When you grow up in a small town like Great Meadows, you learn to create your own entertainment. You can either spend your time getting high, partying at the field, or working on cars. For Veronica Russo, there’s a certain solace found underneath the hood.
As the youngest sibling of the Russo family, Veronica is under the watchful eyes of her four older brothers; four very protective, very overbearing, and very outspoken brothers. Every guy in town knows Veronicas label: strictly off-limits. They have succeeded in enforcing it; running off every guy that so much as looks in her direction. That is, until Chase arrives back in town.
Close family friend and motorhead, Chase Daniels, returns from deployment, and his world is turned upside down when he comes face to face with Veronica again; shocked to find that she is all grown up. The more he surrounds himself in her company and learns that there is more to Veronica than he ever knew, the more he feels an intense pull towards her. There’s just one problem—his best friends won’t allow it.
Is the fallout of life-long friendships worth the possibility of something more?
You'll most likely find me in front of my computer with a cup of coffee or curled up on the couch with a book. I live in the country, but dream of the beach. I have a notebook full of stories, but a brain that's continuously in motion. My hair is always changing, and my skin is a canvas. Lover of Halloween.
Labeled a debut YA Novel by Jenni Linn is incredible! Jenni has me completely hooked from the very beginning, and kept me there until the very end.
I love love love Veronica and Chase! These two have so many things that could be huge obstacles, but when you have the true feels for one another... it’s going to win out every time.
“We jump together.” “Together?” “Together.”
What I loved most about this book is the depth of these characters history, and how Jenni weaves in Veronica’s crazy but loving brothers, and family.
We all need brothers that have our best interest at heart, even if they can be a pain in the rear.
Oh my word! And I love the cars, and the way Veronica shows us all that women are just as capable as men in handling a muscle car and showing their love for a big engine.
And please... a best friend like Taylor! She was a hoot throughout the whole book!
Jenni creates a world that is relatable, enticing, and so thoroughly enjoyable to read about. It will instantly make you want to search out racing in your area and try to live like the characters she's created.
The plot of this book is the perfect balance of drama, angst, and fun. Nothing is too heavy or out there; just real-world, young, hopeful, romance. It's the perfect easy read for someone who wants to actually enjoy the story they're reading, rather than constantly being frustrated or angry at the plot and characters.
Not that you won't want to punch a Russo brother every once in a while.
The best way I can recommend this book is this:
Every time I'm sick, bored, or lonely and I need a little fun in my day; this is the book I turn to.
I love Labeled it is such a great story! I first read it on Wattpad and fell in love with all the characters. Jenni Linn has a way of pulling you into the story! I did not want to put it down! I can not wait for her next book!
Such a great story, I enjoyed every second of this book! The characters are all super likable (especially Taylor, gotta have a friend like Taylor) and the author really makes you feel like you’re with Veronica and Chase in their little hometown. A fun and fast read, definitely pick up this book!!! McSwoony thanks you 😉
I absolutely loved this book. I have a love hate relationship with the older brothers but I love the all around story. It brings you in like you are really there.
I’m not typically a YA reader but something about the blurb of this book hooked me and I had to read it. And I am so happy I did. Not only was Chase and Veronica a fun couple but to have the addition of the fast cars(which I love, spend a lot of time at the drag strip myself) but also the addition of the other family made this story so much more well rounded. And that ending!!! Now she’s really got me waiting for book 2. ~Jen
For a debut book, Jenni Linn has done a wonderful job with Labeled. Having a husband and son who love drag racing, this book, with it's descriptive writing would make it seem like you were there. I loved reading and following Chase and Veronica's best friend's little sister love story. Along with her very protective older brothers, this story really showed the love the Russo siblings have not only for each other, but their love of cars and racing. I look forward to reading more from this very talented author. ~Dawn
This is a debut read and, wow, what a debut it is! I feel lucky I was selected to read this and couldn't wait to review. The writing is well done, the characters feel like real people, the imagery is written so well it plays out like a movie. Chase and Veronica were cute together. I loved the protective brothers. It's funny, it's sweet, it's very sexy. I definitely recommend! ~Andrea
"I am honestly in awe of what I have just finished reading. This is apparently Jenni Linn’s debut novel and honestly I do not have the correct words to describe how outstanding this book is. I loved the romance between Chase and Veronica. Once again I was drawn to a brothers best friend story and hands down this book was one of the best I have ever read. It was funny, heartwarming and so incredibly enjoyable to read. Add in the Russo brothers and I so cannot wait to read their stories too. You better be a fast writer Jenni!!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book." ~Sharon
If you are looking for a fun, feel good YA romance, THIS IS IT. Look no further. Jenni brings these amazing characters completely to life and makes you fall in love with each of them. All FOUR of the overbearing and overprotective brothers, Veronica and Chase, Taylor and Wes... you can’t help but find something about them that you can relate to in your life. With this being her debut novel, I am really looking forward to reading more of her fantastic work in the future!

For her debut author Jenni Linn brings us a story about racing, and love. Chase Daniels returns home from the service and he catches up with his best friend Vance and his brothers plus his not so little sister anymore. Veronica Russo is off limits to all guys since her brothers don't allow anyone close but Chase is like family so he's always around. They get close but will they be able to be together since her brothers watch her every move? I really enjoyed this book and you will too.
What a fun story of big brothers who think they need to take care of their little sister and scare off every single guy who even dares to look at her. That is until one of their buddies comes back from his deployment and can’t fight his attraction to Veronica—who has grown up while he’s been gone. From incredibly funny and believable family dynamics to super sweet, romantic, and sexy scenes between the two main characters as they dodge detection, this book was great entertainment. Can’t wait for more from this author as she continues this series.
This is a debut author. I am a member of Beth Flynn’s Facebook group. This author came to my attention. I read the blurb and wanted to read this book. I Love the imagery. The country town setting was so real. I could feel that racetrack. This is really well done. This book reminds me of the good ol days back in high school. I smiled a lot while reading this. It was just adorable. It made me remember that feeling of falling in love. It made me reminisce. The couple were just so cute together. I loved all the brothers. They bickered and picked on poor little Veronica. My brother did the same. I hope she writes more soon . I want to see what is gonna happen next. The ending intrigued me. I want to see what woman is gonna capture each of the brothers attention. I am a fan. I highly recommend this book.
I thoroughly loved reading this book. The progression of Veronica and chase's relationship was beautiful. The brother brought a lot of entertainment and made it the more fun loving romance novel that it is. The only part of the book I wasn't as keen on was the ending. The very very end, AMAZING. I can't wait to read 'hopefully' the next installment. But I feel like the conflict resolution between chase and Vance was over in a blip. No progression to it. Definitely wouldn't stop me re-reading. Great 1st book from a new author!
Other than to work or sleep I couldn't stop reading it. Finished in 2 days and loved every second of it. Can't wait for the next one! Great breakout writing Jenni Linn. You've earned a lifelong fan.
Labeled is fun, exciting, sexy, and a downright amazing read. From front to back you’re hooked—to to the characters and the story. Jenni Linn brings to life realistic dialogue with just as realistic circumstances, and humor along the way. Please, give this book a shot. You won’t regret it!

How has this book scammed a 4.3 average rating? I would have thought it would be unanimously disliked, or at least unanimously VERY, VERY guiltily enjoyed. Almost gave up reading this a few times, it was so unbearable.
As a fellow car girl, and 1st gen Camaro fan (I have a 68), I really enjoyed this book. Now I'm invested in the characters and hope to read their stories in the future. More please!
I like how Chase & V were with each other? It was sweet how Chase treated V. The only part I didn't like was the ending. What the neck was that! I can't wait for the next book!
I love this book. I couldn't stop reading it. I would love to have a friend like V and Taylor. Also at the end where Victor shows up at the house. That had my heart beating fast. I need to find out. Please tell me how and when. I'm desperate right now.
I debated giving this 3 stars but I cringed too many times throughout to do so….
Veronica is an 18 year old virgin and senior in high school. She’s never dated anyone because she has 4 older brothers who act more like her father. They are absolutely ridiculously over protective. She falls for her brothers’ best friend when he returns from deployment and he falls right away too. But they hide it and yada yada yada, we know how it goes.
The writing dragged on to me yet the very end was rushed into just a few pages. There were some swoon worthy parts but I feel they were overshadowed by all the mundane scenes the author wrote. Chase was definitely the best written character but age wise he is around 21 or 22, he just seemed too old for her. I mean she’s in high school and he has a real job!!! I will say that some of the bickering between the siblings were amusing. Other than that, I actually could have done with not reading this.
I will add that I guess the author plans to make this a series. The very very last sentence is one of the brothers barging in saying “my wife is a whore”. Hahaha that’s the last sentence of a HEA romance - my wife is a whore. I was so shocked that I burst out laughing.
