Spoilers by John Stamp is a fast paced, thought provoking, convoluted tale of a tough cop and his squad taking on corruption in high places. This story will make you think and leave you wrung out. Highly recommend.
Met the author at a new book shop not far from home and bought this one and its sequel. Read this one in a day! Love the characters and it’s wild to imagine everything described in an area I’ve lived in for the past 16 years. Stamp’s experience in the field he writes about are prevalent, but not so much so that the reader gets bored or doesn’t understand. When you live in the South amongst the good ole’ boy system laced with pluf-mud accents, it’s not a stretch to imagine crooked politicians, drugs, and blackmail. Looking forward to the next one in this series and all of his others! Great guy and a great writer! Glad I got to meet him and buy a couple of his books in person!
I've read every book John Stamp has written other then the next one in this series. This one is by far the best. I could not put it down. It was worth the sleepless night. I can't wait to read the next one.
Mr. Stamp writes in a way that I find both authentic and realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and now look forward to exploring Charleston, and reading more John Stamp books.
