It was a love spell that was meant to save them from heartbreak. Who knew such a thing would backfire so spectacularly?
I'm a book worm. A wall flower. I never really wanted to do the love spell, but I couldn't disappoint my best friends. Ruby and Tiffany just wanted it so much. After a lifetime of no men in our lives, it seems like we're attracting them three fold.
Three guys. THREE guys. For me. I can't even begin to tell you how wrong that should feel, and yet it doesn't. It feels... well, amazing. Except I somehow manages to get TWO Alpha wolves who don't know how to share, and the mystery surrounding my father is slowly unravelling.
How do I make my triad work when the past is holding me back, and the future is so uncertain?
Practical Magic meets Twilight in this coming of age, reverse harem paranormal romance.
*** Author note: Halloween Witches are standalone stories, but are best read in order.

Honestly, I expected a lot more out of this novel and this character. I tend to prefer main characters that are shy and introverted. But she’s wasn’t that. Honestly, she frustrated me a lot throughout the novel, but she had some redeemable moments.
The Halloween witches are back! Ruby, Bella, and Tiffany worked a spell to call to them their true love, Ruby found her three shifter mates in Alpha Magic and now it's Bella's turn. Pack Magic is the second book in the Halloween Witches series and it was awesome. Filled with magic, mates, steam, betrayal, drama, and shocking revelations, I loved it.
Pack Magic is the continuation of the overall story but this time the story is told from Bella's and her mates' perspectives. Where Ruby from Alpha Magic was confident, loud, bright, and cheerful, Bella is kinda the opposite of that. I loved Bella, could relate to her more, she's a shy bookworm whose confidence could use a little work but underneath has a strong backbone, and instead of rushing things, thinks them through and tries to do what she thinks is right.
Bella was not ready for three shifter mates but seeing the bond between her and the guys was great. Jonah is sweet and caring, he had the best friend quality to him while Tommy was a strong protective type but still, he was willing to give his all to his mate even if he had to share her/ However just like with Ruby, not everything goes smoothly and there is that one mate, in Bella's case it's Elliot, who has issues that he has to work through. It was interesting seeing how attracted they were to each other, know that they are mates but still couldn't get it together right away. Seeing them work through their issues somehow made their relationship more, not better than Bella's with Tommy but adds in something different. However, I promise everything works out and there is an HFN.
My favorite things about this story are all the family connections and the magic. Turns out the moms knew more than what they were saying (as if we didn't know) and after everything comes out and after Bella finds her mates all the familial connections are revealed, it's kinda one big knot but it's really cool especially since Bella, Ruby, and Tiffiany grew up with so little family and not accepted by their coven. Now the magic in this series is really cool and the more I see of it the jealous I get. Yes, they use spells with an awesome spellbook but the conjuring is epic and I love it. They can conjure pretty much anything they need and it's fantastic. I don't see too much of that kinda magic in books so it's refreshing when some things can just be easy.
Pack Magic was a quick and magical read, I loved it. The overall story is really coming together and it's all magic and mayhem. The truth of the moms' pasts finally came out and the truth behind the shocking currents has finally come to light, and while things are okay for now things are far from settled. The curse needs to be broken, the witches have to be stoped, Bella and Ruby have found their fated mates but things are far from over, it's Tiffany's turn next in Wolf Magic, which I believe is the conclusion to the series.
Three witches born on Halloween. Three witches preform a spell on their birthday for their soulmates. One has found three black wolves mates. Now Bell who is quiet and shy. Comes across three white wolves. But are they her mates. One is an Alpha's Alpha, one is a Alpha and one is a beta. Then what they find out about the High Warlock. Why the secrets? What will they find out about their fathers? What was everyone hiding?

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had an awfully hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
This is book two of the Halloween Witches series and catches up with the three best friends Bella, Ruby and Tiffany shortly after their twenty second birthday. The three girls mums are best friends and the three girls were all born on Halloween. Their mothers all had to raise them as single parents and never dated again, after their mates disappeared some twenty three years ago. They all let their daughters assume that their dads were warlocks, as being full blooded witches themselves, relationships between witches and shifters weren’t normal nor allowed. Shifters and witches both were brought up hating each other. Tiffany found herself with three wolf shifters as her fated mates, after the three girls did a love spell on the night of their 21st birthdays, not wanting to end up alone like their mothers! It comes out that all of their fathers were wolf shifters, with Bella’s having a large amount of warlock in him, making her more powerful at magic than her best friends. But the spell they did has a price and it looks like Ruby has paid the price for her part in it, as she lost her magic trying to reverse the spell. The girls thought their dads were all just one night stands! They may still be alive and stuck in their wolf state, after it seems the high warlock put a curse on the wolf pack!
Ruby and Tiffany were the most eager to have mates, but Bella is happy to wait a while and concentrate on finishing her teaching degree. Now the girls have the mystery of their fathers, who were all cousins, and the possible curse on the pack resulting in a complete lack of female shifters being born over more than two decades! When Bella finally visits Ruby at her home on pack land, where she lives with her three mates, Jackson an alpha, Billy a beta and Darren a quarter warlock rest shifter, she meets Billy’s brother Jonah, a beta. He is immediately drawn to Bela and she can’t keep her eyes off him, but he can hardly speak, as the mating call makes his wolf go crazy! He leaves Ruby to explain what happened to her and arranges to meet her the next morning. They get along really well the next morning that is until Jonah’s older brother Tommy and his best friend Elliot, who are both alphas, walk into the diner. They have the exact same reaction as Jonah did when he first saw her, as does Bella if not even stronger than the day before. After Jonah sends the two to run it off, he explains that they are also her mates! Not something she was expecting, nor that she even believes she could cope with. She has never had a boyfriend or even kissed anyone. Suddenly having three mates is just too overwhelming! Bella has managed to get herself two alphas, both in their mid-thirties, one of whom definitely isn’t the type to share, especially after seeing his own parents unable to stick together and being the first mated pair to split in their pack’s history.
The girls try to get answers from the pack’s elders, but they are reluctant to tell the girls anything about their father’s or the pack’s problem having children. They even approach their own high coven, but are fobbed off, until they push their way in. Instead of just one warlock in charge of the coven and having control of all the magic of the coven, since his death a couple of years ago, there are now two witches and two warlocks in charge of the coven. Not that they are really much help. Some of them seem to have a huge hatred of shifters and aren’t exactly helpful about the girls situation, other than suggesting there must be something linked to the curse put on the shifters, for it still to be working after the high warlock’s death. Some in the coven are unhappy with Ruby and now Bella’s shifter mates and shifters in general, and are willing to do everything they can to stop the wolf pack line from continuing. The girls and their mates are in trouble and there may be quite a few shocks for them and their mothers. Bella has to figure out if she really wants multiple mates, especially when one of them seems to be more trouble for her than they’re worth. Great to see another of the girls finding her fated mates, but with a lot more problems and past history to deal with. There is a nice refresher at the start of the book, in case you haven’t read book one, which will help make sense of book two. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
In the character-driven story, Belle was a useless damsel (despite supposedly being the smartest, best-read and most powerful of their little group), her mates were all shallow recycled cliches (the alpha, the knight and the nice guy), there was zero relationship building (who cares what her hopes and dreams are, I just want to carry her off to bad and **** her brains out so she will never leave me) and zero character growth (no Elliot didn't grow, even after everything, he still took the alpha spot in the bedroom when it made emotional and physical sense for Jonah to; I mean she's a virgin so having the man she had spent the least amount of time with and has the biggest, longest, thickest dick of the three to deflower her was past idiotic.).
(Oh, and it wasn't a story of two alphas and a beta having the same mate, it the story of a SUPER-alpha, an alpha and a beta having the same mate. So why have two alphas at all in that case? The author only knows.)
In the plot-driven story, too much did not make sense. For example, the mothers were suppose to be so in love with their daughter's fathers that they never loved or even dated again but when their locator spells failed, instead of thinking past the end of their noses, recognizing magic was involved and thoroughly investigating, they just gave up.
And the daughters' lack of interest was just as nonsensical. Given the number of matching details in the conception stories and the singular birthday, I would have sat the mothers down many years ago to ask a lot of pointed questions starting with, 'Was it the SAME one-night stand? Like a four-way with all of you? Are we half-sisters?' as well as 'Why weren't any of you using protection with some random stranger? Were you trying to get pregnant? Have you never heard of STDs?'
(Oh, and from a villain's perspective, a head shot would have been much simpler, easier, cleaner and less suspicious than that ridiculous and overly-complicated void and storm scenario.)
There were also several errors, like Belle driving her car to the wolf compound, seeming to forget she had her car and allowing Elliot to drive her home and then !poof! two days later, she again drives her car to the wolf compound when it should have been already there still sitting in front of Millys'.
But what bothered me the most was the lack of character agency. Belle doesn't want three mates, she wants one, is willing to live with two at the most but is forced by the mating bond/Fates/whatever to accept all three. Elliot doesn't want to share a mate and a home and a bed but he too is forced onto that path regardless. They aren't even allowed to decide this is what they want thru getting to know each other and/or trials and tribulations, no, it is forced upon them thru metaphysical-generated physical and emotional pain.
Just a poor story all the way around.
(And a personal nitpick: the bothers thing is icky. You cannot have a three-way, let alone a four-way without all the participants ending up touching each other when things get down and dirty. There just isn't enough room to avoid it.)
Bella is the second out of her, Ruby and Tiffany to meet their true loves. The three of them had used a powerful spell to bring their true loves to them over a year ago and since had learned they all had shifter fathers that were cousins. But Bella was having problems from the beginning with her mates because she only wanted one and she was getting three. Tommy and Elliot were alpha shifters that shared a home and were best friends and Jonah was Tommy’s brother. When they met Bella they each knew she was their mate. But alphas don’t usually share. Their interesting and exciting story is filled with danger and intrigue from the beginning as the girls unravel secrets from the past about the witches and the shifters that leaves them all shocked. Thinking heartache is the right thing may cost Bella and her true mates everything even as they fight for their lives. Good second read

Could not put it down! While visiting Ruby, Bella meets her mates and of course it does not go smoothly. Especially with her mind on the curse and their fathers. Bella and the girls are in for a shocking revelation about themselves and their fathers with an added twist. Bella must decide if she has the courage to accept her mates, and their help. This installment in the “Halloween Witches” series is going to amaze readers, while still delivering the action, drama, confusion, turmoil, danger, and the betrayal that swirls around the newness of fated mates that we have come to expect. I am addicted to this series and excited for the next installment. I hope the story of Bella, Tiffany and Ruby’s mothers’ fated romances is included in this series. This is the 2nd book in the series. It is every bit as interesting as the 1st. Just as much happens, but it is all somewhat new. Bella finds her mates, 3 of them. She is having a hard time coming to terms with the idea of more than 1 mate. Her mates names are Elliot, Tommy, and Jonah. Honestly of the 3 I think Jonah is my favorite. So between that and the curse on the wolves Bella, Ruby, and Tiff have a lot to deal with. In the process Bella almost makes a really bad mistake. This is a very well done book. I am really looking forward to reading about Tiffany next. Also finding out how everything works out.

Bella is the second in the trio who finds her mates. Tommy, Elliot, and Jonah are white wolves, two are brothers and the third, an alpha born, is accepted as a brother. The tension mounts as Elliot struggles with the triad concept and Bella struggles with her feelings of inferiority. The evil spell is also growing and fighting to complete the horrible task. More secretes come out and more of the spell is revealed. As Bella, Ruth and Tiffany fight to achieve the happiness they spelled for the clock is ticking. I enjoyed reading about how Bella and her wolves look inside themselves and work to overcome their issues. I recommend this read.

The second book in this trilogy revolves around Bella, our second witch of the trio. I love that each book focuses on one of the girls but there is an overall plot/mystery being solved through each book. This book revealed even more than book 1, but left a few more mysteries to be solved within the third book.
Each of the girls seem to have a different personality and different expectations for what they were expecting with the spell they cast. I like that Bella had some reservations and questions regarding everything. I also like that it wasn’t just love drama that was happening, we had outside influences as well.
Overall this is a cute continuation of the trilogy. I’m excited to hear our last witch’s story and see a (hopeful) end to the mystery.
This is the second book in the series but easy to read even if you havent read the first one. Magic and mayhem rule in this fast paced and exciting story with mysteries and betrayals galore along with a not so feisty witch even if she is the friend with the strongest magic , a couple of tough alpha shifters filled with rage and jealousy trying to find a way to make an unexpected fated matting work. Secrets are revealed and old hurts revisited in a story that will keep you wondering and reading from start to finish then wanting the next book to find the answers left in this one.

Bella and her two friends cast a spell to find their mates quicker and now she has three of them. Tommy, Jonah, and Elliot have to accept the outcome, but it is a battle, especially with the top alpha Elliot. The characters are strong and determined. The storyline has its share of ups and downs, with situations against the coven and finding the history and background they are looking for. The curse must be stopped. Loved when the truth came out and surprises were revealed. Can not wait to see who the third witch gets for mates.

This is the second book in a trilogy. I haven't yet read the first one but it didn't matter as the back story was explained in the first few chapters.
This is a fast, exciting paranormal romance that leaps straight into the action. The characters are bright, colourful and endearing. I have read other books by this author and they do not disappoint.
Great if you like your paranormal romance fast and easy.

Now it is Bella s turn to find her mates that she and her 2 best friends cast a spell to find on their birthday. But Bella is a little worried based on who Ruby mates ended up being and of course she was right to worry. And thus began a fun hilarious story with a few surprises, personality issues, and secrets revealed. Enjoyed the suspense and bit of danger. And the secrets were a blast to find and discover about the past. And I loved the ending. Just a great story in the end that was a quick fun read.
The Halloween Witches are back in this fun story. In the previous book, the three friends Bella, Ruby, and Tiffany cast a spell to find their true mates. Now it is Bella’s turn and, with her insecurity and lack of dating experience, she is not sure she can handle the three wolf shifter mates, Jonah, Elliot and Tommy. With two of her wolves being Alphas, sharing is not easily accepted and Elliot is struggling with that. Can they work this out? Will Bella find her HEA?
3.5 stars - This is the Halloween Witches series book 2. I really like the worldbuilding and plot. However, I am not feeling the characters. I plan to read book 3, but that is because I am curious to find out who caused the curse, whether it can be reversed or corrected, and what happens to the Manterri cousins. Yes, this is a romance, but most of the book focuses on the mystery of the curse and the brothers. The character building is very minimal and the characters do not feel realistic.

Somehow this was better than the first book. Maybe because it was a bit more of a slowburn with one of the characters? Whatever the case: I found it a good continuation of the series. More secrets revealed, sudden danger awakening, another FMC trying to figure out how to handle three surprise mates and vice versa. Super quick why choose paranormal romance.
The description says that these can be read as standalones but there's an overarching plot that I think needs to be read in order. And sadly: no book three in the ole ebook library for me to dive right into 🫠
This series has not disappointed me yet. This book was a bit more slow burn than the first, but still had some steamy parts added in. Nothing felt forced in this book; which made it so much better, but I also loved how the story line connected to Ruby's story as well bringing out the story to be fully connected to the cousins. I don't want to say too much about the story but I can tell you that if you like books with magic, action and a little bit of steam rolled in this would be a book I would recommend to you.
The Halloween Witches are back and oh lawd does this get interesting. So now we have Bella who finds her fated mates. They happen to be wolves as well. Now as you know from the first book she was involved in casting a spell to speed up the process of locating her true mate. Then you have the mystery of her missing father. Now Bella does not think that she can handle multiple mates. Keep in mind that she has never dated before. Well this spell has plans for Bella and that includes Jonah, Elliot and Tommy. Now two of them are alphas and the other is a beta. Also Bella is more inquisitive of three witches. she learns some interesting information. It all gets crazy and hectic. As you read you will be hooked and want to know how it ends. I cannot wait for the next book.
Just my type of book to read. I love reading shifter books, in particular wolf shifters. The story just flowed from the start to the finish. The characters worked so well together and I had a wonderful connection with them all. I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of the story. I highly recommend this book for others that are over the age of 18+

The second in the series of the Halloween Witches. This is Bella's story of meeting her three mates. They learn more about their fathers. Loved the easy to read story with action, suspense, steam and more background. Tiffany's story will be the third in the series, sure to be as exciting as the first two!!

Pack Magic by Amelia Shaw is an awesome story that is a story that I have had the privilege to read and give my honest review on it. This is book number two in this awesome series that I could not put down till I was done and now I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to read the next book. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about wolf shifters, fantasy and paranormal romance.

Bella struggles throughout to accept Elliot as her 3rd mate. Not to mention the curse on them and the pack, and the fact that their fathers are still alive but trapped as wolves. By the end they delay the witch and warlock wanting to harm them. Bella then accepts all 3 mates. Cant wait to read the next one for the finale and a completed HEA.
This is book 2 of the series and works more or less on the same lines as book 1, the main difference is that here we gain more clarity about the girls and their past, the curse and the involvement of all factions. All in all eagerly waiting for the conclusion in book 3.

Bella and her guys are so great! This story continues where the previous ends. Bella and friends needs to work together with the wolves and their moms to uncover the curse affecting the pack. Such an interesting story.

There’s a few times in the book where the author has put the wrong name in place. Like who is Courtney? And there’s a whole sentence that’s Ruby’s pov when it should be Bella’s. this story is also a super slow burn with nothing happening until the last chapter.
I am really enjoying this series. I love the trio of withches and their protective mothers. Interesting idea, and the curse makes for some intense moments. Fast paced with great characters, I cannot wait for the next installment.
