would be instant and so strong. This is a terrific read. It grabs you and keeps you turning pages til all hours. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from HiddenGems and purchased a copy as well

The BEST of the Series
I loved this book! Providence, the heroine, was such a confident and capable woman! I really loved her character. She hid her pain and suffering from an event that had occurred in her life about three years ago, but still did her job as an FBI operative in their violent crimes division. Her current job was to investigate Dakota Luck to determine if he was a vigilante.
Dakota met Providence when she filled in for another person at a local kink club where he met with the members of an elite secret team in a reserved soundproof room. Sparks flew from both of them when they met. Dakota had lost his wife about three years prior to the start of this book and was constantly searching for the person who had abducted her. The other party that played a part in this book was Dakota’s four year old precocious daughter, Samantha Lynn, or just Sammy.
The plot in this book was fantastic, with lots of suspense and action. I can’t really say too much about it because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. Just do yourself a favor and definitely read this book, as well as the whole series! Great job, Ms. Alexander! 5 plus stars!

What an incredible read this was! I was captivated from page 1 and could not put this book down. I will definitely be going back and reading the other 5 books in this series as it had me intrigued trying to figure out who was behind the murder.
Dakota is a rich man with a secret life and bad luck just happens to find him it seems. Providence is a strong, independent woman who has secrets of her own. The moment that Dakota and Providence meet, they both have a mutual attraction to each other. The banter between them feels so real and you can actually imagine yourself having a similar conversation with someone you are secretly crushing on.
If you love action, adventure, suspense, passion, twists, and mystery, then you will love this story. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. I love finding new authors and Stoni Alexander definitely did not disappoint. She now has a new fan.

I was excited to get a new book from Stoni! And I couldn't read this book fast enough. This was one of those books that I lost sleep over because I simply couldn't stop. One more chapter ... I LOVED the chemistry between Providence and Dakota. It was palpable through the pages and things quickly heated up! I enjoyed their budding relationship and how they seemed to click. The reader knows some things about Providence that Dakota does not. But the reader doesn't know everything! There's danger around them and Providence and Dakota have to work together to find out what's really happening. I liked the way this story progressed and I thought I knew some of what was happening, but let me tell you, I didn't know everything and found myself shocked. Didn't see that coming! If you like a good romance with some nefarious actions happening around the characters and a book that grabs you and doesn't let you go, then be sure not to let this one pass you by!

A wild run of hard won luck
Dakota Luck (The Touch Series Book 6) by Stoni Alexander is a very well written romantic suspense that felt a bit like a whirlwind. Loved the pace of this book, the plot and especially the characters. Dakota is absolutely the swoon-worthy, brooding bad boy and then some. Providence is one strong woman with a heart of gold that’s been a bit bruised. Dakota and Sammy soothe the bruising, allowing love to flow.
The plot was nearly non-stop action and I was completely captivated from the very beginning. I loved how these two are brought together, providing the perfect romantic and chemical ingredients to set this couple to burn bright, hot and forever.
Overall, a very well written romantic suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat, taking advantage of every opportunity to read. I did not want to put this book down. The epilogue/HEA was so very satisfying! And yet, I still want more!

I was waiting impatiently for this one and it was everything I hoped for and more! This author simply never disappoints!
Dakota was hard to like at first, but it was understandable considering where he’s coming from. He is driven by revenge and besides his daughter and avenfing his wife doesn’t care for anything else. But I enjoyed getting to know his character in more depth and seeing how loyal, devoted and protective he was of his loved ones. Samantha definitely stole the show in this one, that girl was such a sweetheart!
And I really liked Providence! She was one of my favorite female leads in this series! She was such a strong and independent woman. And her and Dakota had a great sizzling hot chemistry from the moment they met!
The mystery and suspense was on point and I was hooked from the first page. This was a great ending to this series.
I truly enjoyed every book in this series and I’m sad to see it end. But at the same time I can’t wait for the next series and Stryker’s story!

Keep em coming M/s Stone, best read for me of 2020. Great main characters with Dakota and Sammy his daughter and Providence, Sammy his adorable daughter just got to me. Revenge is all Dakota thinks about is the death of Beth his wife. Providence meets the adorable Sammy and she can’t stop the pull to her and to Dakota either. Blackmail goes on with secrets and lies, will they all get through this?who is the elusive woman that Dakota had a taste for? Who is trying to set up Dakota for murder?
Lots of twists and turns you do not see coming in a Alexander Stoni. God love Alexander and her amazing mind, with books you never want to put down. I can only but highly recommend this well deserved rating of 5 stars ⭐️ books you want to read again and again.

4.5* Dakota is a man on a mission and nothing stands in his way. He lives for his daughter Samantha and loves her so deeply! Love the daddy-daughter relationship! Dakota will stop at nothing until he finds the man who is responsible for taking his wife from him.
Providence comes in and knocks him flat on his back and he's not sure what to do about it. He starts having feelings for her but fights himself on it. Providence is fighting herself too. Will these two be able to get through everything and become a couple? Will they be willing to put their hearts on their line?
I absolutely adored Samantha!!! I love when children come in to the story and take a little piece of my heart. This little girl definitely did that!
Dakota and Providence are HOT together and have no problems showing it!! Grab this book that's an awesome addition to the Touch Series!!

Ms.Rode Island!
I love this book from the very beginning and I hated to see it end,but happy that it was a very good ending.Dakota was a very strong,generous man with a heart of gold but when his late wife tells him ,she didnt love him or want his little girl,I could feel his heart just crumble.Proviance was his fixer,his light,they both had so many secerts to tell but they did and it just made they love stronger.Randy was a deranged man and his wife wasn't much better,to try kill his Mom ,to try and kill Dakota, steal his child who was Lizzie's who didn't want her only for money and they didn't care who they fame,blame or killed,has along has their was a ton of money involved! This story was worth so many more stars than five,there was kindness,love ,caring,compassion and a ton more,please enjoy this for your self!
I love this book from the very beginning and I hated to see it end,but happy that it was a very good ending.Dakota was a very strong,generous man with a heart of gold but when his late wife tells him ,she didnt love him or want his little girl,I could feel his heart just crumble.Proviance was his fixer,his light,they both had so many secerts to tell but they did and it just made they love stronger.Randy was a deranged man and his wife wasn't much better,to try kill his Mom ,to try and kill Dakota, steal his child who was Lizzie's who didn't want her only for money and they didn't care who they fame,blame or killed,has along has their was a ton of money involved! This story was worth so many more stars than five,there was kindness,love ,caring,compassion and a ton more,please enjoy this for your self!

It was okay. It was a nice ending for the Touch Series. Dakota was on a mission to discover what happened to his wife Beth. His mission put him on the radar of the FBI who sends in an undercover agent, Providence. As Providence investigates Dakota, things in his life become complicated. He is framed for murder. He is blackmailed. Providence crosses the line and is removed from the case. Providence and Dakota have a growing attraction to each other but to be together they have to find out who us targeting Dakota.
The author does try to add some twists to the story. I do like how she links the characters together. I like the fact that Providence us a strong independent woman.

I had not read the other books in this series, but that didn't keep me from thoroughly enjoying this one. Dakota has a secret life - one where he is trying to avenge his wife, all while protecting his precious daughter. Providence is working undercover trying to prove that Dakota is the vigilante assasin the FBI has been looking for. Neither of them counted on their amazing chemistry. Will all be lost when her identity is revealed? Will they be able to save each other when someone seems determined to frame him (and possibly her) for murder? Plenty of twists and turns to this story, as well as drama and some serious sexy times. Kept my attention from beginning to end and leaves me wanting to read the other books in the series.

Great story! Dakota is a single dad, big time realtor and living a double life. Providence is undercover trying to determine if Dakota is there vigilante. When things start happening and Dakota is set up for a murder he didn't commit, can the two reveal their true identities to work together to find the real killer? This was a great story line, I loved the characters. While I figured out early on who was behind the murder, the reason why and LIZZIE through me for a loop! I did not see that part coming!

Dakota Luck is “something else”: Father, widower, super successful realtor, and … Providence is an excellent counterpart in her mutual desire for justice no matter what. The twists and turns in the story up both the heat and danger levels. Definitely another great addition to this super series.

The sixth in the Touch series and another great one. A wonderful romance with beautifully written characters, especially little Sammy, a tense mystery, and a happy ending. What more could you ask?!? Providence is assigned by the FBI to go undercover to track down a vigilante assassin, possibly Dakota. But sparks fly between them when they're together. The sex is hot and the story had me on the edge of my seat. A real page turner. I loved this series and highly recommend them all.

Great fast paced book where there is no damsel in distress. Both Dakota and Providence kick butt and are each others' equals in many ways. It's packed with romance and action. And suspense for some, unfortunately not for me. I immediately knew who were the villains and their plot twists and I just kept reading to see how it would pan out. I received a free copy of this book and I voluntarily reviewed it.

This is the 6th book in the Touch series, but definitely can be read as a stand-alone. I enjoyed this book from start to finish. There’s action, drama, suspense, romance, love, friendship, surprises and scorching chemistry between the characters. The plot was so intriguing that I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! I fell in love with Dakota, Providence and Sammy. This book is fantastic. *this honest review is based on a complimentary copy from the author*

This is my second book by S.A. I first read Sin story.
I wanted to know why Dakota seemed so damaged.
He was not as dark as I thought he'd be.
Once he zeroed in on Providence, he was all in.
Like in Sin story Stoni gave us a surprised twist that had me floored.
The book is bit ob the long side. Found myself skipping a bit.
All and all, Stoni is a good writer. I'll most likely check out the other characters.

Awesome reading
The Touch Series has been a gripping read from the beginning of book one, to book six, the last book of the series. I would recommend these books to anyone who loves a great love story, but not just a love story. These books are brilliantly written and have incredible story lines, with many twists and turn along the way, in each book. I’m just sorry that I’ve finished them. Thank you Stoni Alexander. I can’t wait to read more of your books.

I was a huge fan of this one! I enjoyed the uniqueness of the storyline. I never knew what was coming but could not wait to see what was next. The chemistry between Dakota and Providence was off the charts. Add in a cute little girl that was so adorable and plenty of close family and friends, I found this story very well done and a favorite of mine.

I can’t believe this is the sixth book in the series! Each time I read a new one it becomes my favorite and this one just might be be the best of the all. Dakota’s story is sad but upon his joining forces with Providence you know his life is about to change. This book kept me on my toes I would think it was going to go one way then it’d surprise me. Justice will be theirs. I loved this book!

Damn everything pointed to Providence's brother and she didn't even see that. Her FBI instincts didn't kick in until it was almost too late. Her brother and his wife were sketchy as hell. I suspected when Lizzy started hiding from Dakota and wanting to take Sammy that she was his Beth. I really enjoyed this book.

This is book #6 in the series, and it was better than book #5. I really enjoyed Dakota and Providence's story. The story had it all, action packed, sexy, and romantic. And I am in love with little Sammy. Since these are the only two books I've read in the series, I think I need to back track and read the first four.
