I love that this volume lets us see a broader view of the terrible event that took place 14 years ago, and I was shocked that everything stems back to Nagumo. Her blood definitely awakened something in that shadow's body that it proceeded to kill living things and unfortunately, the lost Ryunosuke. And damn, poor Nezu on the lookout! Such a relief that they finally gathered the others and enlightened them about Doom's Day though. And mostly, I'm curious about Alan's whereabouts! Shide-sama and Haine definitely took hostage the poor old man since he cannot be copied anymore (or am I right, since Nagumo killed his shadow back then and he's already immune.)

This volume is more information than action, focused on Hizuru’s past, 14 years ago. We also somewhat learn more about Heine and an unsuspected ability which puts even more pressure on Shin and the time he has left.

Nov. 22 2021: We're coming close to the final arc. With both Haine and Four Arms able to loop, things are definitely going to be more fast paced. I finally figured out what the series reminded me of, too. The Groundhog Day was obvious, but that was just a plot device. The actual writing and tone reminds me so much more of Stranger Things. I'm now really looking forward to the anime whenever that comes out. This series is top notch.
Aug. 24 2022: The developments of this volume set the tone perfectly for the rest of the series. It's no longer just a mystery with an invincible main character. It's a race against time. Shinpei can actually die and Heine knows it. The entire rest of Summertime Rendering is driven by this fear and dread of Shinpei running out of loops, and it all starts here.

It's 5am right now, I'm tired as hell but these origin stories got me hoooked!!
I'm so glad we get to see a bit of Hizuru's childhood and Ryuunosuke. Younger Haine was so pure and innocent it's so off-putting.
I'm very worried about the next loop though
Anyway, very excited for more!

Oh man, der Anfang dieses Bandes schlägt einem ja gleich die Hoffnungslosigkeit ins Gesicht.
Shinpei, macht das nichts mit deiner Psyche, dass du ständig stirbst? Aaaaah.
Die Zeitschleifen werden immer prekärer und rücken immer näher an das apokalyptische Sommerfest. Mehr Vergangenheit von Frau Hizuru Nagumo ist zu sehen - ihre Verbindung zu Heine ist unfassbar tragisch. Die "Plage der Schatten" wirkte schon in den vorigen Bänden kaum abwendbar. Bin sehr gespannt, wie es in den 6 Folgebänden weitergeht. :3
Ich glaube, dieser Band ist der mit dem wenigsten Fan-Service, yay. ;) Braucht diese gute Geschichte nämlich null. Thx for that.

Są pewne serie, które im bardziej zbliżają się do swojego końca, tym mocniej potrafią angażować i zachwycać czytelnika. Do tego grona zalicza się manga Summer time rendering. Historia, w której kiedy myślisz, że wiesz już jak rozwinie się fabuła, ta wtedy dokonuje zaskakującego zwrotu i pogrąża cię w odmętach mroku i niepewności, tak właśnie jest w przypadku siódmej odsłony cyklu.
W Summer time rendering tom 7 główny bohater serii (Shinpei) rozumie, że jego moc jest jedyną siłą zagrażającą cieniom. Zamierza on ją wykorzystać, aby ostatecznie położyć kres okrucieństwu na wyspie. Oczywiście nie jest to łatwe, tym bardziej że przeciwnik nie ma zamiaru czekać bezczynnie i sam podejmuje pewne niebezpieczne dla grupy działania. Dla czytelnika oznacza to nic innego jak sowitą dawkę akcji, gdzie nigdy nie można być pewnym, co wydarzy się na kolejnej stronie. Tom ten pozwala także pogłębić wiedzę o Hizuru i zagłębić się bezpośrednio w jej przeszłość. Ukazana retrospekcja rzuca więc więcej światła na całą sytuację, nadal jednak pozostawiając dużą część historii skąpaną w mroku tajemnicy.
Autor serii od samego początku lubi bawić się niedopowiedzeniami i tym samym trzymać czytelnika w fabularnej niepewności. Siódma odsłona trochę w tym schemacie zmienia. Znacznie większą uwagę twórca poświęca na przedstawianie nowych informacji niż na samą czystą akcję (której jednak nie brakuje). Nie należy jednak liczyć na klarowne odpowiedzi na nurtujące odbiorcę pytania. Nadal są to tylko strzępy faktów, z których należy ułożyć samemu większy obraz całości, zaprzęgając do tego własną wyobraźnię. Owe Sekrety w połączeniu z wyrazistą, surową i wszechobecną przemocą tworzą rytmiczną opowieść, od której naprawdę trudno jest się oderwać.
Doskonałym dodatkiem do całości kolejny raz są również rysunki. Grafika Tanaki to urzekające połączenie surowości i wyrazistości. Zarówno rozplanowanie paneli, jak i samo cieniowanie tworzy niesamowicie klimatyczną atmosferę mangi, mocno udzielającą się czytelnikowi....

The 7th volume and things are getting even more scary as we learn that Haine and that four-armed-shadow... also have some powers that fuck things up a lot for Shinpei and the crew! I was shocked at that, it is already hard to find a solution.. and I wonder if they will be able to do it now.
Plus, we go inside Hizuru's memories, see her meet with Haine, see what happened to her brother and more! It was a 100% interesting couple of chapters to read and I am so glad that it was added. It brings us some more light on what happened and some more puzzle pieces on Haine! And then it is time for the next loop and I love the plan. I do wonder how this one will end. I mean, we are about halfway through now, so there is still enough to come and I wonder how gruesome and dangerous it will become. On the one hand I am looking forward to the ending, on the other hand I don't want all that death and all those loops. :(

Damn poor Ryunnosuke didn't stand a chance. We got some of Heine's backstory and it looks likes there is more to this villain. I like the fact that they are also looping. The stakes have risen even higher.

It's good to finally get a bit more of the background story. I think at this point the story does get a bit convoluted, but I'm hoping for a satisfying ending.

Empecé anoche y lo terminé esta mañana.
Me encanta la historia de Hizuru!!! Icónica guapa lista reina. Y también me da mucha pena. Los dibujos son maravillosos como en todos los tomos y la historia te engancha. La narrativa es intrigante y como siempre con ganas de devorar el siguiente, a ver qué es lo que pasa.
