If you consider buying this - don't. My impression is the first edition was rushed and the book did not receive the QA it should have.
Examples of what I mean are half page figures which are completely unexplained. (Of which there are surprisingly many.)
Also, I find it a bit galling that the book refers throughout to ITIL practice guides, which are only accessible online on a subscription basis. E.g. there is a separate ITIL practice guide for strategy management, which is explicitly not part of this publication.
Good book about digital transformation and strategy in general. It is more or less the reincarnation of the old ITIL 2011 Service Strategy book, but updated for the current times. There is only a little amount of overlap with the other ITIL publications, which is also its issue: where are the links with the core ITIL Framework? Other than that, this is a balanced and well-written book.
