So you have to suspend disbelief pretty far for this one. You have to not know how immigration works, that women go into hard labor immediately, how medical ethics work, and that a club will have someone in rehab who isn't really a player.

Baseball Bride by Penny Wylder is a fast paced, sizzling, entertaining sports romance/marriage of convenience read.
This is Gillian and Ryon's story. She is a physical therapist who works with athletes and he is an injured baseball player. Ryon is a free agent but his injury has him possibly on a one way track back to Canada. His work visa is about to expire - this is about the time he was assigned to Gillian for therapy. Ryon didn't want to leave so he proposed marriage to Gillian. He found her extremely attractive and there was chemistry between them. She agreed and they went to Las Vegas to get married. The connection and chemistry between them is sizzling hot. I enjoyed the plot, characters and reading the way their marriage went from fake to real. Great story!!!

A hot shot baseball player needs a wife to stay in the country. Why not ask your PT? Lol. This book is funny and sweet. Gillian is insta lust when she sees Ryon for the first time. And the feeling is mutual. One quickly Vegas wedding later and they are on their journey to a happy ending. Loved the epilogue!

This book was ok. Lots of hot sex which is always good but I for some reason I couldn’t get into the story line. I was happy they Started working together and had a baby! One of the best scenes in the book was when she went into labor, how he freaked out at first but became her rock while in delivery! I love the HEA!

This is another hit out of the park by this author . The characters are great and and the chemistry is undeniable throughout the pages between them. I liked how easy the flow of the storyline was.

A cute sports romance read!

What started as a fake marriage becomes more as Gillian and Ryan gets pulled in by steamy chemistry. A fun storyline with great charters made for an entertaining sports romance read that although a a fast read will leave you satisfied. A definite must read for a sweet romance read.

Gillian is a physio that deals with sports injuries. In her new job she is assigned Ryon who is a baseball player only problem is his visa is about to run out so he stands a great chance of being sent back to Canada. Physical Therapy at its Best

There were a few misspelled words and I questioned the beginning of how she handled the jerk boss. In 2021 and all the movements that are empowering women it works have been nice to see her stuck it to him. My favorite part is her not denying how she felt when asked. Gil wanted Ry and they took the beautiful parts and made it work.

Quick Read

Hot chemistry, sexy baseball player, fake marriage. What more can you ask for? This was a quick read for me and went pretty fast. Storyline went fast as well so it felt a little rushed but overall this is a great story that you’ll enjoy.

Incredible Romance Story

Gillian and Ryon. They were connected from the start. She is a physical therapist and he is an injured baseball player . He has to get better so a team will sign him when he doesnt think they will he needs another way to stay in the us and not go back to Canada . He needs to get married and he was drawn to gillian from the moment he met her. It's an incredible story . I love everything about it . Great job Penny . A Homerun (no pun intended ) lol

A small private rehab practice,Solum Clinic and they currently working with the Silver Hawk, a pretty hot baseball team in the national league..Ryon is one of her patient and he has a big problem regarding his working visa,he need to sign a contract in any team who wants him or to look for a bride to marry him to not be deported back to canada;he love the states and he wanted to stay and play. so when he saw the new PT his very attracted to her like a moth to a flame so he just asked her and explained and she said yes,because she wanted to help him and shes attracted to him too..Now her world is upside down as their pretend relationship walks the edge of too real and too convenient. Is it fake or is it real?

Baseball Bride is another fast-paced, fun, sexy and romantic story by Penny Wylder. This is the story of Gillain and Ryon. He is a baseball star who has injured his shoulder and she is a physical therapist who specializes in athletes. When Gillian starts at a new facility, after having to quit her previous job because of her gross boss, her first patient is Ryon. After his injury Ryon was dropped by his team so he needs to be fully recovered so he can be picked up by another team. Otherwise he will have to move back to Canada, which he does not want to do. But Ryon has another suggestion also....a fake marriage with Gillian. The thing is that Ryon really wants Gillian for real, ever since he first saw her he knew they were meant to be together. So can he convince Gillian to be his bride and then to be truly his?

This is a fun, entertaining and sweet story. The story-line kept my attention and the characters were nicely written and developed. Plus there were some major sizzling and very sexy moments between the two. A very enjoyable book.

Gillian has been a physical therapist for athletes for a year with a team when her boss comes on to her and she quits after she rejects him and he threatens her. She moves on to another group and works on Ryan, a pitcher who has been injured and is looking for a new team. They are attracted to each other but she insists that hey maintain a therapist/patient relationship and not become lovers. Ryan is from Canada and when he realizes his work visa is about to expire he asks Gillian to marry him with no strings attached so he can stay in the US to find another baseball team. Will Ryan find a new team? Will Gillian and Ryan become more involved and find happiness together?

I give this instalove story 3.5 stars. Ryan and Gillian were instantly attracted but a therapist is generally more professional around their clients and the same is true of athletes. The epilogue was a nice ending for their story.

This very well written story has a good plot as well as interesting characters. These characters interactions are excellent and are well-constructed. The author created a great plot and cast of characters. Cannot wait to read more of her books. This is a must read. Penny Wylder has done it a very good job with a great book. I will be on the lookout for more books by this Author.

Penny Wylder has combined one of my favourite tropes with my favourite sport and the result is the super steamy, sweet and entertaining Baseball Bride. The chemistry between Ryon and Gillian is scorching from the very moment they meet. Gil is a sports medicine physical therapist who, after a horrible experience had her fleeing her last job, is seeking respect as one of the therapists of a national league baseball team. Ryon is a pitcher who is currently without a team, recovering from a rotator cuff injury, and is one of Gil's newest patients. When sparks fly AND Ryon suddenly needs a wife in order to be able to stay in the country, he proposes a marriage of convenience. But what happens when you are in a secret, no-strings, fake relationship and you fall in love?

OMG Penny! You did an exceptionally job on this story! This story is different,sweet, hot, and beautiful! I love this baseball player story. Gillian is a physical therapist for athletics. She is intelligent, sweet, beautiful woman and determine. When she quits her job and start working for another facility is when she meets Ryon. She's immediately incite by his presence. Ryon Daniels is a amazing ball player but gotten injured in his last game. Ryon is sweet, gentleman, smart,funny, and sexy. When he sees Gillian immediately he wants her. When a problem arise what will happen? The writing was done beautifully. The words flow throughout the story and pull you into their world. Amazing work again Penny Wylder 😘

Baseball Bride is a fast paced, insta love, marriage of convenience story is that full of heat!!

Gillian is a physical therapist for professional baseball players, after she quits her previous job due to her boss being a sleaze bag, she quickly finds a new position and her first patient is the insanely handsome, Ryon. Ryon is recovering from a shoulder injury and is at risk of being sent back to Canada if he isn’t picked up by another team and with that fear he suggests to Gillian that they should get married.

Ryon and Gillian have some insane amounts of chemistry. Sparks are flying off the pages from the moment they meet and only continue to grow hotter as the story continues.

Baseball Bride is a nice little steamy insta love story that is worth the read!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Ryon and Gillian. She's a physical therapist who works with baseball players.. Unfortunately her boss makes a unprofessional offer and she storms out. Finding a new job with another team, she vows to not get involved with any of her clients. Ryon hurt his shoulder and had been getting therapy. When he sees Gil, he finds her very attractive. So when he finds out his work visa will expire unless he gets another pitching job, while hurt, or get married. He approaches Gil with the proposal and she agrees. When starts at a fake relationship quickly turns into something more. Great HEA.

This was a sweet and sexy quick sports romance.

The story is very steamy, but also romantic with a hint of sexism that changes the life of heroine Gillian. She is a sports physiotherapist and her place and her body suggest to some men that she would be an easy lay. As a result, she must be extremely vigilant in her work, but also in her relationships, especially when she meets Ryon, a baseball player she treats.
This is a contemporary theme for a woman who is between defending her sexual freedom and going into hiding to protect her job and her reputation.

Gillian is a physical therapist who is starting a new job working with athletes who have been injuried. Ryon has had rotary cuff surgery and is in rehab so he can return to baseball. Gillian is really good at her job. Ryon needs the best. When they meet you know they have amazing smoking hot chemistry. Will they cross the line? It is fast-paced, steamy, sizzling drama, passion, lust and love ......so-o-o good. You will be hooked from the first page and you will not be able to put it down. The characters are likable/lovable with fabulous personalities.

I love this story of Ryon and Gil. It had the usual steam that Penny always gives us, but it was also just a really sweet story. I can honestly say that I wish it was longer. Due to an accusation, Gil is forced to find a new job. At her new job she meets Ryon, a baseball player who was injured and wanting to get back in the game. They have an immediate attraction from the moment the see each other and it progresses from there. Ryon asks Gil to marry him so he doesn't have to go back to Canada...and the rest is history.

I loved this book. I loved Gill and Ryon together. Gill and Ryon are instantly attracted to each other but Gill tries her best to keep things professional but fate has other things in mind for her and Ryon. Ryon has never felt drawn to a woman as he is with Gill. These are a wonderful couple but a misunderstanding and noncommunication from both parties could end this great couple before they truly have a chance to start. I would highly recommend this steam rom-com and this great author!

This is Gil and Ryon's story. He is a baseball player and needs to marry. So he marries his therapist. Their relationship grows from there but neither will admit it. This is a short story but it packs a lot into it. The characters are well written and the story is good one. I really liked this story. The only thing that gets me on a personal level is that she did not report the jerk doctor from her first job. It added to the story but I would have liked to see him get his.
