Jaxson Carter
Jaxson is the troubled lead singer of the popular rock band Limitless. After one wild night on stage, Jaxson ends up in the ER with a concussion and broken wrist, drunkenly flirting with the hot ER doctor to no avail.
After partying like a rockstar Jaxson realizes that Dr. Ella Davis would make the perfect date to his brother’s upcoming wedding, where he needs to impress his highly judgmental family. The only problem is that Ella doesn’t want anything to do with him.
This book lived up to its description. This is my first book by this author and I'm not sure if I want to read another book from this series just yet.
In the very first chapter there are two obvious mistakes, first the manager's name is Chad and not two sentences later his name was changed to Brad and then back to Chad. Second the male of the love story broke his wrist and yet they talked about him sitting on his hands??? This one of my biggest pet peeve and turn off from an author when I purchase a book in good faith.
There was a lot of that in this book and I hope they pay greater attention to details in the rest of the series.
This Fake Romance, Enemies to Lovers Novel is a very well-written story with characters that have started on a lie, but come to love each other on the way if they allow it. These characters are very well-constructed with depth and history and has lots of action. This story is interesting with some great chemistry. This story is interesting and entertaining and a must read Rock star and ER doctor lovers
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked the story, but Emma's character was a little annoying with how she dealt with her ex. Just tell him you're not interested and let Jax know. For God's sake she's a doctor and director and should have more balls to make a decision. I thought the premise of the fake dates was cute.
Starting another one of this author's books. I like that they are stand alone stories and not cliff banners. Would recommend.
A nice rockstar romance. It's a fun, easy read. I did note several typos and that the story would benefit from a good editor, but most of the mistakes are easy to ignore and don't detract from the story. I enjoyed watching the Dr. loosen up and the rockstar grow up (just a little). Good read.
This is a nice flowing read. No anxiety attack from trauma or real obstacles, but themselves. Just a very pleasant and enjoyable read and romance. A great palate cleansing read after a emotional rollercoaster book. I really needed this one
I got half way and gave up. its terrible. The story and style it isnt for me. I found it childish at times i wanted too cringe. I didnt like the characters and found it rushed.
