ARIS IS MINE
This was a great addition to the duet and I was already intrigued by Valentina and Aris from how Wanted ended.
What started like an innocent friendship soon turned into a depraved game between a prince used to getting what he wanted and a naïve girl that had to learn to survive in the cutthroat world of the Katantia royals.
Aris was an ass, and he did a LOT of fucked up shit, but Valentina more than rose up to the challenge and how she got back to him truly wrecked him.
It's not a black and white story, and it may get uncomfortable at times, but I really loved the ending. I was wondering how such a toxic couple would get a HEA, but they did, and it was so satisfying how it all wrapped up!!
Is this my favorite couple from the Katantia universe? Maybe.
Kamilla is still my favorite but I prefer the dynamic between Aris and Valentina.

An eye opening, dark and twisted story that was filled with captivating scenes and unbelievably fascinating characters. I enjoyed this story though some parts were hard to read. I thought the author definitely relayed their chemistry and their darkness perfectly.

Can I tell you how much I didn't like Valentina or Aris at first. I really didn't, especially in the first book.They really got under my skin for some reason. But this book, this book changed it all for me. From the second I started this book, I was in a trance. These two captivated me, their dynamic and being able to get such a better understanding of them really made the entire experience even better. I really don't want to say much because I don't want to give anything away. Just know that if you love a great dark age gap that will leave you with all the emotions. An absolute must read from me. Books one and two MUST be read first before reading this book.
Valentina or Aris are hands down my favorite couple in Katantia!!

I really wish this was longer. I love aris and Valentina's story. Seeing another dude to their relationship was an eye opener, nothing is what it seems. It was a nice ending to this series. I love PJ she is so precious 😍. This book took me by surprise, I thought this was gonna be a full on smut read but instead we got a heartfelt story about aris & Valentina's struggle as a couple and individuals.

Valentina’s and Ari’s journey is dark and twisted and has finally come to an end ! This book is dirty dark and twisted but this couple captivated me right from the start and pull me in the steam the chemistry the storyline this book was very well written and is a definite must read for dark age gap romance lovers !

After Wanted wasn't it for me, Obsessed is some other level I truly enjoyed. It's dark and also different. It's heartbreaking in so many ways. We see the dynamics and how everything started between them.
To be honest, after Aris' accident in Wanted I've been really looking forward for the time when he finally wake up or doesn't...but it didn't happened there ... it happened in this novella.
He woke up in Obsessed and wasn't the same man he was before and was also shocked, like me, by the things he had done to V (I repeated 'no, no, no, no, no ...' in my head while reading one special scene)
Valentina, well, we can finally see what's going on in her mind. Buuuut the moment, as she went to the king to take revenge on Aris ... I just wanted to crawl into the book and shake some sense into her, because of what she offered to him. 😱 I still can't believe it.
All in all I was on edge reading this book - in a good way.
The book is written in dual POV and it's changing between past and present to become an insight of how everything started between them, to how everything fell apart and how they found back together.
If you enjoyed Exposed and Wanted, you need to read this one!

New author for me.
I saw a rec for this book and fell into it, not realising I was reading out of order but doesn't phase me that there are characters I know about before I go for their books... and I definitely am, after reading this.
I have to be honest, I rated this a 4 because I was a little frustrated with the plot.
I didn't feel that the lead female character really had a good reason for some of the things she did. Unless having your fantasy world flipped on it's head and she no longer had those rose coloured lenses on.
I put it down to post partum in the end. But lord their journey got painful for a wee bit.
Overall I didn't hate this book (seeing as I'm going to get book 1 & 2) and though I really dislike books where cheating is involved, this book didn't glorify it or have it in your face. You knew it was happening but the author didn't make it horrible.
One or two things could have been explained a bit more in the why's and how but these I may find in the other books.
I'll be looking up the authors work in Wattpad.

Obsessed is the story of Valentina and Aris. It starts from pretty much where there part in book 2 finished.
This book is dual POV and flicks between the present and the past so you get a complete understanding of how Valentina and Aris met to how they got to their present state. There are triggers in the book if you are uncomfortable with certain things, however, if you have read the first two books then the scenes in this book aren’t anywhere near as bad in my opinion.
Valentina and Aris had such a complicated relationship I wondered how it would play out in end, but it was written perfectly. I won’t say what and how so not ruin it, but I enjoyed how Aris’s character was written.
A good book, which definitely tied up all the loose ends from Wanted. These books must be read in order otherwise you won’t be able to follow the story.

This final novella in the Wraith Royals gives us the obsession/love story of Valentina and Aris. There is a 9 year age gap between these two and when an 11 year old Valentina tells Aris she will marry him one day, he doesn't correct her. As she gets older, 15-16 years old, he starts to see the woman she will become and plans to hold her to her promise. We get a lot of their back story for a reason.
In the last book, Aris was in a coma from a car accident meant to take his life. Instead he wakes up with no memories of his life, the good nor the bad. Let's just say there are a lot of ugly memories in he and Valentina's past. We get to learn about their past through flashbacks, as Valentina tries to move on. She doesn't want this kinder, empathetic Aris, and he doesn't want to be the man he was. The more he learns about himself, the more guilt and disgust he feels. This leads to the break down of their marriage, but he has a daughter he needs to think of. At first he avoids seeing her, thinking both Penelope Jane and Valentina are better off without him. Valentina slowly starts to build a life for herself outside of being Aris' wife. When Aris came back into her life just before her 18th birthday, he threw all her plans for a career and leaving Katantia on the fire. Rhey became each other's obsession even after a brutal betrayal on Aris' side.
Valentina starts to get some of her spark back and Aris starts to deal with his own trauma from the accident and memory loss.
Aris and Valentina were such a toxic couple in the first book. This book helped me see why their relationship developed as it did and how they healed from their shared traumatic past. This book only whetted my appetite for more secondary character back stories.

I will say this NOW, IF YOU DON'T LIKE TABOO STORIES DON'T READ THIS BOOK.
If you read Exposed and Wanted you would of already met Valentina and Aris and this book starts when that book ends. For me Valentina comes across a full blown bitch, in the first book I only saw that side to her and towards the end of Wanted and in this book you see her in a whole new light. This book is set in the past and present. In the past you see why she's like the way she is, what's she's been through, it's a lot, some parts hurts to read. I don't know how she survives it all but she does. My opinion on her changed instantly after reading her past, she is so missed judged. She has this wall and no one can seem to bring it down.
She is a woman who does everything she needs to do to survive in a F**ked. up world.
Valentina goes through so much in her short life, I kept forgetting that she's only 21.!! Arabella writes her story so well. She is nothing like Mandy or Kamila and I love that. Her story is my favrite out of the three.
Let's talk about Aris the super hot, dirty mouthed playboy prince.... I didn't love him, he is a shit, he lives in sin. He only knows a world where it's okay to abuse woman, to treat them badly. They are sex objects, that's the Katerina life. He knows no other way and it's not his fault. He does some awful things to Val. Him and Valentina have always had kind of an open relationship, and she's okay with that until things change for her.
Without ruining it... something happens to Aris and it's amazing.. it's bad but I say it amazing because he needs this thing to happen to him so he becomes the man he is at the end of this book. By the end of this book I have fallen in love with him and everything he has become.
There journey is unexpected, twisted but it's one that is gripping, you will start this book and not want to stop reading.
She's all the magic I need in my life, dark, mysterious and beautiful.
This book has the perfect ending not only for Aris and Valentia but, Mandy, Weston, Kamila, Alex and Fylox.

Obsessed by Arabella Black is dark age-gap erotica. It's part of the Wraith Royals series.
I will start with the technicalities: It's a well-written book, it has a dual pov and it alternates between present and past. The descriptions are very detailed which makes it easier to picture the scenes. There are no grammatical or spelling errors.
About the plot: It's a really dark romance. Half of the story is about their past where it recounts some monumental moments of their personal lives. It's also the part that contains the triggers, rape, humiliation, objectification of the females, suicide. The other half is about the present time which is more tamed and it's about their new strained relationship and their kid. It's a raw and intense erotic story, there is no sugarcoating. The only happiness is in the ending scene.
About the characters: Aris has shown many sides of himself. He was kind, loving, ruthless, protective. He changed throughout the book. While he became a better person Valentina got worst. She was this cute innocent kid, then the sad hurt teenager, and her ending phase was the
bitter and vengeful adult. I didn't like her at all, to me she wasn't redeemable.
If you choose to read it as a standalone, like me, you have to pay extra attention in order to get the pieces for this strange puzzle.
Reading Obsessed was an experience for me. It's definitely one of the top five hardcore dark romance books I have ever read. It gave me chills while reading some parts of it. It has an intensity that sucks you in. It's an incredible and unique story that I only recommend to those who love this genre, it isn't for the faint hearts. I will rate it with 4 stars.

Though this is a stand-alone, this story does make more since if you have read the prior two books, Exposed and Wanted.
Now this book gives us more insight into the relationship of Val and Aris. They are dis-functional, semi-abusive characters. Where in the prior books these two characters had me mostly tettering between disgust and annoyance, I got to see Aris as more than the playboy, whoring prince and Val for something other than a whiny, gold-digging b!tch.
They were selfish and self-serving people, but in this story the reader is able to peel back the layers and see beyond first glance.
These books are dark, taboo, and full of triggers. The author creates a world that is full of angst and turmoil. But, this story will have you appreciating these characters and the real depth of development they reach in this book.

Oh this story!! It is that perfect mixture of darkness, heartbreak and characters that I couldn't let go of.
OBSESSED is my first book from Arabella and it's very well written. I'm a sucker for a dark romance and this story delivered that piping hot. It's not without some really twisted things but I expected that and would have been disappointed if it didn't.

Valentina and Ari's story will have you glued to the pages all the way! reading previous book is best to understand the background but can be read standalone. the story goes back and forth to give a complete picture of their story together, their highs and lows and all the hot steam inbetween. the characters work well and the story is engaging and never a dull moment.

Wow I didn’t expect this read to be so awesome! I don’t know why. One thing I can say that I’m kicking myself for is that I didn’t read the previous book so I was a little lost. But the steaminess and the storyline pulled me in! I recommend!

I always wondered what it was about Aris and Valentina and how they became the supposed power searching couple shown especially in book one. Well this book gives you the answers! Once I was hooked the pages just seemed to vanish. I look forward to the next steps for the wraith family

Valentina and Aris's journey had a few bumps along the way but these two were made for each other. Their attraction was strong, they were drawn to each other, their chemistry was steamy, they were good together.

In this last book of the Wraith Royals, the protagonists are Valentina and Aris and their twisted love story.
A toxic and obsessive love, in which both show love by hurting each other. Once you finish, you see the hell that this couple has gone through and that, as they have always claimed, no one can understand their love and their relationship except them.
My heart broke at times and at others I wanted to yell at them.
I love the change in Aris as a result of his accident, although I have lacked more details about his new life as a divorcee and teacher. Who was going to say it!
I ❤️the changes in Valentina too, in the first book I hated her.
I will miss the Wraiths, this crazy family is unique, but I will not miss the old Katantia. Long live the Queen!

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. This is the story of Valentina and Ari. This book had me captivated from the start it is erotic, dark and twisted with the age gap romance and it has finally come to an end. Worth reading the trilogy.

2.5 for me
It was ok, but not what I was expecting. The book jumps from past to present a lot.
What I took away from reading this book were; the insecurities, depression, hurt and lack of self-worth. Then them coming together and become the family they were meant to be.
I'm not sure how it has the dark and erotica tags, because I didn't feel them while reading the book. With the exception of the rape and 2 of the encounters with her brother it wasn't a dark read (they weren't really dark to read either).
All the cheating was a bit irritating.
There were countless times that Valentina's character annoyed the crap out of me.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story is a dark and complicated romance between two people you do not really care for. From the first of the series Valentina did not seem to be redeemable, but this book changes things. We see the reasons for her walls much clearer. Aris is a sexy and ruthless Katantia playboy. He does what he wants and takes what he wants. Valentina may not ever change that. These two have a history and a current messed up relationship. This book contains a lot of triggers and gray areas. They took the hardest road of heartbreak to find happiness. I do not think that this was my favorite book of the Wraith Royals, but I could not put it down.

Let’s face it, the only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because I’ll never be a Valentina fan 🤣
No matter what redeemable things she does.
As usual, READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE STARTING.
If you’ve read the first two books, you know the types of triggers that could be brought up. If you haven’t, why are you even reading the 3rd book?
Now, putting aside my issues with V. I did enjoy the amount of background we get into how the relationship between V & Aris started and then progressed.
It does make quite a few things that happened in the previous books make sense now.
I WAS SUPER ECSTATIC OVER THE EPILOGUE 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Let's start with how much I love this series, the first two books were amazing and I absolutely loved them and their crazy world they live in.

Obsessed has you sitting on the edge of your seat. Arabella tells a age gap story of love, heartbreak and second chances. Valentina has always love Aris since she was a young girl. She was bullied while growing up knows she has no friends but Aris, who is 10 years her senior, helps her out. Aris is a playboy and gets any woman he want.
He leaves for school & Valentina grows up while he's gone. Upon his return there is hatred, love and marriage but not the way you would want to be married.
The author has so many twists and turns that you get hooked.

Obsessed is the dark and twisted story of a young girl falling for the handsome prince but finding out he is not so charming. We get to see such a different side to Valentina and Aris in this book. Their relationship is gut-wrenching, brutal and chaotic. Will they be able to overcome the heartbreak to find true love? This is a well written, enticing read.
