It's a little bit bittersweet writing this review, because this is the last book in the trilogy with Russ and Stephen! I have absolutely LOVED getting to read about their journey to love and a full HEA, and honestly, this entire story was a treat since I never knew we'd be getting a third/new story with them!

The third book starts off a couple years after Russ and Stephen get married. They are settled happily into domestic bliss, continuing to work and live together in happiness, and I just love how on the same they are as a couple. But when Russ starts volunteering at the LGBTQ+ youth group he's helped out at for years, he gets a new idea in his head - that he might be interested in fostering and adopting a young kid in need of stability and a home.

I just loved how well Stephen and Russ are now communicating, and their chemistry together is just as hot as it ever was - maybe even more so. They approached the idea of fostering and eventually adopting with maturity and openness, and I loved it. The kid they wind up fostering is sweet, and so obviously in need of love and a home and acceptance and yearning for it, while also afraid of being hurt. Austin is a good kid, and I feel like readers will just fall for him and want him to be a part of Russ and Stephen's life.

I don't want to give too much away, but I will say that the epilogue is just BEYOND sweet, and it leaves me hoping that we might get a story where Austin is now the MC in his own journey to finding forever love?

This trilogy is best read in order, and I'd read Evan and Jeremy's story as well, since they are involved throughout the series and show up here as well. I LOVE this series, it's one of my favorite age gap romances. And I look forward to what Brigham Vaughn has in store for us next!

I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This review is for the entire series. Wow! What an epic tale! This is not your typical romance. It almost reads like a documentary of these two men's life. You get the romance and heated sex scenes, yes, but you also get a complex and detailed story of their life which is filled with ups, downs, unexpected moments, and growth and development over time. It was far more realistic, grounded, and real that most romances you'll likely read. Overall, I found the entire series to be well-told and enjoyed seeing the progression from book to book.

Full Balance, the third book in the Peachtree series, is a wonderful read. This Brigham Vaughn book easily picks up on Russ and Stephen's life a couple years after their wedding.

Now married, Russ and Stephen are in a great place in their lives. But things are ever changing and they need to deal with Russ's new interest in being foster parents.

Austin's a teen at the LGBT center who suddenly he needs a new foster home. His backstory is heart wrenching, and his abandonment issues had me wanting to take care of him myself. If anyone needs some love and stability infused into their lives, it's Austin. He's a fantastic addition to their lives with the author exploring some of the natural complications that arise.

Russ and Stephen continue to be a great couple who perfectly balance one another. Loving. Supportive. Encouraging. And of course they're still sizzling together. They are just perfect for each other.

I adore the way the author explores that change is okay. Change happens and the unknown doesn't always have bad results. The men have to deal with some inconveniences, but know the benefits outweigh the negatives.

The writing is great, just as we've come to expect from this author. The characters and storyline are well developed. There are some secondary characters who add a lot of charm to the story. It's a long read, with plenty of details, but I enjoyed it all.

Full Balance is a sweet and heart-warming book by Brigham Vaughn. It's a long read so be prepared to spend so time with this family. You won't be disappointed. And the epilogue is beautiful!

A wonderful ending to this wholesome series about finding love and family. I’ve loved the journey Russ and Stephen have taken and I enjoyed that this one was focused on how they have settled into their married lives. It is honestly a treat that we got this instalment to see more of their HEA, and it comes with them opening up their lives to the sweetheart that is Austin. Austin’s story will make your heart ache a little, but with Russ and Stephen there for him, it all ends happily and beautifully. I highly recommend this series if you’re looking for something feel-good with a good range of emotional complexity and character growth, and so so much love.

This is the third and final book in the series. The author once again brings Stephen and Russ , still as strong and in love after two and a half years. Volunteering at the LGBTQ and youth group , Russ thinks he's interested in fostering and adopting a youth in need of a home. Their new addition just adds even more love in their home. I enjoyed seeing past characters and enjoyed reading their story. I especially loved the epilogue! Highly recommend this book/series.

Great ending for an excellent series.
This book has been more than two years since Stephen and Russ's marriage, and the relationship remains sexy and stable.
They decide to volunteer for LGBTQ youth and meet Austin
I'm not going to say anything else to try this great book.

Love Begets Love!

Russ & Stephen are falling in love again with a complicated, surly young teen named Austin, let the turmoil begin. Same good storytelling as the last two books in this series. As mentioned, the story is heavy on detail, a bit charming, full of well-developed characters with a soap opera-ish premise. Enjoyable!
I do want to know: did Addie & Joseph get married? Will there be a Marcus & Dan love story?

First off I just want to say, "say it ain't so, this can't be the end of Russ and Stephen". Okay I got that off my chest😉. I have loved these two since Brigham Vaughn originally released their story in what was then called Equals and kept devouring their journey with each new entry in that series. In the past few months when she re-released them in The Peachtree Series, I once again fell in love with the pair all over again. Now we see the finale to their journey or at least until Russ and Stephen decide it's time to fill Miss Vaughn on any further adventures😉😉.

I always knew they would make a great parenting team, especially the way they helped young Evan out(if you have yet to read this series then you definitely to need go out and experience it because I won't go into who Evan is so not spoil anything). In Full Balance we get to see how they truly put their parental nature into play. I just love Austin and that the author made him a snarky teenager who in his own way reminds me a little of both Russ and Stephen, even though we never actually saw either of them at that age in real time but through other factors(again not spoiling previous parts of their journey) I think we got to know just, at least to some degree, what the men might have been like in Austin's place.

Too often in entertainment forms, snarky teenagers can be written/portrayed as over the top to the point you just want to . . . well give them some serious time outs and they become not very likeable because of it to the point you don't cheer for them, you don't care if they get their HEA/HFN(it breaks my heart when I read those stories but it happens). Brigham Vaughn does not do that with Austin. Are there times when I want to strangle him? Sure, but mostly I just want to wrap him up in the biggest Mama Bear Hug I possibly can so he never forgets that he is loveable and deserving of said love. His journey that brought him to Russ and Stephen's door will drag you through an emotional wringer but it's also very realistically told, not over the top, not melodramatic, just honest, heart-hurting, and again it makes me want to pull him into a hug and never let go. Having mentioned strangling Austin, truth is, there are times I want to strangle Russ and Stephen too but that's what makes Full Balance a compelling story.

Okay, so I feel like I may have already overstepped my normal "no spoiler" mantra so I'll stop here but just know that if you have been following Russ and Stephen, be it from the original Equals series or the currently re-released Peachtree series, then you don't want to miss Full Balance. If you have not been along for their ride, well what are you waiting for? Their May/December romance blossoms into a full blown love affair that has no age limit, has no end(even though this is actually the finale😉). You won't regret it. Full Balance is realistically and beautifully written tale of friends, love, family, and it's jam packed with heart.

I was given a free arc copy from the author for review.

This is not a standalone. This is the 3rd book for this particular couple and the 4th book in the series. There was also Trust the Connection which is about Stephen's ex Jeremy and the young man named Evan that Stephen and Russ met at Stephens fathers funeral. There will also be other books in the series so I will definitely be keeping my eye out for those. Every book in this series has been fantastic.

This book was a wonderful way to conclude this couples story. It starts 2 years after the end of book 2, after the wedding. At first they are just going about their daily routine of work and volunteering at a youth center when they meet the sweet teenager named Austin and are inspired to become foster parents. Luck is on their side when Austin finds himself once again orphaned just as Rus and Stephen are finishing their approval and they are able to take him home. My heart went out to this poor boy who also happened to be pansexual. I was so glad he ended up with Russ and Stephen.

This is such a heartwarming story with all the feels. Each of the books in this series have been this way. I can't describe how much I have loved this whole series. The 2 MCs have such great chemistry and a beautiful love that just makes you swoon. There's so many happy moments and then there's moments with their foster kid Austin that just make your heart ache for him but also feel happy cause he's finally in a loving home. Of course Austin is skeptical at first and it's a little bit of a struggle as one would assume but compared to some stories I've seen on the subject it goes quite well. I was pleasantly surprised cause I don't really like books with kids where there's lot's of drama. Also, I was pleased that despite having a new kid they still were able to make time for throwing in some sexy moments.

Just like the other books in this series, this is a page turner that you don't want to put down. The plot stays interesting the whole way through. I will say the first 20% is slow with lots of talk just about their jobs and day to day routines but once it got over that slow build up the other 80% was great. So if u too find yourself kinda drifting off there in the beginning just know it gets interesting around that 20% mark. So I'll take off like half a star for that cause I had to put the book down a few times that first part and I couldn't get into it til it got interesting. If there was some way to shorter that part or throw in some more interesting details that would of been better.

Overall, a great book and a great series. I will revisit them again over and over in the future and I look forward to more books in this series. I highly recommend all of them.

I was both dreading and looking forward to this book. I loved this series from the moment Stephen spilled his coffee on the stairs, to their I Dos, and now when they start the next leg of their journey: parenthood.

I mean, it’s only ‘natural’, right? Not necessarily! Stephen and Russ have had the family discussion. They were on the same page. No kids. Life is funny, sometimes, and can turn on a dime. After filling in at a center for kids who need a place to go, Russ starts having thoughts that he can’t shake, and wonders if he can change Stephen’s mind as well. He wants them to become foster parents to a teenager who needs someone to give them a chance.

This was a beautiful story, and such a perfect way to end a series. Stephen and Russ have weaseled their way into my heart. They just make me smile. Best fictitious couple of the year. They’ve come a long way in their relationship, and their love for each other is evident. They’re not lacking the heat, either! Valentine’s Day may never be the same after reading how theirs went. Hubba hubba.

The writing was superbly done. The imagery was spot on throughout the entire book. I didn’t feel like I was reading a book. I felt like I was in the story, living it. As usual, I got lost in Russ and Stephen's land. I found myself wanting to read book one all over again, before I even finished chapter 2. This series is absolutely going with my favorite rereads. The story may be over, but I’m not ready to say goodbye. I’m not sure I ever will be.

The characters are some of my favorites. We get to see Evan and Jeremy again. The workers at Open Doors were fantastic, and Marcus was a godsend. I found myself hoping Austin and Toby get a book sometime down the road. I feel it in my bones. There’s a story there. Now, if they’d just start conversing with Brigham Vaughn, that’d be great. (Get on it, boys!)

Full Balance is the continuing story of Russ and Stephen, an established couple who have a comfortable life and great friends. Brigham Vaughn adds a whole new level when Russ decides that their cozy life should be shared by offering all they have with someone less fortunate – by seeking to become a foster family.

We get to experience the benefit of the solid foundation built in the previous two books with the trust and maturity shown by both main characters as they explore this new dynamic in their relationship. It’s a tricky situation to navigate in text, and as with her previous books in the series, Brigham does an exemplary job of setting a pace that allows the reader to digest the complex emotions, and the plot to continue, maintaining high engagement.

This book is a little different in that it has another main character in the foster child, Austin. He is a wonderful protagonist, full of complicated emotions; and the symbiosis between Austin, Russ and Stephen is superbly written. It brings the reader through the rollercoaster of highs and lows of teenage life – showing both parental and child points of view.

The wider cast of side characters brings this world into full colour, from Austin’s troubled sister Kellie to Russ and Stephen’s friends Jeremy and Evan, the diversity of the cast makes the story an ever-changing landscape and one that lets you enjoy the inside jokes that only sticking with a series can do.

Full Balance is not a standalone – you will need to enjoy the first two books in the Peachtree series to be able to follow Stephen, Russ and Austin’s journey in this beautiful composition by Brigham Vaughn. But I promise, readers who enjoy travelling with characters through their developmental passage will adore this series and this book in particular.

This is the third book in this series. While it makes it easier to have read the other books first, it is not necessary to follow and enjoy this story. This is the continuation of Russ and Steven's story. Newly married, they have settled in for wedded bliss. Russ encourages Steven to give back to the LGBTQ community. They both end up volunteering at the Open Doors Shelter. Usually working behind the scenes; their professional skill set being put to good use. One day with a manning shortage Russ ends up working the front door of the shelter. It is there that he first meets Austin and his sister. Austin resonates with Russ and he wants to do more to help him. It is at this point that both Steve and Russ's life takes a radical change. This is the story of how their relationship and family grows. There is a lot of seriousness but also enough laughable events so as to not make the story too heavy. Though I have to say, Steven's ex-boyfriend was my favorite character. A good continuation to the series.

This book is amazing! The continuation of the sweet and wonderful love story of Stephen and Russ, this time, they have come to the decision to be foster parents. Working at the center has been amazing for them and when Russ meets Austin, he begins to see the need for him and Stephen to do more, like become foster parents. Neither wanted kids but they decide after some thought to go for it. This will lead them to Austin, a young man who loses his foster home when the husband gets a job out of state and they can't take Austin since his date still has parental rights, despite being in jail. This is when Russ and Stephen decide to step in and they open their home and hearts to Austin. It is a very bumpy ride but they just keep trying their best to give Austin the home he deserves. They will be rewarded by watching him grow to an amazing young man, fulfilling their lives in ways they never knew possible.

YES YES YES YES
OMG I was so glad to read about Stephen and Russ again I really missed these guys.
I don’t really wanna give much away because obviously this is the third book in the series but to say that these guys are happy with their life with each other every day brings them closer together they are just a perfect pair..

So these guys are still volunteering and they work at the youth centre. This is where they meet Austin and it makes them rethink everything They thought they wanted out of life. But will their decision make them happy or will this just be too much for them.

I just couldn’t put this book down it was amazing there is something about Stephen & Russ. the way their stories are told that just grips you, I just couldn’t put this book down.
This is one series you really want to read. But make sure to Have all your housework done or finished work for the day and make a cuppa, get some snacks because once you start you’re just not gonna wanna put it down.

Excellent next phase, jumping off the deep end, parenting. Russ and Stephen were settled into married life. Their careers were booming and they were happy. They volunteered at Open Doors, a LGBTQ community center as a form of giving back and reaching out to help others. Russ, met a preteen, Austin at the center and felt an empathetic pull, while not really understanding why. He and his sister , Kellie were in the foster care system until she aged out. Austin spent a lot of time returning to the center to look for Kellie who chose to live out of her car. Russ and STephen decided to apply to be foster parents hoping they would get assigned Austin. Do they qualify as a couple? Are they lucky enough to be approved to foster Austin? Does Austin find Kellie? Does new parenting strain Russ and Stephen's relationship? Do they have a good support system in old friends and family? Absolutely delifhtful and excellent story flow. The characters are strong and likeable. Well done! After finished reading this book I am equal parts sappy-grim, heart-full happy and a bit sad, because this is the last chapter of Russ and Stephen’s story.
Having been married for ore than two years, Russ and Stephen are still going strong, they have a stable and loving relationship, a fulfilling if very demanding job, and an intensely satisfying and sometimes a bit kinky sex life.
Volunteering in a LGBTQ+ youth center is icing on the cake, but also what leads them to start thinking, maybe adding a puzzle piece to their family, while helping a teenager in need is the next step for them.
Cue in Austin, a 13 years-old foster kid: a bit skittish and disillusioned, and in desperate need of love and stability. He’s so cute I wanted to hug him!
Stephen and Russ’s journey into fatherhood is not without bumps in the road, but it was so good to ride along.
I must admit I will miss this series a lot!

This is the final installment of Russ and Stephen's story, and it doesn't disappoint. Happily married and doing well at work, their stable, predictable lives are upended when they take in foster son Austin. There's a nice balance in this book of the emotional turmoil of fostering a teenager, creating a family, and maintaining a marriage. There are lots of emotions, but there's a lot of love and understanding to go along with all the drama. It's particularly nice to see the steady equilibrium Ross and Stephen's relationship has settled into: they're finally equal partners, and it works for them both. The supporting characters are as awesome as ever, and I'm holding out hope that a few will eventually get books of their own. A truly satisfying read.

I hate that this series is coming to an end. Russ and Stephen romance was delighted to read and they got their full circle with family, friends, and a child. These two have a special place in my heart after Russ became emotionally attached to a teenager that comes to the LGBTQ center that he and Stephen volunteer at. They decided to become foster parents so Austin would not have to go group home. They had to learn how to balance having a teenager in the house, dealing with families, and trying to work at the same time. Even though they had all this their love for each other and the chemistry between these two never change. Their book is sweet, romantic, funny, and very realistic and I enjoyed it.

Stephen and Russ stole my heart from the first book in their trilogy! The relationship the author created and both their personalities were unique and very well thought out! This last part of their journey is a bitter sweet one for me - it is brilliant and was a pure pleasure to read, but I'm sad that's it!
I'm not always enthusiastic about a series following one couple through several books, as they tend to become repetitive over time. There was none of that here. Each book, including this one, brought new qualities to the characters, development of their relationship and challenges to overcome. All wrapped up in great writing too!
All in all, this book is a beautiful finale to an amazing journey. If you like age gap stories with heaps of baggage and angst, grab it!

Russ Bishop and Stephen Parker have a strong marriage, a beautiful condo with lots of room, successful jobs. There is just one thing missing, maybe the next step for them? Doing volunteer work with young people who need love and guidance gives them a chance to foster snarky teen Austin. This is what has been missing, and having him join their family will change their lives for the better!

I hate to see this series end. The stability in their little family is perfect, the love they have always shared is more than enough to spill over to a young person’s life and make a difference. I hope the author will re-visit this family in spin-off’s or whatever else it takes. We don’t want to let go of something this good.

We're in the next installment of the Peachtree Series.

Stephen and Russ have finally settled into their happily ever after, to now include wedded bliss. Add a spacious new home and all is well in their space.

Why not another curve ball named parenthood. It wasn't in the cards for them. Volunteering at a shelter, Open Doors, gave context as to how many LGBTQ youth end up there and nowhere else to turn. Russ meets a snarky teen names Austin. What began as unplanned became so much more. The family unit they never knew each other needed.

Satisfyingly wonderful series. Perhaps Austin will get his own book. Perhaps complete his story.

Stephen and Russ are happy and moving forward successfully as a couple when we meet them again. The are married and stable and doing good things philanthropically and at work. They are complete as a couple until Russ starts actually working at the LGBTQ center and being there and growing fond of Austin makes him rethink the fact that their lives are complete. Austin brings a new element into their lives and them bringing him in makes a difference in his. This was such a good series about the evolution of this couple and it ends with the development of a family.

Watching how Russ and Stephen’s relationship has matured and weathered difficulties, while still growing closer and not losing sight of what’s important . . . This is relationship goals and I am so sad the series is over. I love how real they are and how their friends become family. It’s great to reread the first book after this and see how far they’ve come.

Without giving spoilers, they are both content in their life together until something happens that makes them want more. They have to work together to achieve this new goal, while still making their relationship a priority. The writing flows beautifully and naturally. I hope to see more of these characters in the future.

In the third instalment of Russ and Stephen's story, they begin to think about becoming foster parents to an LGBTQ child, maybe even adopting it.
From contemplating to the problems of parenting while both are on a full time job, especially parenting of an unstable teen.
A lot of ups and downs follow the two, as they learn by try and error.
A good story, that shows the difficulties of parenting, and especially of daring to take foster children.
Engagingly written, the reader feels fully along Russ and Stephen.

After a couple years of wedded bliss they decide to adopt Austin from the lbtq shelter they volunteer at. Austin is desperately in need of love and support and what better people then Russ and Stephen to give that safe environment for him. I am so happy to say after not feeling 100% happy with the first two books that their communication is on point and any issues that have arrived are dealt with maturity and class. They have grown so much over the series and I'm glad that all the love they share is being shown to Austin. So much growing up for the pair of them and such happiness between their family.
