My passions in life? My mates. My kids. Rescuing animals across the world with the help of the family fortune.
Yet one slip up from a flight of dragons has put everything I care about in peril. With one of my mates clinging to life and the others losing footing without a leader, it's my turn to step up and protect the family I've made. But I'm a newly minted werewolf, an omega, and some of the supernatural community isn't about to listen to me.
Torn between love, duty, and the worry that I might lose it all, I'm still trying to be a mom and keep the rescues that look up to me taken care of. And that's hard to do when my mate's prognosis keeps getting worse.
Life only gets rougher when another flight of dragons fall into my lap. The dragoness alpha leader is against everything I stand for, determined to drag our world into the sight of men and their weapons to satisfy her vengeance. Some of my shifter friends agree with her, putting me in a tricky position. If I give in to their dreams of war, I might lose myself. If I work against them, I might lose everything.
In the end, I know one thing for certain.
Fate brought me here and I'll be damned if I let anyone take it all away.
I really enjoyed this book. The story was very unique. There were so many amazing creatures in it. There was a lot of excitement through the entire thing. I loved the characters! There was only one thing I didn't like and that was the ending. It was very strange. It just sort of petered out. It finished in a weird place and didn't really seem to have an ending at all. It just...stopped. There was no closure. It felt like the end of a chapter not the end of the book. You didn't get closure. You never find out what happened to the main characters. Hopefully, there will be another book to complete the story. If there isn't one, then I would change the 4 stars to 3 stars.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that Hudson made it through his injuries. I can't wait to see what will happen next for them.
Was really happy with this book. Love seeing how she takes her alphas and shows them what an omega can really do; more than cooking and raising the pups. Liked meeting some of the other shifter groups and look forward to the next one.
Another amazing book by a great author. The twist and turn makes me anxious to read the next one. I love how she's trying the books together. Now to find another if hers to start. Read all 3 books in 2 1/2 days... Keep up the good work
XXX! Adult content, reader discretion advised. Sadie has always been a take action kind of girl. Omegas are supposed to follow Alphas not lead them. Sadie never was one for stereo-types. Werewolves, dragons and fae oh my! Apparently angry dragons and werewolves are hard to reason with and are stupid stubborn.
This story is hard to review. I like Sadie she is trying not to be pigeon holed into the omega role. Olivia’s character is disappointing. I really did expect more from her especially since she is the one that got the dragons into trouble in the first place. I think Sadie needs to stand up and have the pack have her back.
Had a bit of a time finishing this one. I am on the fence with the fae. The female alpha dragon on the rampage constantly, the absolute best part of this book was the rescues attacking to help the wolves.
