Sometimes the mantles we shun are the only ones that can keep us safe.
A hidden threat has risen and it’s up to me to stop it. But time isn’t on my side.
While war hovers on the horizon in the Underealm, I’m pulled into a pack issue I didn’t see coming.
Blood will be shed.
Lives will be lost.
I just hope my loved ones aren’t amongst the casualties.
A kickass Urban fantasy with a why choose romance. Vampires, ghosts, angels, and demons. Perfect for readers who enjoy forbidden romance, enemies to lovers, or friends to lovers.
Debbie Cassidy lives in England, Bedfordshire, with her three kids and very supportive husband. Coffee and chocolate biscuits are her writing fuels of choice, and she is still working on getting that perfect tower of solitude built in her back garden. Obsessed with building new worlds and reading about them, she spends her spare time daydreaming and conversing with the characters in her head. She writes Urban Fantasy, Romance, Fantasy and Reverse Harem Fantasy. All her books contain plenty of action, romance and twisty plots.
I miss them already. I can't believe this is the last book of this series. What a ride this has been! These characters feel like home. I love all of them. Such as excellent cast of characters and fabulous story telling.
Definitely a keeper series. I'm so happy about which guys made it into the harem. One is missing out, but I am really hoping he ends up with Cora.
I am so looking forward to Cora's adventures. I can't wait to see what happens with Jasper. Oh, and who else ends up with her. Please tell me that will be RH too!
I adore this series and every single thing Debbie Cassidy writes. She always dazzles me.
Highly recommend for fans of this genre of RH. Love it!
Everything is resolved a little too easily in this book. Lilith turns out to be vindictive as expected but she gave up her immorality readily to save Keon. I'd have expected her to be more selfish. It turns out that Cain just wanted to die, nothing else. All of the plotting and trying to kill Seraphina was just so that he could get rid of his mark and pass. That was much different and simpler than lead to believe from Eve's telling. Turns out that Eve wanted Seraphina to cuff Cain because as long as he lived, so did Eve.
I'm glad that Keon made his way into the fold at the end. I felt bad for him as we got to know him. He didn't want to murder Azazel's past girlfriends but a compulsion from Lilith meant he didn't always have a choice. Conah is strictly friend zone at this point which I found to be a little sad and disappointing given the chemistry and affection he had with Seraphina in the early books. Kiara's death aside, I'd have thought he and Seraphina would be okay later. Then again, she has six men so another might be that one too many. The other thing I was disappointed about was the limited amount of time Seraphina spent with Uriel. I'd have liked to see more of him.
Cora is the same fantastic character I've come to appreciate this series but I don't see how she doesn't understand Jasper. Portrayed as evil, he clearly has feelings for Cora and she him as much as she pretends to hate him. Jasper has come through for her time and again so in her series, I hope they end up together though I'm not interested enough to read her story.
A bit anticlimatic, the war felt a bit rushed, frankly. Still, the series was worth reading. It was fun and fast paced, the world was pretty well built, and although not the best UF out there, you clearly see the author's experience and style.
I’m kinda sad that I didn’t love the ending because I loved this story. The MC was incredible and the story line was so interesting and different. However I really don’t understand why the guy she had the biggest connection with didn’t end up with her? I would have rather her end up with the 3 originals guys if it meant more feeling and connection. Don’t get me wrong I like Koen and Grayson but I felt that towards the end the relationships were Meh. Maybe it was me but I really wanted her to get the ONE GUY she wanted from the beginning so in my head later on they went on that date and got together.
Additionally I loved Cora at the beginning but I felt like she was too involved in the story. I like to read from one POV and that could be it but I would have prefer to learn more about her later.
So yeah overall great story but the ending man hurts ... it felt incomplete 😞
This was an excellent final book in what has been a really strong series overall.
Lots of action, plot lines tied up neatly and relationship development.
I have to say that I am excited to read about Cora and Jasper, as I find their dynamic really intriguing.
Why not 5 stars? I think it comes down to a personal preference in that I am getting a bit burnt out by RH and keep craving a really good UF F/M book with excellent, slow burn relationship development. No matter how good an author is, relationship development with big harems is really hard to do to feel like every pairing has been given their time to cement the relationship. I think I kist wanted a little more from some of the relationships, but it would have been very difficult with everything else that was going on.
If you're fans of Debbie and of this series then you definitely won't be disappointed!
Oh man. I was not prepared. Mentally not physically. I cried like a baby for Fee. This story was a literal rollercoaster! So many things happen from page one you’re thrown so many different ways, but it never disappoints! Fee finally learns who has been causing the Tulpa’s that have been trying to kill her and boy was that a bomb drop. There are a lot of emotional bomb drops in this story. I was constantly sitting there gaping like a fish out of water while reading this. We have so much evil and big bad’s to face off against in this book- our girl and her group does NOT disappoint! Her mates, friends, and packs kick some serious asses! I mean literal non stop action but with a whole lot of loving for our girl thrown in too. Cause ya know we need the sexy scenes for Fee am I right!?
Seriously though, this was such an insanely amazing end to Fee’s story and I was in no way disappointed. It wrapped her story up with a pretty perky bow on top. I am so excited to jump into Cora’s story and see what our badass Tulpa can get herself into and still get to see Fee and her guys!
You should definitely DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR and pick this series up and read it. SO WORTH IT! One of my all time favorite!
I am not a huge fan of RH, but I do appreciate this author’s excellent writing with the other parts of a storyline and that is shown in this book. This is the final book in this series, and boy is it a doozy. It’s filled with action, plots, surprises, and yes even romance. Everything comes to a head, and I was left feeling very satisfied at the end of the book. There were many POVs in this one, and I really liked that we got to see action from different POVs. I know some don’t like that, but I think it makes a story more rounded. This was a great conclusion, and I look forward to more from this author. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
I really enjoyed this series BUT I gotta say I'm really bummed about Conah. Why didn't they explore their connection? I know his mate died, but he was in love with Fee as she was him. He even says something about how he knows how it feels to want something he can't have. But why couldn't he have her? She was willing, and she had enough love to go around. Him being the first one to make a connection with her I was really hoping he would become part of the harem. And Uri really got the short end of the stick, he got such a little amount of time with her. Yet he was always there at her beck and call, going places with her, doing anything she needed. Even Keon got more action than Uri did! I was really looking forward to more about him and his seraphim as well. That aside this series continued to keep me on my toes. Excited to start Cora's story.

Wow. I’m so fucking thrilled with how this series ended. I mean, the last few chapters alone put me through the ringer; I was not expecting to SOB the way I did in this book.
Needless to say, I bawled like a newborn infant fresh out the womb when Keon died. It was just SO believable and incredibly final in that moment. I felt my heart instantly shatter. The floodgates were opened. Fee tries to incinerate Lilith after this because it was ultimately her fault for making Keon try to kill Fee; which, he was about to carry out under Lilith’s compulsion and would have done, if she wasn’t about to die by another hand. He steps in to save Fee’s life and ultimately, gives up his own. Keon is my love, my absolute fucking favourite of all the guys and I would not, in any situation, be okay with him dying and/or not ending up in the harem.
Keon and Fee were inevitableand I knew it from the moment we met him and he was draped like a sexy assassin at the foot of Lilith’s thrown. It was so intense when Az found out about him and Fee, such drama I was practically drowning it in. Happily drowning, obviously. Ultimately, it’s their potential brotherly bond that brings Keon home at the end of the book; Az tells Keon he wants him to be part of their family and that he belongs with them; thus, admitting that Fee would not be whole without him. *quietly sobs uncontrollably* Last thing about FEEON, I could literally rave about them together forever), their first sex scene during the epilogue… I have no words. Well, maybe one:perfection. Hot damn that was without a doubt worth the wait and oh, so incredibly satisfying. His TAIL. That’s the gist.
I do feel like the execution of the multiple plot lines began in the earlier books as slightly rough and convoluted. It was initially getting confusing to keep track of the different “villains” and where everyone was at a certain point in time; especially, with the increasing multiple POV and with it being highly prevalent in this book, I found myself having to go back to their previous POV chapter to recall what they were doing before. Otherwise, I did really enjoy how things all come together in this book, uniting what we know about Cain, Mammon, the dread etc., with the backstories of Lilith, Samael, Adam, Eve, and Fee, among others.
I love that Uriel got his own little side quest, where he finds out that he’s actually the first Seraphimand their fucking general. He goes from being a lowly Grigori, to a confused man without a purpose, and ends up as The Lord of Death. Fucking badass revelation. I really enjoyed that twist and how it came at the absolutely perfect time.
The ending of this book was actually quite unexpected but in a very much pleasant way. I went from cursing Lilith’s name to actually respecting her in the end; she was a woman madly in love and let jealousy guide her choices, which ultimately, came to bite her in the ass. She wasn’t a true villain per se, just a powerful woman with a fuck ton of insecurities. She got her due in the end and it was fitting. I also had to kinda forgive her when she brought my baby Keon back from the dead y’a know? Her final act was to take out Mammon for what he did to her; she cursed him them both to an eternal slumber, his forever in agony and hers in peace.
Cain’s background was one of the more shocking ones. His story was quite tragic and I truly felt for him when we learned what Eve and Samael did. They made him immortal and Eve was siphoning off some of this juice for herself; thus, hoping to stay alive long enough for Samael to come back to her. Yeah, that’s not happening. Although, Samael is there to hold her while she withers away into nothing. Cain comes through as a big bro and gives his immortality mark to Fee, saving her from death at the end of the book (after she tries to fuck Lilith up with righteous fire when Keon dies), bringing her back from the brink and gifting her the immortality she deserves; meanwhile, Cain got the death he so desperately craved.
One thing I may never get over is WHY for the love of everything unholy did we have to watch Fee and Conah get their heartbroken and NOT end up together?? Like I get it, he wasn’t going to run into her arms after Kiara died but they definitely could have rekindled what they had. Like he fucking loved her and then all of a sudden they are friends and nothing else, the end???? Nope. Horrible. I can’t even tell you how delicious it would have been after the entire drama that occurred between them (I.e., him revealing he was engaged after falling for her), if they forged a new bond following Kiaras death. She was Fee’s friend too and they could have worked through it together instead of him fucking off for an ENTIRE BOOK. Yeah he was pissed at her but that makes for good drama. Don’t just bring him back randomly and now they’re friends and it’s all dandy. There was absolutely time for that bond to build and the groundwork was already there. Such wasted potential chemistry between them and I actually resent DC for teasing us with that kind of love, only to have it utterly fizzle out. Maybe I’m being a greedy whore but then why have him still around everyone, watching them love on the woman he loved. But, I fucking digress.
Either way, I had a fun time with this series and I especially look forward to reading Cora’s spin-off, Witch Unexpected. I NEED to see more of her and Jasper and wondering if she will get her own harem. Knowing Jasper, (which, we don’t even know what he is) I don’t think it’s likely but Cora is a tough bitch. Their hatred/attraction for each other is absolutely palpable and bound to be electric and completely consuming. Sign me the fuck up. She was also my fave compared to Fee, so I’m definitely excited to be in her head for a little while longer.
~4 stars~

Fee's long journey finally comes to a close, or at least a HEA with Reaper Unleashed, the 7th and final book in the Deadside Reapers Saga. All the threads that have been woven and dangled in the first 6 books find their closure here, wrapping up the questions, the mystery and the danger in an explosive climax that satisfies as much as it soothes.
As with many of Debbie Cassidy's works, not everything ends the way the romantic thinks it should.... hearts can't be forced and pain is pain, whether in reality or in fantasy. Such is the case in Fee's story, and while I won't spoil it, there is one face missing from the lineup I hoped to make it to the end with her. Perhaps, again like another of Cassidy's books, we might see an aftermath of this grouping, and another HEA - though part of me wants to leave it like it is.
For everything else? It's action, action, action from Page 1! Seen through multiple POVs, this slams through the events as they happen - because things are coming to a head quickly, for the pack, for the Reapers, Deadside, the Tulpas - ALL OF IT! And it's all hands on deck - and what a showing it is.
Well done and intense, this is another nail biter worth diving into. Next comes Cora's tale!
An epic finale to this adventurous, dramatic, and steamy RH series. Fee has her duties put aside, hopping from one quest to another, trying to save everything and everyone, but sometimes that's a huge challenge. With Cain being on the run with his own agenda in mind and the Supervamps in tow, Lilith being held captive by Mammon who wants to rule and dominate the Underealm, Uri searching for his true identity, the Tribus facing the threat from the Rogues, and Fee's feelings for Keon wreaking havoc among her men and even to Lilith... well, that's what I call a mess that is definitely hard to clean up. I could not wish for a better conclusion to Fee's story. All loose ends are now tied, with maybe some space left for speculations when it comes to certain characters ;) But Cora will get her own story (which I am impatiently waiting for), and the rest is up to the reader's dreams (yeah, I am targeting Conah, or the usual reaper business - running the academy etc.). The epilogue was really emotional, but so was the whole story, full of twists, surprises, and possibilities, tough decisions, and responsibility too big to be born by one person only. I loved the book, loved the characters, and enjoyed the whole journey with them .
Wow. What an end! It’s definitely a roller coaster! Fee and her guys end up fighting till the very end! Alot of twist and turns i didn’t see happening! Action, Action and more Action! Im glad she got her HEA..even if one of the original reapers ended on the “friend zone” list. Why? i have mix feelings on this. Here’s the thing about RH.. sometimes theres way to many love interests to actually feel the connection. At the beginning it was so much fun and getting to meet the guys and knowing them but then somehow new ones kept getting added i felt the connection diminished a little. When the Harem is less i feel we get more feelings, bromance and love. When its more it can be overwhelming and the spark i initially had with all of them i found it getting lower and lower. I loved all of them but i still thought she didn’t need to have all of them... idk 🤷🏽♀️. drama with some of the boys. then Fee has “the denial, pull and neglect with some”.. messy at times. Overall i think its a great series. Just be prepared for a huge harem. ♥️
This finale takes the cake!! It is so complex and packed full of action that you will be on the edge of your seat the entire time! It is set over multiple realms but it flows so well and blends seamlessly together. Debbie Cassidy manages to weave this tale in a perfectly magical way, you never feel lost and you are always in the loop!
There is so much going on to keep everyone happy: we have the team fighting to save Lilith, major drama happening in the packs, the mysterious Uri gets more answers, Cain's re-awakening, and just the normal battle to stay alive and together.
Expect some major bombshells in this finale and there will be a tear or two (or more!). Overall this book delivers a wonderful story and brings it to a close perfectly. There are no questions left unanswered and everyone is covered. There are so many great things about this book but I don't want to spoil it! Take my advice and read it now- if you haven't started the series yet- what are you waiting for?!
This truly is a great series that is so addictive you will not be able to put it down! An exciting kickass Urban fantasy that is full of Vampires, ghosts, angels, and demons all set in this incredible world built by the author. The storyline has just grown as have the characters and this final book is just totally badass! So jump on this rollercoaster ride full of emotions and action, forbidden romance, great characters and a kick ass finale, you will not be disappointed and I am so excited to read Coras story!
I thought this was an amazing end to the series. I am definitely going to miss these characters. Such a detailed and beautiful world. I love Fee and her connection with all of her guys and also her connection with Cora - I love how close they are and can't wait to dive in to Cora's story. I was a little sad to see Conah not brought back in the mix but I would have picked Keon anyways so not too tore up about it. Great series!!

I have enjoyed this series so much. There are some things that feel unfinished. The first problem is that I don't feel any closure between Keon and Lilith. The second issue is that I don't see Uriel after the battle. Lastly, I wanted to see how the happy ending was for everyone. I do like that it sets up Cora's story though. Her's is just beginning.
This finale is so complex as its set over multiple realms but Debbie has taken the time to cover everything fully and hasnt skimped anywhere and i believe this is one of her longest books to date because if this. There is so much action as the team fight to save Lilith - Drama's in the Packs, Revalations for Uri. Will Lilith give the Kill order for Keon to kill Fee? Expects some bomshell shockers and expect to shed a tear or two how ever there is also elation and hope. i dont want to give anything away but lets just say that this book is so full of action and answers all the outstanding questions and concludes the series so well whist opening the door for Cora's series to start so am sure we will see snippets of Fee and her men as Besties are for life!
What a great ending to this series. Love how everything ended for Fee and her men. Some great surprise twists in this book. Definitely puts you through the emotions. Absolutely love Cora. She is amazing and I can't wait to read her story.
What a beautiful amazing series!! It ended so much better than I could have imagined. I loved all the chaos and suspense and adventures this last book provided. I was on the edge of my seat a few times. It was bloody brilliant. I’m beyond happy with the men that were blessed to be in fees harem as well. Bravo
The thing was book one was a decent set up, and while I am not a fan of series plots that get dragged out I was willing to try it.
By book two everything was just getting convoluted and ridiculous. Every time someone turned around something new was happening there was some new threat, the love interests were banging other ppl who ultimately gave nothing to the plot or very little.
Each book was just a series of crisis, crisis, banging in weird minor slumps, crisis, crisis, crisis, and convoluted resolution.
Honestly, fiction means unbelievable things and paranormal means magical mayhem but the reader still has to be able to suspend their disbelief, timelines, plots, and character growth has to make sense and that’s what this series didn’t do.
It didn’t make sense. I couldn’t suspend my disbelief because anyone under this constant threat and stress wouldn’t be able to sustain functionality. And every resolution was convenient but didn’t really do anything to drive a greater series arc it was just underwhelming and contrived.
I wanted to be impressed, I wanted to get behind this, but so much wasn’t resolved and sure it might be in books set up to follow other characters but honestly I doubt it. This author just threw everything at the wall to see what would stick. I could never suffer through a series like this again. I wasn’t even connected to the characters, multiple almost die and nothing I didn’t care one way or the other. And to the point I was bored skipping passages that really didn’t matter at all dialogue etc.
The entire worlds were wrecked, the system by which they governed and the souls they were supposedly charged with were never dealt with. The aftermath of everything wasn’t how things changed, the work to rebuild, their new purposes, it was oh six men, a blip commitment ceremony, an endless sleep, a monarch death and nothing….
Seven books that essentially lost the path of the first. It’s hard to like a series that falls off focus and has more loose ends than I can even fathom.
Idk read the series if you want, I suffered through thinking there’d be some clear resolutions but honestly this was a waste of time I won’t get back.
Things were tied up a bit too easily and quickly, IMO. I was expecting more challenges and a totally different ending/battle with Cain and Lilith. The buildup and stories from Eve made it seem as if there'd be a bigger fight. I enjoyed this series overall; I'm still deciding if I'll jump into Cora's spin-off starting with Witch Unexpected. (✮✮✮½)
Things didn’t make sense. We did this whole bit about the tails and they meant nothing. There was a build up of this “new” army, but it went so quick. She had something he wanted, but it was too easy. The ending was just rushed.
And by the end, too many men vying for her attention. Her being Loup did nothing at the end... her pack stuff wasn’t tied up nicely because we needed to read about the dominion stuff. Just too quickly done for the build up created by the other books.
So lets start with the plot yeah? Ight so I saw a lot of comments on the earlier books about how there were like ten different plots.. there were. And that was important, it wasn't meant to be confusing and to me I didn't think it was. I think you'd need to be able to take in a great amount of information to be able to keep up with this story but all the information for a seamless read is there. And all the different plot lines were extremely important to the ending. I heavily enjoyed the mixed plot lines, it was nice and I get distracted easily so this was ADHD heaven for me, because the plot was never really the same between chapters. It was magnificent and if I wanted children I'd give my first born to be able to reread this series for the first time again.
The characters. Holy fuck was there a lot of depth to these characters. I just need to get my thoughts in order for this so ima just go through the main characters. (Some aren't main characters but still important) Conah- You really meet him first. Honestly I realized quite quickly that Fee wasn't meant for him, I mean it was too simple, with this many books.. hardly likely the first "interest" was gonna really exist. I was devastated for him though. I mean come on.. shit ripped my heart out. I knew why he blamed himself and why he was angry and I'm glad he didn't try to pursue a relationship with Fee after that. But you don't really get a whole lot of depth of his character he seems like a main character but he really doesn't turn out to be.
Mal- FUCKING MAL. I loved Mal, he was a top five of my favorites. He was beautiful and broken and I loved his back story and the curse and why he was the way he was. I loved how he responded and how he just got more open to showing his emotions even though it was incredibly hard for him to do so.
Azazeal- Alright.. there's so much here. I mean the man went through so fucking much it was heart breaking. His own fucking mother man.. he gave up his sight for a girl he loved and THEN SHE WAS A BITCH and still it should have been his decision and his mom was just a bitch. Hated her through the entire thing, no redeemable qualities. it was beautiful to watch him evolve even with all the shit he was facing.
Grayson- Damn this man went through some shit. I mean having Fee's Loup pick Hunter first.. that was just DAMN. But I loved him, even his grumpy asshole moments where he was possessive and a douchebag he was still an excellent character. I disliked how little of his back story was really there and he really seemed like a fall character to include with the plot so that the Tribus was completed but Hunter was the main part of it.
Hunter- Alright so.. I understand. I don't mean like the kidnapping and shit but the man was not loved.. like ever, he had a voice in his head saying not to trust anyone and I mean, who can't relate to the voice in his head. I loved watching him build and break down and build again. He severely needed the love and family Fee offered to him and I'm glad he found it.
Uriel- OKAY huge plot twist on him being Seraphim, I mean seriously man, never saw that shit coming. I loved all the shit he went through, I mean he was literally the favorite child. Man had so much taken and then even more given back and deserved every damn bit of it. His story was a bit muddy for me but I wasn't as interested in him so that makes sense.
Fee- BITCH WAS BADASS and that's it. I mean seriously, she was fucking badass. There's nothing I can say besides that, that'll give you any clue as to how AMAZING of a FMC she is. As well as Cora, bitch was also badass.
Now to my favorite character. My favorite of the harem. My favorite over fucking all. Keon- HOT DAMN. Alright we all know this man was hot as fuck, seriously. Even still being the queens blade??? HOT (Also she's a BITCH if you didn't catch that the first time) and I loved him with every fiber of my being. He was broken.. so damn broken. But even with a spell compulsion he literally couldn't break he still moved in front of the damn knife to save Fee. I loved him so so much. His story, him finding his brother. THE KNIFE PLAY. anyways, if for no other reason, he's worth all five stars.
I wish so god damn much there was.. more. I mean I get it okay I do. "Kenneth it's seven damn full sized novels. It took days to read them." And listen I UNDERSTAND, but I would read this world building for YEARS it was perfect I'd never get tired of it. I've non-stop read this series until I finished it I forgot to eat for two fucking days because I refused to put these down man. It's god damn Oscar worthy and as soon as I get the god damn money im buying hard copies of it. I've NEVER found a series so.. enthralling. It was perfection. Actual writers perfection. My brain is throughly itched in all the right places and I can die peacefully now. Thank you.
