Throughout the first book, I loved the story, it was tense, adventurous, dangerous and promesing. Well written. I listened to this book and loved the voice. But then the ending… I hate it when nothing is resolved and there is nothing to be happy about. The second book was also very good. But again a continued parade of of dangerous and tense moments, a bit too much for me. Then again very disappointed about the end of book 2. Actualy, it should not have been 3 separate books, but 3 parts. In the last book, everything came together and there was a proper ending, thankfully. I had a lot of trouble picturing the story and did not understand the choices that were made. I love blossoming relationships, but here it did nothing for me. I could not sense any attraction whatsoever. So on the whole I would say 4 stars if you like suspense.
I loved this trilogy. I only recently started reading reverse harem novels. This series has a bit of a twist to it, and as usual Lindsey introduces us to a protagonist who is extremely strong despite her difference that should make her more reliant on others. Great story throughout and I was quite sad when it came to a close
Full on fantasy series!! Very enjoyable and not what I was expecting when I picked it up. So glad I did though and devoured it till the end! This is a RH fantasy series with shifters.
