नाम सम्बन्धहरू भएपनि पुस्तकभित्रको गुदी पूर्ण रुपमा सम्बन्धहरूमा केन्द्रित छैन । जसरी बाहिरी पृष्ठमा माला उन्दै गरेको जस्तो तस्बिर र सम्बन्धहरू नामले पुस्तकले सम्बन्धहरू कसरी उनेर राख्ने भन्ने खालको सन्देश दिन्छ, त्यसरी भित्र पाइन्न ।
हुन त पुस्तकमा स्त्री र पुरूष शिर्षकमो एउटा अध्याय नै नभएको होइन, जहाँ स्त्री पुरूषको सम्बन्धबारे चर्चा गरिएको छ । त्यस्तै मित्रहरूबिचको सम्बन्ध, आमा-बुबा र सन्तान बिचको सम्बन्ध बारे पनि बेलाबेलामा चर्चा भइरहन्छ । त्यति मात्र नभएर तन-मनको सम्बन्ध, देश, जनता, नेता, कार्यकर्ता, सञ्चारमाध्यम, मालिक, कामदार, आदी इत्यादी बिचको सम्बन्ध बारे पनि चर्चा परिचर्चा यत्रतत्र नभएका भने होइन ।
तर पनि जसरी बाहिरी खोलले दिने एउटा अपेक्षा वा आशा हुन्छ, त्यो किताब भित्र फ्याट्ट फेला पार्न मुस्किल छ ।लेखकको अन्य क्रियाकलापलाई परतिरै राखेर किताबबाट केही लिन कोसिस गर्ने हो भने किताबले धेरै कुरा दिन खोजेको छ, लिन योग्य धेरै कुरा किताबले समेटेको छ । औसतभन्दा माथि छ ।

विजय कुमार सरको पहिलो पुस्तक, खुशीको तुलनामा यो दोष्रो पुस्तक, सम्बन्धहरू राम्रो लाग्यो। यस पुस्तकमा दुई व्यक्तीहरू बीचको सम्बन्ध जस्तो स्त्री र पुरूष बीच वा दुई मित्रहरू बीच वा आमा-बुवा र सन्तान बीचका सम्बन्धहरू मात्र नभई मन-मस्तिस्क र शरीर संगको सम्बन्ध, देश र जनता अनि नेता र जनता बीचको साथै मिडिया र हामी बीचको सम्बन्धहरूको पनि चर्चा गरिएको छ। जिन्दगीको परिभाषा भिन्न च्याप्टरमा भिन्न तरीकाले दिइएको छ। मान्ने हो भने आखिर जीवनलाई हामी जसरी हेर्छौं वा जिउने कोसिस गर्छौं जीवनको परिभाषा त्यही बनिदिन्छ।
मलाई ‘नकाब’ र ‘बालै फरर’ भन्ने अध्याय अति मन पर्यो।:))
सोसियल मिडियाको बारेमा लेखिएका कुराहरूले चाहीँनकरात्मक भाव धेरै देखाएको छ। यस पुस्तकमा समाहित व्यक्तीहरू काल्पनिक हुन् या यो पुस्तक साँचो घटनामा आधारीत हो थाहा छैन तर यहाँ समावेश गरिएका संवादहरूले हरेक कथा सुन्दर बनाएको छ।

विजयकुमारको बहुप्रतिक्षित पुस्तक सम्बन्धहरु सायद यस दशैमा सबैभन्दा पढिनेछ। खुसी पछि आएको सम्बन्धहरु उनको व्यक्तिगत अनुभव हो। यसमा बौद्ध दर्शन, स्व महत्व, नेपाली समाजका पाखण्डी आदर्श, सन्तान सुख लगायत धेरै पठनीय विषय छन्। पुस्तकको भाषा सरल छ तर भाव गहिरो र गम्भीर छ। मलाई योगिनिसँगको संवाद विशेष लाग्यो। लेखकले आफ्नो मनमा उठेका विचारलाई कुनै प्रसाधन नगरी सच्चा रूपमा प्रस्तुत गरेका छन। विजयकुमार मलाई मनपर्ने पत्रकार हुन, तर उनी आफै पत्रकारको परिचयमा सन्तुष्ट छैन। समग्रमा पुस्तक राम्रो र गहिरो छ।

यो पुस्तक मैले पुर्वाग्रह सहित पढेको थिएँ - विजय कुमारले आफ्नो बारेमा धेरै गफ गर्छन् भन्ने पुर्वाग्रहका साथ, यति हुँदा पनि किताब रमाइलो लाग्यो । पढ्दै गर्दा जीवनसम्बन्धी प्रश्नहरूले बारबार जवाफमो माग गरिरहन्छन् ।

I recently read सम्बन्धहरु (Relationships), and while the author’s writing style deserves acknowledgment, much of the content felt exaggerated. In several parts, it seemed the author was more focused on showcasing a sense of superiority than telling a meaningful story-often using an avalanche of words where fewer would suffice.

One particular section recounts an interview with Amitabh Bachchan. I distinctly remember the incident making headlines-Bachchan had scolded the author with, “You don’t know English,” after being asked a question in Hindi. Surprisingly, the author has drawn a positive takeaway from that unpleasant encounter and included it in the book, which is a commendable perspective.

However, many parts of the book feel weighed down by unnecessary elaboration, seemingly added more to flaunt writing flair than to serve the narrative. This tendency to repeat ideas in a circular fashion turns what begins as an intriguing read into something rather tedious. I kept going only because I had paid for it-otherwise, I might have stopped halfway.

To me, the author’s talents might be better suited to fiction. Memoirs and travelogues require a delicate balance of insight and restraint, which only a few authors manage well-and, frankly, Vijay Kumar doesn’t quite make that list.

If you happen to borrow the book from a friend and have ample time, go ahead. But if you’re looking for something truly engaging, this one might be worth skipping

उसो त गैर आख्यानमा विशेष रुचि छ नै अझ त्यसमाथि विजय कुमारको नयाँ उपन्यास आउँदा कति छिटो पढ्न पाइएला भन्ने मनमा हुटहुटि जागिरहने....
लकडाउन हुनु अगावै छापिएको पुस्तक त्यसवेला कारणवश पढ्न पाइएन । आज भर्खरै पढेर सकाए।
" खुशी " मैले औधी रुचाएको कृति हो र मलाइ " सम्बन्धहरु " पुस्तक पढ्न झर्को मान्नुपर्ने कारण नै के थियो र !
सम्बन्धहरु एक यस्तो पुस्तक हो जसमा लेखकले आफ्नो जिवनमा घटेका घटनालाइ सबिस्तार बर्णन गरेका छन, ज्यादै शुद्ध र सरल भाषामा । ति भाषामा साहित्यको रस हामी मज्जाले लिन सक्छौं ।
सुम्निमा, नतालिया र आकाशले यो पुस्तकमा जुन स्थान ओगटेका छन र हामी पाठक हरु लाइ केहि कुरा उधृत गरिरहेका त्यो नै यो पुस्तक सुन्दर पक्ष हो।
"सन्तान -२" पढ्दा गज्जबको अनुभुति भयो।
सामाजिक संजालको बारेमा पनि यो पुस्तकमा पाउन सकिन्छ जुन ज्यादै चाखलाग्दो रहेको छ।
घरि घरि केहि वाक्य हरु दोहोरिएको पाउदा अलि झर्को लाग्ने खालको हुन सक्छ यद्यपि ति वाक्यहरु प्रसङ्गबस दोहोरिइरहेका थिए।
यो कृति पढेर आनन्द त आउँछ नै र धेरै थोक सिक्न पनि पाइनेछ।

This book is a journey of realisation and wisdom, I would say.
Best lines I got in this book: गलत र सहि भन्दापनि पृथ्वीका अंग हुन्।
This line was enough to teach me to be grounded and fulfill my duties, as we all are temporary, no need to judge anyone on trivial things, and we are nothing even if we consider ourselves as something. There are lot of stories related to the author. Also has a slight touch of buddhism, where he constantly talks about Namkha rinpoche but this book is not about religion as I said this is about the wisdom of life and realisation.

उल्लेख गरेका विषयवस्तु नौलो कुनै पनि लागेन मलाई, बिभिन्न लेखक, दार्शनिक, कलाकार हरुले धेरै चोटि ब्याख्या गरिसकेका छन्। तर पनि प्रस्तुति नौलो किसिमको वा चाख लाग्दो होला भन्ने अपेक्षा थियो पहिलो अध्याय पछि, तर अन्तिम सम्म त्यो पाएन। सतही कुरा गर्नकै निम्ति त कुनै टेलिभिजन/रेडियो कार्यक्रम गरेको भएपनि हुन्थ्यो, किताब पढ्नु भनेको मेरो लागि आफै भित्र गहिरो बैचारिक अन्तर्द्वन्दमा जानू पनि हो। त्यसो हुन नसक्दा एकदम फिक्का महसुस भयो ���लाई।

As being a woman, the best thing that I found about this book is that the author has explained his relationships with different people, almost women and the lessons he learnt from them.

In the male dominant society such as ours, men don't even consider the opinions of women let alone write about them.

At the end of the book, the author said that his next book would be out within a year. Maybe he was saying it would come out a year after I finished it or maybe someone else who will read it in the future finishes it. I liked the book as much as his previous book. If he comes up with another book, I might buy it too and read it too.
