This is the fourth book in the Cowboy Billionaire's Series but is read as a standalone. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster. You'll be wiping tears one minute and jumping for joy the next. Ryan and his brothers are billionaire owners of ranching and oil companies. Watching his brothers with their children makes him yearn for some of his own. The problem is he doesn't want any permanent relationship because of scars from ex. Is a surrogate the answer or is the pretty single mom Ellie the one who can make his family dreams come true? They both have secrets they're not sharing. This book is a great one, well written with a good story line that will capture your attention right away and keep you awake reading. The characters are well developed and likable. Sadie Remington’s cousin, beautiful blond-haired, blue-eyed Ellie, knows from personal experience that life can be both unfair and difficult. But, when she looks into the sweet face of her son, Micah, and considers the unquestioning love and support that Sadie and her husband Will have happily given her, Ellie knows that she is blessed. So, no matter how challenging her future may be as a single mother trying to establish herself in the traditionally male craft of farrier and blacksmith, she knows that she will succeed. How could she fail with the support and encouragement that she experiences every day from Sadie, her only living relative?
But, Ellie has learned the hard way that words of affirmation can be false and misleading. She learned that lesson at great personal cost when the man who fathered her son and who had been responsible for supervising her apprenticeship as a blacksmith, turned his back on her, cutting off all communications and physically relocating, when she told him that she was pregnant. And, if his physical rejection weren’t hurtful enough, his rejection had undermined her self-esteem, creating confidence mountains that she continued to climb as she worked to succeed in the male-dominated field of blacksmithing.
Now, living at the guest house of Sadie and Will Remington, one of the six Remington brothers of Conroe, Texas, Ellie has the opportunity to practice her trade as the official blacksmith and farrier for the Brothers Remington in their rodeo competitions. And, when she is tasked with shoeing Monty, the prize horse of the eldest Remington brother Ryan, she knows that all eyes are on her work.
So, when Monty throws his shoe during the barrel racing competition, endangering both horse and rider, Ellie fears that the wrath of another man is about to further damage her confidence and perhaps even her reputation as a farrier and blacksmith, further undermining her ability to establish a business that will allow her to support herself and her son. So, when Ryan seeks her out after the event, she fears that his purpose is to further chastise her as a young, female craftsman who is out of her league. But, when he offers his thanks, complimenting her on her skillfulness in quickly re-shoeing the horse, allowing him to return to the competition and to achieve the best time in the field of competitors, she is shocked. What Ellie doesn’t know, and would not believe if she were told, is that Ryan has his eye on her, and it’s not just for her skills for bending iron or shoeing horses.
JP Comeau’s romances are always grounded in the real-life concerns of families working to survive the challenges of life, and offering insights and perspectives on the nature of family. In Cowboy’s Tempting Neighbor, Comeau allows the reader to ponder the nature of parenthood and the powerful physical and emotional pull experienced by both women and men to create life, even outside of the expected pathways, in order to have a child. And, the author also allows the reader to find joy in the concept of the heart being big enough to love a child, even one which is not of one’s own body.
Cowboy’s Tempting Neighbor continues the story of the Remington’s, now introducing the three elder brothers from their dad’s first marriage. The reader meets the eldest of the six Remington brothers, Ryan, half-brother to Bart, Bryce and Will, teasing the reader with the possibility of meeting two more Remington hunks, Wyatt and Boone, and learning their stories! Each novel is a stand-alone story, but having met the Brothers Remington, the reader will want to follow each brother’s pathway to love and family.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review ARCS, but I enjoyed the reading experience so much that I bought a copy for my "read-again" titles.
I am so happy to see the Remington Family back again! Ellie has not had the best life as a child and instead of focusing on a professional career and a bright new future Ellie was acutely aware of what she did not want to do instead of what possibilities were available for her. At least knowing what you do not want can lead you to what you do... or does it? In a profession that many deemed to be for men only not only has Ellie been trained but she has also found that in the journey of life there are many curves and backwoods paths that can test the strength of the strongest of men. Reuniting with her cousin Sadie is one of the best decisions that she could have ever made... now if only she can turn the page for her fresh new start!
Ryan Remington is the oldest son from Mr. Remington Sr's. first marriage. Although his parents divorced years ago family has always been the most important to the Remington family and he and his brothers have forged tight brotherly bonds and have always had each others backs. There is nothing they would not do for each other. Not only is his family close knit but they are also highly regarded in business and in the rodeo arena. It is a wonderful life and Ryan knows just how blessed he is but he feels something is missing. Being around his brothers has shown Ryan what he wants... his own HEA but it is not easy when you are rich beyond measure... I mean would they love him for who he is or for the money??? Talking with Ellie is easy, and she is gorgeous too, she gets him even if she thinks he could never love someone like her. Is what they are feeling real or is it a fluke???
Such a wonderful story with so many life lesson provided along the way. Sometimes we can never know how strong we are until being strong is all we have. In this pandemic we have all been stretched and tried in ways we could not imagine yet here we stand and that is what I think of Ellie who showed such resilience and grace in her trials and devastation. Ryan with patience and determination fought tooth and nail for his future! Each of these characters shows us just how love can heal, strengthen us, lift us up and lead us to our destiny. I absolutely loved their story that was so very real and gave all of the wonderful feels of a love that has been tried, tested and prevailed in ways one could never imagine.

Cowboy's Tempting Neighbor is JP Comeau's 4th book in the Cowboy Billionaires Series. This book introduces new characters If you have read the first 3 books in the series. This book concentrates on the oldest half-brother, sometimes referred to as "Uncle" Ryan and his younger siblings Wyatt and Boone. These new half brothers are also involved in the family business but do not as of yet live in Conroe, the site of the business Headquarters.
Ryan has had his eyes on Ellie for some time. Ellie is cousins with Sadie who is married to Will, one of the original brothers in the series. Ellie came to live on the family Ranch while pregnant and alone. She had a difficult delivery that required surgery immediately after so being near family was a definite plus. Sadie was trained as a Blacksmith and is trying to build a business with the help of the original Remington Brothers. She lives in Bryce's guesthouse free of charge, has a workspace and office located on the Ranch and takes care of the families' many horses in return. Ellie also travels with the brothers when competing in Rodeos.
Ryan, as I said is the eldest half brother. He lives in Dallas but is considering a move closer to the new business Headquarters and Ellie. Ryan also competes in Rodeos and uses Ellie's services for his horse. Ryan tries his hardest to get Ellie to notice him and go out with him but Ellie is concentrating on building her business and raising her son by herself and protecting him. Ellie was traumatized her son Seth's father behavior when learning of the pregnancy so she is very weary of starting a new romance even though she does secretly have a thing for Ryan. Their story is fraught with angst but also tender, steamy and fun times. It has all the feels.
I love this book series because I love Alpha Cowboys (rich or not but rich is always better) and I love Rodeo. I read the first 3 books in the series and though that was it. Ryan was mentioned in passing as "Uncle Ryan" so I was surprised and excited to find out he was actually one of 3 half-brothers to be featured in books 4 thru 6. More awesome cowboys yay!!! I recommend this book and the first 3 if you haven't read them yet. I have read all of Ms. Comeau's books and look forward to more in the future. I'm hoping she writes more cowboys, she does an excellent job. I plan to be a lifelong fan.
This book is amazing! A wonderful story about another Remington brother finding his happily ever after. Ryan is looking to find something that gives him recognition outside the family business. He hopes to win a rodeo championship with his horse, Mountain Dew. When Monty throws a shoe on the first run, he isn't sure what will happen. Ellie, who has become the family's farrier and blacksmith is worried that it is her fault. She is trying to start a new life for her and her son Micah. While she struggles to start her own business the brothers are there for her every step of the way. She has a crush on Ryan but tries not to act on it. Ryan also has a crush on Ellie and is deciding to move forward with the next part of his life. He is ready for a child and is looking at using a surrogate. When he and Ellie finally get together, sparks fly. A conversation on a date will turn things around when she learns Ryan wants the one thing she can never give him - a lot of children. As the two get closer, Ryan finally gets the nerve to reveal his feelings and Ellie is willing to give it a try. Things are great until he mentions the surrogate and an argument ensues. She blurts out that she can't have any more children and Ryan does everything he can to assure he that he's ok with that, that he loves her anyway. They will get past that to move forward with their relationship and the surrogacy which will result in them adding one more to their happy little family.

This is book four in the Cowboy Billionaire series. You can read this book as a standalone, but I recommend reading the first three books first since they’re all connected. The books are about the Remington Brothers, there are six of them, and the women the fall for. My emotions took a bit of a hit with this one. It was well written, steamy, sweet and entertaining. I enjoyed being back on the Rocking R Ranch with the Remington brothers.
Ryan Remington is done trying to find that special woman to have a family with. The women he’s dated only cared about one thing, his money, so he’s decided to hire a surrogate to help give him the family he’s been wanting. Ellie is a single mom trying to do everything she can to make a better life for her and her son. Her cousin Sadie, who’s married to Ryan’s brother Will, invited her to stay at the ranch and the Remington’s have done everything they can to help her get her farriers business up and running. Every time her and Ryan are around each other they can’t help but stare at each other. The attraction is there on both sides but both of them have been hurt. Ellie has walls built around her heart ten miles high and Ryan keeps tell himself that Ellie wouldn’t want to be involved with his surrogacy attempt. Can these two lonely souls find strength in each other? Can Ellie drop her walls and trust Ryan?

JP Comeau has done it again with her Cowboys and Cowgirls series; and the message around fertility in this book is dealt with great sensitivity as well.
As always JP's writing is amazing, you can see the planning and timeline between the books has been worked perfectly. The two main characters has been met before as secondary characters but are now brought to the fore for their moment in the spot light whilst the others become our secondary cast. As the main two they shine, an older single broody cowboy (all be it in secret) and our feisty cowgirl making a living making horse shoes as a blacksmith in a man's world bringing up her son. Both characters are written with such emotional strength and weakness that you have to wonder how they survive the days!
If you've read the rest of the series you know exactly to expect with this book, if you haven't WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???? You need to pick up this and the rest of the books as soon as you can. They will make a great addition to your Kindle library. I'm totally recommending them to you today xx

Another Remington man what was not to like about this book. Ryan played hard when he was younger, but now he was older and worked the oil company and the refinery the same as his other brothers. He even barrel raced and was one of the top contenders. His half-brothers kept a full-time farrier at the ranch just for the horses. Ryan had his eye on Ellie from the first time he saw her, but Ellie had been hurt in the past. She had a little boy Micah that she spent all her spare time on. Ryan want a woman that wanted him for him not his money. Ellie wanted a man that would stick around forever not just play around. They were attracted to each other, but they just could not seem to verbally communicate to each other. Ryan and Micah got along great together. Would Ryan and Ellie ever get it together ever with the three wives and the five brothers helping? There was some really new and interesting story line in this book that I enjoyed reading that something new added special depth. I hope you all read this book just find out what was extra special.

Ellie has had a hard life, but is blessed with an adorable son, Micah whose father turned his back on them and cut all ties. She is a trained farrier and blacksmith, an uncommon profession for women, and has the self-determination and will to succeed. Ellie's cousin, Sadie Remington is married to one of the six Remington men of Conroe, TX. Ryan Remington is half-brother to this family, the son of their father's first marriage. He wants a family and can't wait anymore, so he checks into surrogacy. Ellie and Ryan have noticed each other from the very first, but don't follow through with anything until the dance. The sparks not only fly, they burn, and Ellie and Ryan have a passionate night together. So hopeful for a family, Ryan knows that Ellie is the one, but she has a secret. Her pregnancy with Micah was difficult and left her unable to bear children. But there's hope because she froze her eggs and maybe the surrogacy can still move forward. Ryan and Ellie are a wonderful couple who, with communication and trust, build a relationship that is the kind to last. The issue of surrogacy was handled with a soft touch and the joy that can result. A truly captivating read!
What a wonderful story! I really liked this tale of a single mother with a 2 year old. Trying to make her way in a profession that’s usually a male dominated career. Ryan is the oldest brother of a huge ranch and oil company that He and his brothers run. Ryan and Ellie have so much chemistry with each other it’s off the charts. This book had some dark past secrets. The moral of the story is that Family comes in many different forms, Not just the traditional way. family love is unconditional. This was a great heartwarming book! I loved the laughter and the closeness that these characters in this story share. Not just the main characters but all of them! This story handles some very real life emotional issues with compassion and understanding. The hot steamy scenes and the HEA were awesome!! I would highly recommend this book for an enjoyable read. Congrats goes to JP Comeau on creating a really great book. Job well done!

Take one single mother, her son and an older cowboy who love them both, mix in a twist on a new baby and you have Cowboy's Tempting Neighbor. This standalone romance is book four in the Cowboy Billionaires series by J.P. Comeau.
Ryan is one of the Remington brothers that the series are based around. At 40 he wants a family, with no woman as his wife or girlfriend he decides to go the surrogacy route.
Ellen is the mother of Micah, her two year old son. With Micah's dad out if the picture, she struggles to support her son and comes to stay in the Remington guest house. It is very important to her to be able to support herself and her son with her blacksmithing business.
This book in the series each features a different brother finding love. These brothers tease each other as only brother do. They always makes me smile. Oh and have a tissue ready for the happily ever after.
This is the 4th story in the Cowboy Billionaire series. In this story we get to see what brought Ellie to town and how her cousin Sadie was her lifesaver! Ryan Remington and his brothers and golf brothers help run the family business and all get along in one big crazy family. When Ryan and Bryce compete against one another in the barrel racing His horse ends up losing their shoe and Ellie comes to his rescue and able to fix it. Ellie is a farrier and works at the Remington Ranch and lives in the guest house with her precious little boy, Micah. Ryan and Sadie have an attraction to one another this entire time but neither is ready to take the next step. Ryan takes the first step and takes Ellie out under false pretenses and once they leave the barn dance do things get serious between them. Ellie and Ryan both have secrets and past hurts but how they deal with them head on is just right! I wish we had for this ending and I’m curious to see what happens next! Right off the bat you could tell this was part of a series but didn’t really need to read the other works to know what was going on. The story line was separate from the overarching story line of the series, which was nice because this was the first book of the series I read. The characters had depth and the main female was trying to move on from her past, which she struggled with. The main male helped her overcome it. The story flowed smoothly and there were very little plot holes in my opinion. I could see myself reading this again along with the others in the series.
I give this a four out of five stars because although it can be read as a standalone from the series, I did struggle to keep some of the side characters straight and felt that if I had read the first one I would have understood who was who better. The plot was mostly seamless and what I found lacking wasn’t a major concern to the overall story.

OMG – Uncle Ryan finally got his story! This is about Ryan and Ellie. Ellie has been hurt by the one man she thought was her forever, until she told him she was pregnant. Now she is caring for Micah and trying to be the best blacksmiths there is, but thanks to the bad mouthing that her ex did, and being a woman, she is not having the best of luck. Ryan is a Remington and is there to win a championship and has been caught up with Ellie and her talent. The chemistry between the two is great and his importance has always been family, so seeing her as great as she is and being a single mom, is everything he wants. They end up hooking up, and ultimately dating, but Ryan is starting to work on something that he doesn’t know how she will take, but secrets are everywhere including with her. So when it all comes out can they both make this work? Thanks to all the surrogates out there! Okay who is next – Wyatt or Boone?

Ellie is trying to find a way to support herself and her son. Working as a blacksmith is what she does and she loves it so she is stunned when her business starts to pick up. Ryan and his family are billionaire ranchers. During a rodeo Ryan's horse loses its shoe and Ellie makes a quick repair on all of his shoes so Ryan can go back to compete. Sparks fly between them but Ellie is trying to stay a friend with him. Ryan wants to have a family of his own so he starts looking into a surrogate to help him achieve his goal. When things heat up between him and Ellie he knows that he needs to tell her about his plan for a family. Will his plan send her running? Can they see that they are meant to be together?
This is an amazing story about family and struggles. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a romantic and entertaining story with an intriguing storyline. Ryan is a part time barrel racer and a full time business man. Ellie is a single mother and a farrier. Ellie works for Ryan's brother, keeping his horses fit with shoes. Ryan and Ellie have been crushing on each other for months, but Ryan feels like he's too old for Ellie, and Ellie she's not good enough for Ryan. They finally spend time together at the ranch's barn dance, then spend a bit of time in the nearby woods. Ryan had just decided to hire a surrogate to start the family he wants, giving up on waiting for the right woman. That has him questioning whether or not it's fair to Ellie for him to pursue her. Ellie has her own private reason for not wanting to start a relationship with Ryan. They start and stop their relationship repeatedly, both of them wondering what the right thing to do is. There are amusing characters and situations throughout the book that balance the levity of the storyline. I really liked the storyline, it was so unique.
Ryan Remington along with is half-brother, Bryce Remington are competing in the barrel racing for the top five finalists to compete for the state championship league and when his horse through a shoe during his competition Ellie was the first one down on the ground to help. Ellie a cousin of Sadie is a farrier and she is working for the Remington brothers at the ranch. Ever since she saw Ryan she had a crush on him, but Ellie has been hurt and she afraid if she gets to close to Ryan he will hurt her too. The truth is Ryan has been wanting to get to know Ellie and he too have been hurt, but there is something different about Ellie that he is will to take the chance, if only Ellie would let him. Ryan and Ellie like a lot, but there is a secret both are keeping and is afraid to tell the other for fear it would be the end of their relationship, if they ever start to have a relationship. I am volunteering to leave a review of a ARC of this book.
This is a story that flowed from the very first page as you are further drawn into the world of these cowboy billionaires now we have left the original three brother (though they do visit) and are starting the stories of their half brother
Ryan Remington is a billionaire rancher who has spent all his time working on the ranch he had his heart broken by an ex so he doesn't really trust women at all but he does want a family so he has decided to go down the surrogacy route. At this time he also meets Ellie she is the cousin of Sadie who is married to one of his half brothers she lives in their guest cottage and uses their ranch as a base for her blacksmiths business. She is a single mother with a gorgeous two year old son Micah. Ryan is attracted to her but he is holding secrets as is she Can these two form a friendship and will it turn into more You will have to read to see
I really enjoyed reading Cowboy's Tempting Neighbor by J.P. Comeau because it was such a sweet and very steamy story about Ellie and Ryan. The both of them liked each other so much. But each was scared to act on it. Ellie had a son from a prior relationship and Ryan wanted to start a family. Ellie's character was very strong in this story. I liked that for her. I also wanted her to find her happy ending. Ryan was a bit older and wanted to start a family and he also wanted Ellie. Their story was slow to come together. They were so good together, I had hoped that it would work out for both of them. They both deserved happiness with each other. This book was so good and I highly recommend reading it and the series.

Beautiful and brilliant read. All the heart ache and pain Ellie has been through being a single mum and trying to get her business set up the last thing she needed was to crush in Ryan. Ryan from the first day he saw Ellie he loved her but never acted on it until two years later he wants his own family and looks at a surrogate mother for him getting his family but then Ellie and himself got together but when Ellie found about the surrogate she tried to walk away. Ryan eventually got Ellie to tell him what was up and why she couldn’t be with because she couldn’t have anymore children not after having Micah but as Ryan explained their is more than one way of having a family which he wants more than anything but would give it all up Ellie and Micah as they are his family now.
Fantastic book with all the feels and fun you can imagine
Cowboy's Tempting Neighbor is the fourth book in the Cowboy Billionaires series and is the story of Ryan and Ellie and also Ellie's two year old son Micah. I really loved this story as it has all the feels and heart you can want. I also loved Ellie as she is trying to make it in a traditionally male field of work, being a horse farrier and blacksmith. The story has family, drama, romance, fun, emotions, a lot of sexy chemistry and a whole lot more. This book is well written with a solid story-line that is wonderfully woven with well developed characters that you fall in love with. I really loved the book and can't wait to read the next in this series.

Ryan Remington goes home to Conroe from Dallas. He's ready to settle down and have a family. He decides he needs to start now so looks into finding a surrogate to have his baby. Money is no object, his brothers you never know or his very tempting neighbor may be too tempting. Ellie is the tempting neighbor. She is a farrier by trade, single mom, friends with his sister-in-laws and lives next door. They get drunk at a family barbeque, Ryan sees Ellie home and then they hook up. Neither can forget about the other, but each have their secrets, and Ellie is very protective of her son. You need to read their story to find out if they make it or break it. You will enjoy finding out.

A Truly Perfect Match - Ellie was a single mother, who was trying to make a life for her son and herself, after suffering a painful past. Ryan was a wealthy middle aged guy, who had prioritised work over having a family for most of his adult life. Their chemistry is evident to everyone around them, but they continue to dance around each other.
This is a well written story, which is emotional, steamy and heartwarming, but it will definitely pull on your heartstrings. I was totally enthralled whilst reading it and I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I highly recommend reading more from books this talented author.

Ellie is the blacksmith and farrier on the Remington Ranch and also single mom to her son Micah and she works from sunup to sundown to support herself and son. Ryan is the oldest single brother who is attracted to Ellie and is in the process of moving their family corporation from Dallas to Conroe. Ryan longs for a child of his own so he has decided to get a surrogate to carry his child. Ryan and Ellie go out and realize they both feel the same for each other but when she finds out he wants children that she can not give him because of her difficult birth caused her to have a hysterectomy so she starts turning him down only to find out he is already in the process of surrogate birth. I loved this story and the characters were perfect for each other it was sad to see the book end.
This is the 4th book for J.P.'s that I have read in this series. These books are amazing how she brings the previous characters into the storyline. She has never once left out what is important, and that is family, friends, and love. So this book also has left none of that out. Ryan is older than Ellen by quite a few years. Ryan wants what his younger brothers have, but having a family of his own isn't easy as he is messed up by his EX. But after meeting Ellen and the chemistry of these two share it is meant to be. Both have been scared Ellen has a 2-year-old Micha that she adores. So read this to find out if Ryan and Ellen make it to the family themselves.

The Remington men are still out breaking hearts and not even trying. Ryan, or old man as his brothers call him, is feeling the family urge but doesn’t know what to do about it. While his brothers are settling down he’s still working way too much. Rodeos and the oil refinery is keeping him busy. When he see Ellie, his world tilts on its axis and brings new problems to the table. Ellie is starting a new business and is the acting farrier for the brothers horses. Will these two allow anything to start between them or will they let life take over? This is a wonderful continuation of the Remington brothers and it shows the differences between them all.

Cowboy's Tempting Neighbor. This book continues the story of the Remington Brothers. This book is about the oldest brother Ryan. He becomes more attracted to Ellie, Sadie's cousin, who lives in the guest house of Bryce and Sadie after she was left pregnant and stranded by her ex boyfriend. Ellie is not sure if they can have a relationship because she feels she can't give Ryan what he wants more than anything in life. But Ryan sees it differently and is determined to win her over. *Spoilers* What a wonderful book!! I love how J. P. Comeau writes these stories. This is Book 4 of her Cowboy Billionaire series. I have loved them all!! In this book she focuses on the love story of Ryan Remington and Ellie, the farrier that works for the family providing services for their horses in trade for them keeping her as the family she is. The relationship between Ellie Ryan starts with a look. They both feel the immediate attraction but neither acts on it. Until Ryan goes for it and asks her out. She falls in love when he makes her aware of how he will welcome Micah into his family as his own. He falls in love when he realizes what a wonderful woman and mother Ellie is.

Ryan and Ellie yearn for the same thing, love and family. Ellie has been hurt to her very core by her Ex that abandoned her when she told him she was pregnant. Ellie is doing her best to be a single parent and build her smithy and ironworks business. She and Ryan are continually drawn to each other. Ryan really wants a family and takes steps to start his own. Ellie is hurt because she can't provide what Ryan wants. They have great chemistry and tons of family who keep pushing them together. This was a nice read.
