When trying to obtain a career in the fire service, I had absolutely NO resources. I didn't know anyone. I didn't have a family legacy of people who went before me in the fire service. Nothing. I was forced to figure it all out on my own and after 7 years of testing and interviewing, I was finally hired as a full-time firefighter/paramedic.

If I would've had Captain Brendon Trayner's book "Fire Interview" to help guide me in refining my interview skills, not only am I sure that I would've gotten hired much sooner, I would've had my pick of the litter.

Captain Trayner's practical approach is life-changing. He has a specific plan and strategic approach which pretty much guarantees success when it comes to the interview process. You've just got to do the work and follow the steps. Captain Trayner's process is proven! If you're looking to refine your interview skills when it comes to getting hired with a fire department, this book is a MUST HAVE!
