Tris and I are mated, mostly. But Samson still won’t budge. He’s the most obstinate man I’ve ever met, but that doesn’t stop from wanting him. I won’t give up on him, no matter how hard he tries to push me away. I knew him first, but Tris made the first move.
Not to mention, someone is stalking our pack. They already kidnapped two girls, but it seems like they are out for some kind of vengeance. Not if I have my way. I would give me life for my pack and I might just have to.
Grandma is coming to visit, soon, and promises to share all the lore of our family, and I can only hope it will answer so many of the questions hanging over me and the pack as well. We keep getting targeted, and if Samson spends all his time rescuing pack members, it’s not looking good for our relationship. Or our pack! How many more lives will be lost?

This was consistent to the prior books but I just think my reading tastes have changed since I began the series back in September 2020. To be honest after Book 1, I should have skipped out but there were only 100 or so pages each… which led me to read the entire series, even this Christmas filler book.
This has already been longer than I meant for this review to be. Long story short, Samson pissed me off big time. He was such an ass and he treated Christie like shit because she was mad at his identical twin and her other mate, Tris . Samson is the alpha of the Adler pack so he well versed in how the f*ck mate bonds work… he needs to get with the program and stop being an ass.
Overall, 2.5 stars .

This book 6 in the Shifters of Consequence Series is a very well written story in the series with characters that are strong, have depth and evolve as the series evolve. This is not a stand-alone book, but has 8 interesting and connected stories with well crafted characters. This story has action, adventure, twists/turns, and a romance that has more than 2 lovers.
Tether is the 5th book in a paranormal reverse harem shifter series featuring members of the Midnight Alder Pack. This is the second volume of Christie’s story. It is a why choose werewolf romance with a slow burn buildup sure to make your toes curl. Their relationships develop over the course of this supernatural series and ends with an HEA

A great continuation
Nothing new to say, really, it's continuing the storyline of the series along! It's driving me crazy that Alpha Samson is being such a pain in the rear, but I mean, you get that in a lot of shifter romances! It just kind of reminds you that guys can be difficult sometimes! 😂 (Not that we women can't be, too!)
Young women continue to go missing, but thanks to Christie's grandmother and a clue, they think they finally know who's responsible! Though, even with this information, it's like hunting for a ghost. How can one hunt someone when they don't know what they look like, where they are, or how they're doing what they're doing?

Series good
Still have issues with editing and continuity. The number of girls taken is inconsistent with past books and in one part she says Tris wasnt home yet but very next page she mentions him in the house. If these issues were taken care of and Gigi would quit being so cryptic, the story would def be a 5

Nooooooo!!! I wanted more answers but they are slow in coming. Christie's Grandma, Gigi, arrives and she is something else. I love her spirited personality. Gigi has some helpful insights but I was hoping she would reveal more in this book. Samson continues to be hot and cold around Christie and has to deal with her and Tris being mated already. Tris is frustrated the Samson keeps calling Christie back for pack meetings and for how Samson is treating Christie. If Samson ever gets his head out of his rear end, the relationship with the three of them will be explosive. One more step is taken forward but we'll have to wait for the next book to get more answers.

The story of Christie is continuing. She is mated to one of her mates, but the alpha is still fighting it. Girls are still going missing and they are all Christie's age. Gigi has show up at Christie and tells a few tales. Can those tales help? Will Sampson ever mate with her? Can Tris and Sampson ever bond again? Will they find out who is stealing the girls? Will her mates keep her safe or will she get taken too?

In the sixth book of Shifters of Consequence the focus is on Samson trying to make up his mind to mate with Christie, hesitating because he cannot have her on his own, as she is already mated to Tris.
Intertwined into his struggles is the continuous disappearance of girls Christie's age.
A twisted story of the difficulties of ménage dynamics and the mystery of the disappearing girls.
Well-written and engaging, a nice continuation of the previous bools om the series.

Much of the focus on this book seems to be Samson’s delay in mating with Christie. He is uncomfortable about Christie and Tris already being mated. Tris is also frustrated by the way Samson treats Christie. Everyone is waiting for Samson to make his move. Are we any closer?
There is also the issue of someone kidnapping females from the pack. If the pack is being specifically targeted by a stalker, who is doing this? Will Samson track down the perpetrator?

Tether: A Shifter of Consequence Tale (Shifters of Consequence Book 6) by Mazzy J. March is a fantastic story that I have had the privilege to read and give an honest review on. This is book number six in this fantastic series that I am so hooked on and I can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about reverse harems, wolf shifters and paranormal romance.

In this book we delve more into Christie, Tris and Samson. We see things with the pack also take on many twists with the help of Gigi Christie's grandmother, more things come to light about what is happening.
With many trials between Christie and her mates what will happen when who ever is taking the girls comes back. Only way to find out is picking up today

Great storyline and descriptive content is ...
Enough to keep your attention. What fall flat and needs more is the romance part of stories. The heat and bedroom scenes don't match the stories desperation of being with their mate. I have read Urban Academy and now the Consequence Series and enjoyed them. That is why I'm given 4 stars

The plot thickens between the alpha and her and also girls are disappearing from the pack. The characters are coming along together nicely and I loved how the love is forming

Very enjoyable great reading
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters. I can't wait to see what will happen next for them since the alpha wants them in his home now with everything that is happening with the girls disappearing.

It’s easy to enjoy well written and developed PNR storylines and this one is great. I loved the characters they are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is undeniable.

Well at lest one of the guys is willing to step up and take responsibility and move past things. Now if the other one can get out of the past and look towards the future! I am not 100% sure that I trust her college friend, but I'm glad she is making other friends.

Wow!!
This series is so good. I'm getting more and more excited every time I read a new book! There is danger all around, with young girls being kidnapped and an old raptor shifter coming into play. Excellent writing and a phenomenal plot. Looking forward to book seven.

Christie still can't figure out how ger family is connected to Wendi's and what that has to do with the young women from her pack being taken. It is all tethered together but still not sure how. Will she get her 2 mates to calm down and finally join together ?
