A long time ago I gave my heart to a boy, but he never knew. Instead of facing my fear and risking embarrassment, I chose someone else. But he was always there; in my dreams, in my nightmares - haunting my every move.

When I moved away I thought it would all be over, but it wasn’t, and I fell right back into Bradley’s arms. When he rejected me everything came crashing down, and I found myself in a danger I never even considered.

Maddox, my hero, whisks me away to Switzerland to give me time. Time to heal and figure out what I need.

I never imagined the boy from so many years ago would appear, or that I would find myself wishing he would wreck me in all the rights ways.

I know I should swear off from all things Harkwright! But how do you make your heart listen to sense when it’s faced with the one thing it has always wanted?

35k novella book 2.5 in the Harkwright Trilogy.

B.C. Morgan lives in England with her amazing fella, their twin devils (also called kids), and their pets. She’s a lover of all things creative from baking to drawing, if it’s creative she’ll give it a go. For someone who claims to not like people, she somehow always manages to surround herself with friends and family.

While B.C. loves bringing life to all the voices in her head, who demands she tells the world their story, she sometimes wishes they were less homicidal. But alas, what’s a poor author to do when death and destruction is being demanded?! To be fair it isn’t really surprising B.C.’s characters are acting like that, considering she has a list with everyone who’s wronged her. It started with the tooth fairy who didn’t pay for her teeth.

This Novella is the perfect addition to The Harkwright Trilogy. I am happy to get to know Daria, Lunas best friend at the academy, better. After having feelings since her childhood for Jake they finally found a way to be together. The have great chemistry and fit perfectly together. Can‘t wait to see how their relationship develop in the last book.
Again i fall more in love with Maddox. He is such a kind and caring person. He deserves a HEA!!! Hopefully he will get one!
After reading the Epilogue i am so excited for Shattered Souls!!!

loved this Novella which focuses more on Daria. I love Darias character so its great to learn more about her and her backstory. She seems such a bubbly charcter but underneath shes hiding so much darkness and pain.
This is a brilliant addition to the series and well worth the read.

What a freaking amazing novella this was!!
I freakin love Daria and while Jake seemed a lil suspicious back in Mangled Minds I ended up loving him too!
I loved reading about them and their story, they were both smooth easy to read characters which is great after dealing with the other boys like Emmet and Tucker the broody asshats😂 (I love their moody asses).
I felt like this book is exactly what this series needed and especially what I needed while I wait impatiently for Shattered Souls!
And that Epilogue! Gah it’s a setup of sorts for Shattered Souls and it made me even more excited!!

I've already met Daria in Hollow Hearts and in Mangled Minds. She's Luna's friend, and she's such a sweet girl.
In Hollow Hearts she gets claimed by Bradley and it's all she wants. When she was a little girl her heart wanted a certain boy, and it was Bradley who convinced that she better stomp all over that! Now Bradley reveals his dark nature in Mangled Minds and she's slowly starting to question herself of what was trully real and what was not.
And here we have her own story, Fractured Faith. Will she let her guards down and will let herself to be loved? Will the love that was once only a spark let to be a flame?

Absolutely heart-melting. And that epilogue...

I loved this little novella! It gave us the much needed insight between Daria and Jake with little insights into Maddox's love life. Maddox is such a sweetie, he is one of my favourite characters. I'm glad we got this because it gave us more time to get to know Daria and Jake away from Luna and her guys. It was great to meet a new character from Jake's past in Erin too. I enjoyed the little teaser in the epilogue towards the next book. Excited to see what happens next in the series and recommend it to anyone!

An awesome little addition to the Harkwright Series. Daria has been an amazing extra in Luna's story and I'm so super happy with where this extra special story took her. Jake really is the one she is meant to be with and to read about them finding their way together was great. This makes me even more excited for the rest of Luna's story

This novella is all about Daria. She has been in love with Jake since kids. I felt bad for everything Daria had been through. She been lied to, betrayed, hurt. This book picks up where 2 left off. The Harkwright series is amazing. I love how in this book we get to see the Daria and focus on her story. I can't wait for book three. Who do you think the strangler is?

That little ending bit completely threw me through a loop! Now im even more excited to read shattered souls.

What a great read about Daria. I have wanted to know more about her story since she was introduced and I am glad we got to catch this glimpse of her. So we get her story and then we get some things to think on for the next installment in this series. I love how BC's mind works. I would highly recommend this series.

This novella from the Harkwright Thrilogy follows our girl Daria. Who I absolutely love in the series and Jake. In the series epeiscally the second most recent book we knew there was stuff going on with Daria and we couldn't tell if Jake was a bad guy. She'd been with Bradley, Jake was saying Bradley was bad news. But Jake was trying to get Luna, her best friend to betrayal her by spying on her from him. Jake said he wanted information Daria for her sake and it was in Darias best interest.

This book gives us answers, we figure out Jake's motives and what went on with Bradley. Taking place in Daria and Jake's POVs during the break between the end of the second school year before the third. Jake and Daria end up in the same location coincidentally and sharing a house. They are forced to be around each other and come to terms with their feelings and get things out in the open while also dealing with some drama that goes on during their stay. That drama creates for an interesting story and also helpst the story between Daria and Jake to move forward and show their feelings.

We learn more about Darias origins before the academy and the relationship between her and her parents. As well as the backstory with her, Jake, and Bradley before the academy. This is a really entertaining read I really enjoyed seemed Daria and Jake together. I really love Daria and now I really like Jake I'm so glad that we were able to get their story and told from both perspectives.

Bonus there's some hints in regards to the Strangler and Darias memeory and the EPILOGUE sets up the next book you do not want to miss it that is one epic scene at the end novella from Emmett's point of view.

This novella was an all around treat. Really looking forward to the third book in this amazing series and super intriguing world.

So I was wondering when I would get Daria and Jakes story.. and what a story itI is..childhood best friends who grew apart without explanation.. Jake being a Hartwright as well as Bradley (Darias ex) makes things even harder for him where Darias concerned ..

They end up at Maddox’s ski condo and when something huge happens to Darla, Jake is forced to show her all the emotions he’s been keeping to himself and they finally have the conversation they should have had long ago..

“ I know, I want to cling to him and pretend that nothing ever went wrong between us”- Daria

When they finally get together it is explosive and I couldn’t have been more excited for them. After the sex where do they go from there? As far as the academy goes Maddox has Darias number.. and Maddox needs the cover .. (I can’t wait for his story )

“Ri”, I moan. I know this is high on the corny factor but .. I think I just found my slice of heaven..Jake

When the secrets come out Daria and Jake must decide what’s worth fighting for.. hopefully they all figure it out before it’s too late.. I think Daria might have every right to be upset with Jake but I think her trust issues make her handle it a little too hasty.. Jake would do anything for her and she just had such a hard time with trust.. hopefully they will be able to stay together once back at the academy because they still have to deal with the strangler before he/ she strikes again.
There’s definitely an uprising within the Hartwright family and I can’t wait to see what happens .. the epilogue sets it up perfectly for book three .. and I am salivating for more..

I am absolutely obsessed with this series!! BC Morgan has once again taken my breath away with such an amazing book! I honestly crave more every single second of the day.

I seriously devoured this book! Fractured Faith was such a well written novella to tell Daria’s story. This was definitely a page turner. You get to see the past and present struggles Daria has to overcome. Her main struggle is whether or not she can let her childhood best friend back in and trust him. Luckily for her she is away from the academy to have some sort of freedom. Daria’s childhood friend, Jake, has a lot of pressure on him being a Harkwright, but the one thing he knows he wants is Daria. He plans to make this trip a mission to finally get her to trust him. I seriously adored these two and go such a different, but extremely good, outlook on these two characters. It was a nice break from Luna’s story to get another Academy girls story! I love Daria and I love Jake, them together is just a pure match. It was also so great to see Maddox happy with his significant other! He is such a great character, one of my favorites, and such a great friend to Daria!

There are literally twists and turns that you don’t see coming. I throughly enjoyed this novella. I feel like i learned so much in the epilogue that is going to play perfectly into the next book! I seriously can’t wait for Shattered Souls! I’m already counting down the days!

After the bomb Bradley dropped on Daria in Mangled Minds, I was hoping that we would get to see a bit more of what went on behind the scenes with them that led to letting go of his claim on her, to see how a relationship that had beforehand seemed so perfect and idealistic made a complete 180 and crumbled within seconds. With Daria being the only other female who really has a decent sized part in the books besides Luna, I was very happy to see that she got her own novella to give us a bit more background on her and why she was at the Academy as well as her relationship with Jake. My favorite thing with this short read is that it was in both Ri and Jake’s point of view. The Harkwright men are so wishy washy and confusing most of the time that you really never know what they are truly thinking. I hope that the multiple points of view make more of an appearance in the future books because this was game changing. I loved being able to see what was really going on in Jake’s head and know how he was feeling about the entire Bradley/Daria situation. We got to know him a bit more this way and really see a breakdown of his character. A more emotional and vulnerable side was shown as well as the fierce protectiveness that we’ve already come to be familiar with from him, even if it looked a bit manipulative in the way he chose to show it in the previous book. The road to hell is paved in good intentions, and although he meant well, the results weren’t exactly ideal or taken in a positive way. However, these Harkwright relationships take a lot of work, trust, honesty, and patience to be able to make them be even a tiny bit successful. After this book, Daria and Jake seem to be heading in the correct direction. We’ll see how things work out with them in the next book!

Fractured Faith by BC Morgan is a short novel to The Harkwright Trilogy. This book should be read after Mangled Minds and before Shattered Souls books.

Fractured Faith is a short story about Daria and Jake. It takes place after the event of Mangled Minds.

I loved how we get to see a little bit into Daria's head and what she knows. We also get a few chapters from Jake's point of view. I loved how we got to see what Harkwright man might think. Because otherwise we don't really know what goes in their head. They are mysteries.

We maybe get few more clues and more questions as to what is going on in the Harkwright Academy. I can't wait to go back there.

There are many hot and steamy scenes, and I can't wait to see how their relationship continues after this little ski trip. I kinda love them together, and I hope they stay together.

The Epilogue...I just need more!! Can't wait!

received a free ARC copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions are my own.

I've always been interested in the relationship dynamic and history between Luna's best friend, Daria, and the Harkwright boys Jake and Bradley. Fractured Faith is exactly that. We finally get more of an insight into Daria and Jake who are the main two characters in this book and what happened between them and Bradley in the past. Also, we get more Maddox too and I absolutely adore him. It may have only been a novella but it was bursting with everything you want in a story.

Away from the academy and at the ski retreat, Jake, Daria and Maddox can be more themselves and it was nice to see a different side to the characters where they aren't being led by the rules of the academy.

And that epilogue which is basically a set up to book three of the Harkwright Trilogy, Shattered Souls left me really excited for what is to come in the next book. I'm still intrigued to see how this novella will show the shift in the relationship between Jake and Daria in that book too.

Now ive said it before and ill say it again... BC Morgan is the QUEEN of layers!!! Her books have so many intricate layers that leave you begging for more and questioning your very existence 🤣🤣

This book is Darias story and goes into the past between her, Bradley and Jake aswell as filling in a few gaps from her perspective where book 2 leaves off. Your girl has been through some dark times to get to where she is today and is constantly growing and evolving into the beautiful young woman she is. Jake is just a total cutie and if you didn't hate Bradley already after books 1 & 2 you will now!!

Then we hit that epilogue... woman are you trying to give me a heart attack? I now have even more questions than I did before... I didn't think that was possible!

Fractured Faith is a novella that gives us a look into Daria and Jake's story and I loved every minute of it. Daria may seem like a tough cookie on the outside but she's breaking on the inside. The ones she thought she could trust betray her and her first love is making her feel all of these feelings that she keeps second herself with. Thinking she was getting away and leaving the drama behind her a certain someone pops up at the same destination. Jake was best friends with Ri and was also in love with her in secret, but when she left and picked his cousin over him she left him broken hearted. Now that things are different and with a little push of the unlikely of friends he is willing to bear it all to get the one girl that means everything to him.

Can I saw swoon!! I loved getting to see the real Daria and her character is a survivor. She may be beaten down but she always gets back up. Jake is a bold straight forward guy and even though he knows that if he reveals the truth to Ri it could bite him in the butt he's risking it to be with her. I couldn't put this book and now after that incredible ending I cannot wait for the next book to release.

This book grabbed me the moment that I started reading and I could not put it down until the very last page was read. It moved along at a great pace, which made for an enjoyable read. The characters seem so real that you feel as though you know them and no matter what you want to see them succeed and the story will grab you and not let you go until the very last word is read and then you are wanting more. This book is a must read, there is no doubt about it and it needs to be on your TBR list for 2020

If you have been reading about Luna and the Harkwright boys then you already know about Daria. If you are like me, you knew there was more to her story that you wanted. Well this is it. We learn about her past and about the choices she has made. We also get to see a side of Jake that we haven't really gotten to see yet. It's a novella so it is on the shorter side. But there was a ton of story packed in there and I loved every second of it. Now I'm ready to get back to Luna (who makes a small appearance here) and see what she's been up to.

This novella is perfect and had my heart beating fast. This book falls between books 2 and 3 of the Luna's story and focuses on Daria and Jake. I loved the background to their characters and it really gave her character so much more depth. Jakes love for Daria really shows in this book and I can't wait to see how their relationship develops in Luna's final book. The ending had me anxious for the next book, bringing back Luna's situation and storyline. It's a beautiful companion to the series and if you loved Luna's books, this is a must read!

I loved that Daria (FMC) Luna's friend (from The Hawkwright series) gets her own Novella. It cleared up a few unanswered questions that id had as well as bring up a few new ones. I enjoyed finding out more about her past relationship with Jake. Even though Jake is sadly a Hawkwright (im hoping im right) but i get the feeling that he is as well as Maddox one of the few decent guys in that family. i havent made my mind up about the others yet. Still i really liked this Novella. Daria was one of the characters id loved from pretty much the beginning of the Hawkwright series. Loved this but damn another knockout ending. Cant wait for the next book now

Amazing dive into a side story!

With Daria’s history brought up in other books, this explanation and exploration into her story is much needed! I love that everything in this book happens during winter break, that it fits into the timeline of the other books, and that the epilogue shows more of the backstory from the other books! I great in-between story! Dark, hot, and sincere!

This book was such an amazing insight to the characters in the harkwright trilogy. With the series coming to an soon this little novella tugs at your heart and truly gives you a perspective on D her special harkwright. Honestly it endears you a bit more to them as a whole. They all may seem like the bad guys but in truth a lot of them are doing what they need to to find their place in their families and I’m not sure if BC meant to make them all seem more human but darn her twists and turns have me for a loop. Are they more human are they more sinister?! What’s the end game? I cannot wait to find out!

I love love Daria as our mc’s bff. This novella really lets us into her head and follows her after her recent tragedy. Even after she almost died her spirit is still awesome and she’s not giving up. We see her heal and despite another awful setback while on vacay, we finally get what we’ve been waiting for! Love this side story and am so down for her getting her love tank filled. Great read and definitely adds to the main story with Luna.

I was so glad to read Daria’s and Jake’s story. She’s one of my favorite side characters in the Harkwright trilogy. This novella gives you more insight into Daria and Jake as well as to some of the characters you’ve already read about. It also teases at what is to come in book three (awesome epilogue). I enjoyed it and I think it was a great addition to the series.
