Going undercover is Bella’s only hope.

Her mission?

Convince Ben to sell his inn, and she’ll get the information needed to locate the family she’s never known.

Should be simple, right? After all, he’s behind on his mortgage, and a recent earthquake has rocked the town—and his finances. His beachfront property is ripe for the picking.

But the big-city executive didn’t count on him being so stubborn. So rooted in family and tradition and everything that small-town America stands for.

She also didn’t count on him being so attractive and wounded and … good.

And Bella has to wonder if the ends really justify the means.

But more than that—can love survive a lie?

I enjoyed this clean, short, contemporary romance.

The story follows Bella who is sent by her Mum, a developer, to persuade Ben to sell his family inn. Bella doesn’t tell Ben who she really is, not even when chemistry starts to develop between them.

I enjoyed the romance in this story. I felt that the characters were realistic and not flat. I liked the Walker Beach community setting.

The book is clean. I personally would have liked more spiritual content.

The conflict of interests was strong, and I was not certain how the relationship would be able to take off the ground.

All of You, Always, the first novel in Lindsay Harrel’s new Walker Beach Romance series, is a sweet, clean beach romance that fans of small-town books are sure to love.

Readers are introduced to Ben Baker, member of one of the founding families of the small town of Walker Beach, and Bella Moody, a city girl who is searching for answers to her past. Secrets quickly threaten any chance at a relationship between the unlikely pair. I love the small town of Walker Beach and can’t wait to read more of this series!

All of You, Always is highly recommended for fans of clean contemporary romance and for readers who enjoy novels by authors such as Courtney Walsh, Denise Hunter, Becky Wade, Melissa Tagg, and Susan May Warren.

Love love and love this story!! Learning to find our self worth in anything other than God can be really difficult. We live in a world that constantly reminds us that the opinions of other people are all that matter, who you know matters, etc. But in the end it doesn't matter what other people think, who we know, etc. God knows exactly who we are and we don't have to prove anything to Him.

I have been a fan of Lindsay Harrel's books for a couple of years and am very excited she is publishing her first series in the Walker Beach Romance series. I have found a new fictional family and town to love in this series. The warmth of family and community oozes off the page allowing readers to escape the busyness of their lives for a couple of hours.

I loved the chemistry between Ben and Bella. While Ben struggles with saving a floundering dream, Bella is searching for family and a place to belong. As they seek to help each other, their budding relationship may not survive a shaky foundation of secrets. Each struggles to find worth within themselves not just within a family legacy. Harrel pens a heartwarming blend of romance and family in this first novel of what promised to be a wonderful series. I am eagerly looking forward to reading Evan's and Madison's story. Highly recommend for fans of Melissa Tagg and Becky Wade.

This was a fun and sweet romance. It was nice to return to Walker Beach again after enjoying the prequel novella so much.

I wondered if I was going to like Bella Moody, knowing that she was hiding who she was from Ben. However, fairly early on, Bella began to have a real change of heart and then the questions she asked herself seemed to be about "when" and "how" to let Ben know who she really was. So, I did end up hoping for the best for both Bella and Ben.

Ben was very likable. I couldn't help but feel sorry for his situation, both with having been jilted and also with the trouble the inn faced. I liked the way things played out in this story and I am looking forward to reading more books in the series.

I am absolutely loving my time at Walker Beach! I already feel like a part of this loving small-town community by the ocean where family and friends will always stand by your side. This sweet story of a struggling innkeeper and a high-power executive sent to buy that inn will warm your heart. Ben is the loving, loyal, family-oriented innkeeper who's struggling to maintain his family's inn after an earthquake and also struggling to recover from being jilted at the altar. Bella is a creative, capable executive whose boss (and mother) has sent her to find ways to convince Ben to sell the inn. Though their relationship starts out with deception on Bella's part, it quickly becomes something real and heartfelt. I loved Ben's big heart - a heart that's willing to risk falling in love again and to lay down his pride for something greater. Both of them finding worth and love in who they are, not what their family legacy says or what they can offer, is a wonderful discovery. I can't wait to return to Walker Beach for some more fun with the large Baker family!

I received a copy of the book from the author and was under no obligation to post a positive review. All comments and opinions are solely my own. And you can get a copy of All at Once, the prequel novella to the series, when you sign up for the author's newsletter.

Ben Baker cannot fail. At least that's the pressure he feels looming from previous generations of successful Baker business owners. Yet the inn he inherited is falling down around him, and this was never the job he envisioned for himself. He doesn't want to sell, though he's had offers. He wants to find a way to pull himself and the struggling inn up by the bootstraps.

Bella Moody will do anything to find out who her father is. The question has haunted her throughout her entire life. Her tight-lipped professional mother won't give her any information that might help in Bella's search. But finally her mother lays down a bread crumb: If Bella can go to Walker Beach and convince a stubborn property owner to sell to their company, she'll reveal her father's name.

When Bella arrives in Walker Beach, she is immediately charmed by the small town and its friendly citizens. And the handsome inn owner. She disguises her real reason for coming to town and befriends Ben, but soon she sees his heartbeat for the place and the pressure he's under with his family. Will she be forced to choose between helping Ben or helping her mother? Does a chance at a future mean she'll have to give up hope of discovering her past?

Note: This story was written for the general market, and I truly missed the faith aspect. Lindsay has written some of my favorite womens fiction over the past few years, including The Secrets of Paper and Ink and The Joy of Falling . Don't miss those as this new series rolls out.

I received my copy of the book from the author. All thoughts in this review are my own.

It's always exciting to hear of a favourite author releasing a new series! "All of You, Always" is the first in Lindsay Harrel's new clean romance series, Walker Beach Romance. While not exclusively Christian fiction, there are still hints towards the end about our finding our worth in God alone."All of You, Always" is set in the delightful fictional town of Walker Beach. It immediately welcomes you and gives off such a warm, happy feeling, so it really was a great setting. The characters were well written. Ben makes a good hero, and you can understand Bella's plight. I will say that, as one sensitive to being lied to and false honesty, I had a little bit of a hard time with the plot line. I know Bella felt she couldn't tell the truth right up front, but reading plots where secrets are kept always keep me on edge. There was also an instance regarding a passing side character with memory struggles that I feel could've used some more sensitivity than was given. Bella reacted in a selfish way, which again, I understand, but there wasn't much compassion given to the elderly lady either. And again, I realize that this is an issue I am sensitive about as well, since my grandmother suffers from Alzheimer's, but I wanted to note it in my review just in case there are others with the same "triggers".Otherwise, I found this to be a fun story, with a good conclusion, and I am excited for the rest of the series!

There's nothing like a Lindsay Harrel book. Truly. (Exhibit A: "The Heart Between Us." Exhibit B: "Secrets of Paper and Ink." I rest my case.)

The Walker Beach Romance series, particularly "All of You, Always," has me super excited. It means I can squee about not only a new Harrel book, but a new series! YAY!

With signature style and skill (#allthealliteration), Harrel brings fictional Walker Beach to life in all its vibrant color. Ahhh ... small towns. Make that small *beach* towns. :) I have a few on my short-list of favorites (*cough* Cannon Beach. *cough* Hilton Head. *cough*) Now add Walker Beach to my fictional-town favorites shortlist alongside Becky Wade's Merryweather, WA! I'm very much looking forward to mentally exploring the town and getting to know its characters in subsequent releases.

"All of You, Always" doesn't shy away from heavy topics, either. (Also signature Harrel.) Plumbing the depths of forgiveness and how it's as much for us as the other person, this read will challenge and encourage readers at any stage of life.

I received a copy of the book from the author. All opinions are my own.

This was such a sweet story. Even though some part of the plot was expected (boy and girl meets, they fall in love, misunderstanding which leads to break up), I was surprised with the depths and character growth these characters went through in these pages.

I loved the setting and small community of Walker Beach. Everyone knows everyone and the Baker family was one who had each other's backs and joined forces when it counted.

No, this was all sweaters and fireplaces and cozy summer evenings, curled up reading a good book.

I did like Ben more than Bella, mainly because even though Bella came across as a strong independent women, she allows her mom to dictate her. I loved her friend Jess who was her voice of reasoning and push to do things right. Ben, oh I loved to see how he healed and had to learn to let go of his pride and turn to family for help. Bella had a real struggle with identifying who she is.

You are not the sum of your name, so you have to stop acting like it defines you.

Even though this was short, it was filled with forgiveness, healing and a journey of discovering where one's true identity lies.

This series will consist of 4 books which will be released monthly, starting Jan 4th.

When tragedy strikes and the Inn Ben has inherited from his family is in jeopardy and a beautiful guest shows up life gets interesting. Bella is incognito as a guest but she’s really looking to convince Ben to sell to her mother’s company. This makes for an interesting story and many things happen to help both of the characters grow. We meet Ben in the prequel to this series. All the characters in the Walker Beach series will make for interesting reads! I received a copy of this book from the author. All views stated are my own.

I really enjoyed this book. Real life is so heavy right now, and I love a book that sucks me in and takes me away for a bit! The characters of Ben and Bella were great, and I loved going on their journey with them. The town of Walker Beach was a great setting, and is one of those places I wish was real so I could go visit there. I’m excited that this is the first book in a series and I’ll get to go back and visit this town and these characters again soon! I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.

I am a huge Lindsay Harrel fan. “All of You, Always” is the first novel in Lindsay’s new Walker Beach romance series. With all the craziness going on in the world today, this book came at just the right time, I was swept away in the story.

The book reminds us that it does not matter what other’s think about us or who we are, God knows exactly who we are. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.

This was a charming love story. Ben and Bella are great characters that each have an interesting back story and you can't help but want them to find a happily ever after. Bella has a bit of a mystery and that made for a fun addition to the story. I am hoping we see more of the mystery in the future. A fun light read perfect for curling up for a good escape read. Don't miss it! I am looking forward to the rest of the series!!

What a beautiful story about love and forgiveness.

The only think I didn’t quite like about this story....there was one thing that did not have a good resolution. But...as this is the beginning of a new series, I am going to hope to get answers in a later book.

I couldn’t help but love Bella.
Sweet, but so unsure of herself, and desperately wanting to find love and her place in life.
Enter Ben.
But what will happen when he finds out who she really is?

I enjoy getting swept away into Lindsay's novels as she takes readers to fun locations, and/or includes them in new projects that her flawed characters are embarking on. I love how the characters organically grow in her novels. This story is no exception.

Bella Moody is on a mission to discover who her father is, the only way to do that is to fulfill her mother’s mission which is to buy a hotel, on Walker Beach. Bella's mother hopes her company might have an advantage in purchasing the hotel since a recent earthquake hit Walker Beach hard. She arrives at the Iridescent Inn and loves what she sees. It’s amazing. She hears someone yell, “Watch Out!” Before she could take in the meaning someone crossed her path and made her roll-out of the way of falling debris. Ben Baker saved her. She discovers this incredible strong handsome man owns this Inn. He sets her up in a room and asks for her name. Bella Moody could not give her real name. Ben would recognize who she was because her mother had been pursuing this property for a while. She tells him Bella Miranda was her full name; close enough it was her first and middle name something she could remember.

Bella is moved by this beautiful, charming Inn, beach and this caring young man. It is a place she felt she belonged, Ben introduces her to his family who encouraged and loved her not for what she could do but for who she was. She felt bad about hiding the real reason she was there. Things would be over if that news got out. Bella says, to Ben who asked about her upbringing, “… My strength came from being forced to do life on my own, without family to support me. Because while my mom was off pursuing her dreams of a business empire, she ruined my own.”

I enjoyed this story, the setting, hanging out with the Baker family, and Bella as she discovers what’s important and tries to keep the main thing the main thing. This story is an entertaining fun getaway.

I felt bad for Bella Moody sent to Walker Beach by her high-powered Mother to convince Inn owner Ben Walker to sell to them, and in exchange, her mom will give Bella more information about the father she never met. She begins by checking in as Bella Miranda (her middle name), so Ben wouldn't recognize her last name. Ben is the real deal, a hardworking, good guy who Bella begins to fall for. Now she is stuck in a web of deceit, where she wonders if the ends justify the means. She will either disappoint her mother or Ben with the truth. They are a study in opposites, Ben and his huge family work hard and enjoy their frequent big family gatherings, Bella has only her Mom who has been too busy building her business for the last decade to pay her any attention.

"The woman stepped forward and, before Bella knew it, had her arms around Bella's shoulders. She smelled like Jasmine and lemon and her embrace wasn't casual it was a real mom hug, deep and tender and welcoming, the kind Bella hadn't experienced in a long time."

"It wasn't the typical fake laugh of The Plastics in the corporate world Bella had known for the last 10 years ever since mom's business venture had catapulted them from poverty to riches almost overnight. No, this was all sweaters and fireplaces and cozy summer evenings curled up reading a good book."

"Scanning the area, Bella finally located Ben on the ground, dog-piled underneath three small children, laughing. The site did something to her inside. Capable handyman. Family guy. Child wrangler."

Bella's best friend is like family to her. She encourages Bella to come clean with everyone. "Family isn't just about blood. It's about the bond you share. It's the people you choose to surround yourself with, to be there for. And I choose you. "

I love the Walker family and the setting of Walker Beach. This is going to be a fun place to keep visiting. I look forward to the next story All Because of You coming soon!!

Thank you to the author and publisher for a chance to read an early copy of All of You! All opinions are my own.

Yes I would like to visit Walker Beach please! This fun, fast paced contemporary romance from Lindsay Harrel has all the makings of a Hallmark movie. When Bella comes to town and coincidentally uses her middle name as a last name when introducing herself to Ben, you know exactly how that's going to turn out. But you keep reading, and thankfully so because Harrel writes a fantastic hunky hero.

Ben is a stubborn, down-to-earth likeable guy. I hated the fact that Bella lied to him because I knew how much it would upset his character. That's how much I was invested in his character! But really, Ben's a guy who is just trying to do something that won't let down his family. And unfortunately by doing so, along with his stubbornness to ask for help, he finds himself in a pretty sticky financial bind. I can so relate to that - maybe not the financial part to that extreme, but I do have a hard time asking for help.

I do like how Bella and Ben's relationship unfolds (except for that pesky lie of omission). They seem natural together, and good for each other. It's not an instant, oh I love you, type romance which I like. I mean this book isn't super long, and yet it still didn't feel rushed to me. I'm glad Harrel took her time with them. And of course at the revealing moment, because we all know it's coming, I could totally play out the Hallmark scenes in my mind. Truly, I could see this being part of their spring or summer line up for next year.

I enjoyed reading this clean contemporary romance from Lindsay Harrel, and am excited to dive into the next installment when it comes out! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!

Bella Moody has been sent to Walker Beach for one reason, a covert Mission to cozy up to Ben Baker and convince him to sell his Inn. Then Bella can get what she wants which is for her Mother to reveal the answer to the Top Secret Information she has kept from Bella all of her life. The Top Secret Information? Who is Bella’s Father? The Mission is simple enough. Bella has spent years preparing for this role. This is a make it or break it Project for her Mother’s Development Company. Everything is perfect. What could possibly go wrong? BEN BAKER. He is the one thing that as could mess up each and every detail of the best laid plans! Why? He is ruggedly good-looking. You can not help but notice him as he is working around you, even when you are doing your very best to ignore him. He is sincere (without even trying — it is just his nature). He is cautious but when he decides to TRUST, he is ALL IN. He adores his nieces and nephews and he is also a Southern Gentleman to the core. Will Bella be able to make the Deal or will Bella choose Ben and save the Inn? I really loved this Novel! Author Lindsay Harrel has created a GEM of a story and this proves just how good this new Series is going to be. I cannot wait to read the entire Walker Beach Romance Series!

Have you ever felt like you needed to do something, or be someone you’re not, just to get the love and respect from family or friends?

Well, the two characters in this book each have an issue they are dealing with.
Bella has always wanted to know who her father is, in hopes to feel like she is loved and that she belongs. So, she tries to please her mom, that way her mom will tell her who he is.

I love this quote from the book:
“Your worth, your sense of belonging, can’t be found in your mom. You are a beautiful creation, loved by God, loved by me, and loved by so many others.”

Ben is trying to get his feet on the ground after an earthquake did so much damage. He just wants the inn he inherited to be successful, so his family will be proud of him.
What they find is so much different than what they ever thought.

It’s a sweet story of family, forgiveness, love, and has a beautiful lesson of how God really does want to take our burdens, and that He has a plan for our life.
I couldn’t put it down because I was so invested in the lives of these two characters. I really enjoy reading books written by Lindsay Harrel. She brings such wonderful lessons to our hearts through her books.
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Walker Beach is a welcome escape during these very difficult times, and I am loving the series so far. Lindsay Harrel never disappoints!
When Bella Moody is sent by her mother to Walker Beach to convince the owner of the Iridescent Inn to sell, she doesn't expect to feel so attracted to him. Ben Baker is stubborn, but also handsome and kind. Bella hides her true last name from him as she gets him to open up and reveal the financial information her mother is looking for, but soon she regrets lying to him. Bella has to make a decision between what's best for her mother or for herself and Ben.
I loved this book just as much as the rest of the series so far. The writing was descriptive and realistic, so it was easy for me to be transported to Walker Beach in my mind. The setting was beautiful and enticing: the beach and the ocean were relaxing to read about. I couldn't stop reading until I reached the conclusion. I felt so badly for Bella and the way her mother put her in the middle of a difficult situation. There were important lessons about family, friends, life, and love woven in, and I can't deny that I found myself tearing up more than once. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys sweet romance.

I don't get it. The reviews are all so positive and I didn't connect with this story AT ALL! For one, it was almost exactly the same story as the romance movie "A California Christmas" on Netflix. High-powered CEO mom of a development agency, sends child with little other talent to woo a person who refuses to sell their property. Their development company is relying on the sale, but due to sentimental/family reasons the non-seller (who we will call "NS") refuses any amazing offer they are given despite them being behind on their mortgage and on the verge of losing everything. Buyer's child falls in love with stubborn NS and mom shows up and reveals their scheme. NS wants nothing to do with their former love interest. Buyer's child hatches plan that ultimately saves NS's property/business. Aside from the gender swaps, it is the same exact story! And, in my opinion, they both do a similar job telling it.

The story lacked depth and the words/sentences were not exciting. I felt like there were a lot of filler and unnecessary parts. For example, we learned about how Ben installed the roof but what about how he felt when he installed it? I don't care about the process, exactly. Constructive imagery would tell me how the supplies felt in his hands, how the drill vibrated or how his hand cramped from the repetitive movements.

In short, I read the book but I didn't feel it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Cozy read

In "All of You Always," we follow Bella, a city slicker, as she goes undercover in Walker Beach to convince Ben to sell his inn. Things get complicated when Bella catches feelings for Ben and starts questioning her deception. It's a sweet story about love, redemption, and figuring out where you belong.

The main characters totally make this book awesome. Bella is like juggling work stuff with crushing on Ben, and Ben is all about family and old-school values. Watching them change and deal with trust and honesty is so real and interesting.

Lindsay Harrel writes in a way that's easy to follow and really draws you in. Her book is full of vibrant descriptions and touching moments that leave you feeling uplifted. The story flows nicely, with some surprises to keep things interesting but not too many. You can easily keep track of both Bella and Ben's points of view, and the whole thing just reads really smoothly.

"All of You Always" is a super enjoyable book that blends romance and depth really well. It shows off Harrel's knack for writing stories that are both fun and thought-provoking. If you're into contemporary romance with a sweet and genuine vibe, I totally suggest giving this book a go.

Lindsay Harrel has quickly become a must-read author for me and this latest book from her did not disappoint in the least! Family, such a big part of who we are, and we can find ourselves placing so much pressure on ourselves to prove something or to feel accepted by our families. Lindsay tackles this in this latest book and I think that is part of what drew me in, as the characters are so relatable!
"All of You, Always" is the first Walker Beach Romance in the series and it was such a great start! Bella is on a mission to convince Ben to sell his inn as her mom has made a deal with her and she really wants this deal to work out. Bella does not know who her father is as her mother has never shared this information with her and now she is willing to on this one condition. However, Ben is determined to make the inn successful, he cannot fail, and be the first in so many generations to fail.

Both of these characters are searching for things in their lives and yet their lives are intersecting and they both cannot win and get what they believe they need to feel accepted and be happy. This is a heartfelt story that will draw you into the characters' lives and leave you wanting more time with them. The writing is excellent and the characters and setting come alive in the pages.

All of You, Always by Lindsay Harrel is a very sweet contemporary romance that I did enjoy. The plot is reminiscent of Hallmark movies, but I found Harrel’s story to be way more substantial and way less cheesy than anything one gets from Hallmark. I appreciate the setting of this story; Harrel does a wonderful job capturing a small, close-knit, American beach community. I very much enjoyed the sense of belonging this story creates and loved the feeling of being right there in Walker Beach with the characters. I did find the secondary characters to be more caricature in nature, but the protagonists, Ben and Bella, are complex. As far as conflict goes, I found I could relate better to Ben’s struggles and felt he handles things quite realistically. What I like the most about Ben is his willingness to forgive and to give second chances to others. It’s not easy for Ben, or anyone really, to forgive some hurts and those who did the hurting, but it is something we should — nay, need — to do for our own well being. And, I found the romance to be sweet. It builds quickly but not unrealistically. I especially love how Ben and Bella want to help each other out in their respective struggles. It actually made me smile how natural their inclinations were to be there for one another even though they hadn’t known one another for very long. All in all, I enjoyed my time reading this story and very much look forward to the next installment in the Walker Beach Romance series. If you are a fan of sweet contemporary romances, then definitely check out All of You, Always today!

The author has written a beautiful and intriguing beginning to this newest series. The characters were very well done and easy for the reader to settle right into the storyline and take a trip with this unusual couple. There is a lot of seeking, mystery, underlying drama that keeps this story moving from one chapter to another, but the love and caring attitude tends to prevail throughout. I loved the laid back and fun attitude of many of the town's characters that were introduced. You never knew what someone would come up with or what quirky circumstance might pop up. Through it all, however, family and community values stood strong. This looks to be an excellent beginning and I look forward to the next book.

I received an ARC copy of this book, but this is my voluntary, honest and completely personal review.

Bella and Ben are both committed to family. Bella is committed to finding the Father she never knew. Ben is committed to not loosing the property that has been in his family for generations.

Bella quickly discovers that in her determination to find answers, she could miss out on the best thing right in front of her. Ben's past experience with a woman's dishonesty has shaped him. When he discovers Bella's real reasons for coming into town, their relationship crumbles just like his beach house. Can they build a more solid foundation for their relationship to survive future earthquakes?

Lindsay Harrel delivers another great read! This was a quick read with depth that begs the reader to question the value of integrity and family.

I received a free review copy of this book from the author. I was not required to leave a positive review. All opinions are my own.
