Some people wake up from their nightmares, others are the demon they dream about.
Lily Star Morgan always knew her companions were hiding things from her, but she never suspected the truth. The minute she sees the Wicked Crown, she knows it belongs to her - and it might just destroy everything she had been up until the day she touches it.
Roth has no choice but to follow Lily down the dangerous path she’s chosen, although he doesn’t doubt that it would lead to a war she isn’t ready to fight yet. He has faith in her, and in them, certain that whatever may happen, they would never lose their bond.

Whew that was an amzing ride!! Soo super stoked when this book arrived in my library!! Its thr continuation of the series. Lily and Roth are in Hell and Raven is in Utopia and Ash is searching for her all over. Loved that there are two romances brewing and developing in this series! Lots of action and super steamy scenes. Oh wow that cliffhanger!!! I cant wait!!!
Ok the wait was worth it as this book is amazing and i love the combination or Erin & Mays writing styles. The only issue is that in book 2 she knows an awful lot about her history which is book one was a mystery to her and i feel that we kinnda missed something somewhere even with the explanation it kind of stumbles. That said i love everything else!! World building and relationship dynamics are as you would expect from these authors is brilliant, The storey is fast paced and full of action plus draws you in completely so expect to read this little beasty in one sitting.. Plenty of sizzle and steam. Lily and Roth are preparing for war and training hard whilst Ash is desperately trying to find Raven, Lucifer has been hoodwinked but when all hell breaks loose litereally will they come together and be enough to save hell! Warning though if your a one star reviewer for cliff hangers please DONT bother reading this because it has the most delicious evil cliffhanger ever!
When hell freezes over is the second book in the Wicked Crown serie by Erin Bedford and May Sage.
Lily is the rightful heir of Hell, daughter of Lucifer and Lilith, but with barely enough training to defend herself, she's in no shape to rule. And with the angels lead by Gabriel, that will soon attack hell, Lily really need to train hard if she wants to defend her home.
I have received an arc of it from the authors. I have really love this one and hope their will be another book in this serie.
Ever since I was young I had a weak spot for angels. And that weak spot is still there, even though I don't think every Angel story is as well done. So, when I saw the first book in this series and had a chance to read an ARC, I couldn't say no and after the cliffhanger I was quite excited to start the second book. Luckily for me BookSprout sent me an e-mail this week that I could also get an ARC for this book!
In a way this is a second book like there are so many in series. It's quite clearly the book that brings the characters from the epic finale of the first book, and the cliffhanger, to the start of the series finale that will happen in the last book. A lot of the book consists of talking, training and waiting for the epic fight to happen. Of course, that doesn't mean nothing happens. A few things do happen along the way, but it's quite clearly build up.
It's also quite clearly character bonding. I especially loved how visible the power of the mating bond was through the situation Raven and Ash were in. Raven, even though she's a tough girl who can look after herself, was really wishing for Ash to show up, even though she was also afraid what would happen if he would. And Ash was literally moving Hell and Heaven to reach his mate. I personally think their love story might be the most powerful in this series. Mostly because they so clearly have to fight for it.
That doesn't mean I don't like Lily. On the contrary. I love how Lily is determined to fight for what she wants, even if she has no idea how to do that. I also love how the people who care about Lily, no matter their own desires, hold her back and take the time to prepare. Because of all those years of training, her role in the epic finale will seem more realistic. I can't wait to see Lily using her full force and I can't wait to see her as a ruler and a leader in every possible way.
“When Hell Freezes Over” the second book in the “Wicked Crown Series” by May Sage and Erin Bedford is a great UF story that puts a brand-new twist into the angel/demon mythology.
As Lily Star Morgan, daughter of Lucifer himself and Lilith had enough of the Underworld and decided to go to New York and enroll at University, she really hadn’t in mind to end up entangled with a group of supernaturals friends. However, the encounter was fateful as enabled her to find out more facts about her own provenance and power. Nevertheless, the friends are not being totally truthful, they are keeping secrets, and Lily knows that. Now the truth is in the open, and Lily has only one goal, to possess the Wicked Crown, even if it cost her everything she ever built since leaving the Underworld, and ultimately lead to a war, a war she is wholly unprepared for. Fortunately, Roth stays by her side, confident that the bond between them both can face everything, but… can it?
The series is interesting and well-written, with a carefully crafted background story embedded into a paranormal urban fantasy story that blends mythology and folklore with teenager angst and coming-of-age elements into a satisfying action-filled page-turner that keeps the reader entertaining from beginning to end. A wonderful sequel to “Little Morgen Star”
Holy fires 🔥of hades!!! This ends on a heart-pounding cliffy but book three is fast approaching so you won't have to fret for long
When we left our little motley bunch in book one Gabriel had Raven Ash had fled to avoid detection at the same time realizing his mate was an angel and Michaels daughter to boot Lilly was returning "home" with Roth and Roth? Roth was fighting the physical draw he felt for Lilly while trying to train her to defend the realms of He LL
And Now? Strap your swords on and pick a side Things are about to go to he🏒🏒 real fast (pun intended) Ash is trying to rescue Raven - A bit hard when he can't even find her Lilly is being beaten into the ground - quite literally - as Roth puts her through the paces trying to train her Not to mention the physical tension between them that Roth has refused to squash And Gabriel? He is ruthless in his need to acquire Lilly and wipe out He LL
Can Ash save his mate before it's to late? Will Lilly be strong enough in time to defend her realm? Can Roth withhold the need to claim his mate? Can Raven survive Gabriel or will she succumb to his torture?
This is the second book in the Wicked Crown series. Lily is the daughter and heir of Lucifer and Lilith. Roth is an Angel and the son of Gabriel. Roth is training Lily. He needs to make sure she is ready to wear the Wicked Crown and ready for the final battle against Gabriel and the angels. The crown keeps calling out to her but she must resist it until she is ready. Ash is a hellhound and he is searching for Raven, an Angel and his true mate. Raven is the daughter of Michael. She was kidnapped by Gabriel who is torturing her for information on Lily. Raven is a prisoner in Utopia. Can her father Michael save her? Will he go against Gabriel? There are some intense and steamy scenes between Roth and Lily. They are hot together! This was a very good book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. It’s been 3 years since Raven as taken and Lily has gone to Hell with Roth to be trained.forth coming war. But time runs differently in Hell, on Earth and in Utopia. A year on Earth could be a week in Utopia. Things are coming to a head quickly though, as Gabriel becomes more obsessed.
The world-building and character building becomes even more detailed in this book. I do appreciate that the author doesn’t feel the necessity to describe every detail of different events in the book, leaving it up to the knowledge the reader has to fill in the details, though it is explicit enough that the book isn’t suitable for younger teens. Warning, this book does leave you with a cliffhanger. I’m currently now waiting for the next book in the series.

Demons vs Angels. Who said the angels were the good guys? War is coming and Ash, Roth, and Lily have to find Raven. She’s been taken by the angels and probably being tortured as a traitor. But Lily isn’t ready to take on the angels. She needs lots of training. Roth, her mate, is training her and he is relentless. Meanwhile Raven is just trying to survive her capture and torture. She knows none of her friends can save her. Especially her mate Ash, a hellhound. When help comes from an unexpected source, she learns of a plot to take down Hell. She has to warn her friends before it’s too late. But even if she does, is Lily strong enough to defend her realm? This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. When Hell Freezes Over by May Sage and Erin Bedford is the second book in the Wicked Crown Trilogy. I absolutely loved this read. Fast paced and action packed, not to mention sexy as sin (Mature Readers Only Please), this book picks up right where the first book leaves you. Lily, Raven Ash and Roth are between a rock and a hard place. The war between angels and demons is imminent and the situation is about to take a hard left turn! The drama and angst has been ratcheted to the extreme and the steam between Lily and Roth has become intense. This is a must read trilogy that is guaranteed to entertain! The book does leave you prepped for the final showdown.

When Hell Freezes Over' picks up just after Raven is kidnapped. Time is a little tricky in this one as Raven is gone for about three weeks equaling 3 human years. While Lily is brought to Hell with Roth to train for her taking up her father's mantle, Ash goes on a rescue mission for Raven. During this 3 year gap, Lily and Roth's relationship is kicked up a notch and the heat is on between them. The story ramps up as Lucifer and Raven storm the castle so to speak to help the others against Gabriel and his army. It's an exciting story, that leaves us with a cliffhanger just as the battle is to begin. I can't wait till the next installment so see what fresh hell Lily is about to unleash.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! Roth and Lily's dynamics is hilarious! I TOTALLY love Lucifer! And I'm quite fond of Michael too! But Gabriel is really disturbing AND EXTREMELY disgusting, I know incest is common among biblical stories, but his ego and sadistic streak can only rival with Voldemort's, he is so gross!!! And Raphael clearly has inferiority issues, that whole family needs group therapy!
PLEAAAAAAAASE this can't not be the end!!!! Pleaaaaaaase!!!!!!!! Please let me see Lily's kicking her father-in-law's ass!!!! Pretty please!!!!!!!
Ps: I'm SERIOUSLY loving the covers btw! These are SOOO much better than the old ones, plus they tell a story on their own and are a perfect introduction to the books!!!
Lily is in constant training for the war to come between the angels and hell. Raven has been taken and being tortured just to satisfy a deep perversion of Gabriel. Michael will he fight or just abandon his daughter Raven again like he did when she was a child. Lucifer has stayed a volunteer prisoner believing his daughter Lily is being held hostage and going to be tortured if he goes to her aid. Raven stumbles upon Lucifer and tells him the truth. Who will win? Will they survive the war? Lots of steaming action between Lily and Roth.

The story continues for Lily, Roth, Raven and Ash. Raven has been taken captive by Gabriel who is determined to take down Hell and the heir (Lily) by any means possible. There is quite the chemistry between Lily and Roth, and I felt for Ash who is determined to find his mate, Raven. The unexpected players are Raven’s father, Michael, and the return of Lucifer. Yes, this ends with a cliffhanger, but no surprise as this was book 2 of 3. My only real complaint is that we have to wait a while for the conclusion...
** Cliffhanger Warning! ** I like this book. Things are more intense in this second part of the series. There's plenty of action, intrigue, and conflict. The main characters are all dealing with a whole lot of drama. I thoroughly enjoyed how Lily got Roth to stop being a tease.
Having said that, there are still a hellacious amount of typos and inconsistencies. I'm so confused about Raven's age and how long she was on Earth. How did Lily know so much at the beginning when nobody explained things to her?

Lily has a big destiny, and her mate Roth wants to keep her safe, and do all he can to protect her. She wants to keep all those she loves and cares for safe, and she is wants to get her friend Raven back. If she goes up against the enemies too early, Roth fears he will lose her, can he train her in time before they descend upon them? I loved this intriguing tale, where angels might be just as broken as the rest of us, and the story just pulled me in, now I need to have the next one please.

When Hell Freezes Over is book two of the Wicked Crown trilogy and it picks up where book one left off. There is a lot going on in this book as Lily is training with Roth for the upcoming war, Ash is determined to save Raven and Lily is still figuring out everything. This is a captivating story filled with unexpected twists, a paranormal romance, drama, magic, danger, and a cliffhanger that left me wanting book three now. I can't wait to read the next book in this series to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Lily is doing everything she can to prepare herself for the upcoming war with the angels. Roth trains her every day on how to use her powers and their bond grows tighter and tighter. Meanwhile, Raven is in Utopia (the angel realm) being tortured by a power hungry archangel, Gabriel. Ash is working feverishly to find her and she also finds unexpected allies there. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.
After being lied to constantly, Lily is totally over the lies and the secrets. Preparing for the war that is coming against the angels, Roth stands by her side to train her how to use her powers. Through out the story, their bond continues to grow.
Full of action and laughs, I love the chemistry between all the characters and I can't wait to see what else Erin brings!!

I really enjoy following the story of Lily Star. This is already the book two and if you want to fully understand the story, I suggest you read book 1 first.
One thing about this book(series) is that it’s not your typical stories. You’re learning somehow at the same time enjoying it. Histories between lucifer and a twist about it between angels and demons. Looking forward on reading the sequel

It was great to get back to these characters...I enjoyed the book from Beginning to end.
It was amazing to see where our characters would end up, if they’d reach the destinations and accomplish what they were setting out to do.
It’s hard to really explain without spoiling it; so I’ll say like book one this one lives up to what there first one gave us. It’s definitely a series I want more from.
Recommend if you read the first, but if you’re a fan of either author - it’s 100% must read!
The second book of the Wicked Crown Series a well written story that kept me turning pages. But just as it is getting really good it ends and we have to wait until December for the next book. Which I will be reading. This story deals with two couples Lily and Roth, Ash and Raven, there is suspense, drama, danger, an age old war between Heaven and Hell, and romance. This book slayed me. With every word, every sentence and paragraph, I couldn't stop devouring it. Lily & Roth (a.k.a Gabriel's son) - swoon. Lucifer finally learning the truth and fighting his hardest to get to his daughter. Oh my... this books was just EVERYTHING! I can't wait to see how it'll all play out.
This second book in the series does not disappoint! The longing between Roth and Lily, Ash and Raven’s situation, the angels marching on Hell...there is so much action building that this book kept me reading far into the night! I can’t wait to read the next book and see what happens!

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions and this series continues with a second book that is filled to the brimstone with steamy romance, action, intrigue, and adventure. Great reading! My only disappointment? The ending… CLIFFHANGER!!!

Thank you for continuing this story....and love two authors coming together. My only critique is that at the end of book 1 Lilly knew nothing of her heritage. When book 2 starts she is fully informed. It felt like there was a scene missing even if it was a flashback where her friends told her her real.history. otherwise great story.
Another great book to the series! The author once again brings strong characters and delivers a fantastic story filled with action and intrigue along with the steamy romance. It's well written with descriptive scenes and is a great read. Can't wait for the next book!
