4⭐ Review 'The Vow'


I thoroughly enjoyed this read. This was the third book in the 'Em's Secret Series'. It was so nice to finally see the ending that both Emily and Rick deserved. These two characters have been through everything together, so I was extremely happy to see their future happiness in the last few chapters coming together.

This was a very emotional story for these characters I believe out of all the series. 

Past traumas and secrets kept hidden that were finally released from their heavy hearts. The burdens setting them free so that their future and minds be at ease but also celebrated. Owning mistakes and working to become a better person.

The maturity of this couple was remarkable. It takes a lot to walk away from the person you love most in the entire world, to work on yourself first, something now a days people don't do, but rush into relationships.

Emily is an amazing women. Career driven and with facing a pregnancy is not an easy future. The abusive relationship she got away from and the trauma she experienced. She would never give up, and I admire that greatly.

The interconnected storyline and plots coming together near the end was great, some I didn't see coming. The spice and the devoted love this couple have for each other is a true testament of their trust for each other and true love.

This is book #3 in the "Em's Secret" book series and is an excellent conclusion of Emily and Rick's story. Through all of the turmoil, stress, and healing from each of their past trials, they know that they love each other. With the impending opening of a case that may lead into a trial, involving Emily, she needs to keep herself calm because of her pregnancy. Rick needs to get himself in order if he hopes to win Emily back and to be a father for his child. I never saw the twist coming in what the author wrote into the story. The more I thought about it, it made sense. The three books in this series, are a wonderful read. This author captured how a person is shaped through their life experiences and the trials they face and need to come to terms with. Don't miss out on reading the other books in this series.

This was an amazing conclusion to this series. Rick and Em have been on an emotional roller coaster ride since the beginning of their relationship. The story is well written and the characters are easy to relate to. I couldn’t read the pages fast enough. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Start with The Beginning: Em’s secret... You won’t be disappointed.

Rick and Emily keep having issue after issue. I did not see the twist coming from within their family. There's lots of angst, heartbreak, joy, and love in this book, and the series. I thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy.
