I have reviewed each book in this box set individually and have included my reviews of them below. I wasn't wild about the first two books; the first one had some very peculiar moments. I enjoyed the characters of the third book much more, but it had issues as well.
The Duke’s Marriage of Convenience: Started Off OK, Then Got Weird It's hard to know precisely how to write this review. There were some things that I liked, some things that I definitely didn't like, and some things that just left me scratching my head, wondering what the author was doing.
Spoilers to come, so skip if you don’t like spoilers.
In general, too, I didn't feel like the motivations for all the characters were clear, and that muddied the story even more. Why did the duke actually want an arranged marriage with this particular family? It was never made clear. The former friend... why would he want to marry his former good friend using blackmail and treat her in such a way?
I feel like this story started with potential, but then it got really weird and off the mark in the second half.
----------------------------
An Unconventional Bride: Good Start and Then…. I quite enjoyed the sparks that flew when the hero and heroine met. At first, it looks like it might have been a meeting of minds, but then the hero ruins all with his chauvinistic attitude. I enjoyed watching the early sparring between them. But then things got out of hand very quickly. The hero's brother decides that the two of them just need to stay in a room until they work out their differences. They start fighting, of course. But then things get intimate. I mean really intimate,, and with how they had been sniping at each other the whole way along, it just didn't make sense at all. And the way the heroine phrases some things—oh, my gosh! I just didn't buy any of it. It might be one thing to go from disliking each other to starting to appreciate the other person's good side and not just being aggravated by their faults. But it is quite another thing to jump into intimacy like that. This book just did not work for me.
----------------------------
Marrying Her Best-Friend: Some Issues But Great Characters I absolutely adored the characters in this book. Poor Lizzie, the heroine! She is being treated despicably by the “ladies” of the ton because of false rumors spread by a wicked man. Only her family and her best friend Carson appear to believe her. Carson, the hero, clearly adores her but has never let his feelings be known because he doesn't believe he, as a tradesman's son, is worthy of a duke's daughter—even if his family is wealthy and has influence. His evil sister does something behind his back which is absolutely despicable, especially for a decent man who would want to sort things out well. While I loved the characters and their rocky road to an HEA, I did not like other things about this story. The author had rather large info dumps for the first scenes told from the two viewpoint characters. I never like to see that in a story. It had been a while, too, since I had read the previous books, so I had forgotten some details. A little recap separate from the story, before it started, would have been lovely. I appreciate when authors write a paragraph recap in a later book in a series before the story starts. In this story, I felt like I was thrown into the middle of something that hadn't been explained enough, and I don't like the temporary confusion that could have been easily solved by a brief recap. I also found the writing to be awkward at times. Some turns of phrase don't sound right in my ear as I read, and some words don't seem quite right. However, this story and these characters were so strong that I enjoyed the story anyway despite its flaws.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Book 1 – The Duke's Marriage of Convenience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An arranged marriage finds hope, then sours, then finds true love. I adored the h she is a formidable young woman. She is honest, true to herself and speaks her mind. She adores all many of God's creatures but especially horses. She has a kinship with them. The H realized his duty to marry and provide an heir for his dukedom. He agreed to the arranged marriage sight unseen of his betrothed. Neither were exactly thrilled about the arrangement. The H wished he never had to marry and the h wanted to marry for love. The H had a bad experience in the past and the result was he cut off his emotions and swore to never be vulnerable with a woman again. I would have given this a five-star rating but there was a very important loose thread that was not addressed. The h had a childhood friend whom she adored and thought maybe she would marry one day. He appears in her life ten years later only to be rejected by the h. When the H came back to reconcile with the h the childhood friend vowed revenge. Yet nothing happened. Other that, I truly enjoyed reading this story. I do recommend it.
Book 2 – An Unconventional Bride. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a feisty heroine Emma is. She is gutsy, no nonsense, practical, sensible, daring, forthright, opinionated, well-traveled, intelligent, loyal and loving. She also was of the opinion that in marriages the husband and wife ought to be equals and discuss everything that affected the family. When she first laid eyes on William, she found him attractive. Then he opened his mouth and they became bitter enemies. William was her dearest friend's brother-in-law. But Emma would not be cowed by this chauvinistic man who believed a woman married to serve her husband, be seen and not heard. Technically William had a solid character. His mother taught him one way and his father another. It was his father's teachings he lived by. But when Emma challenged him, she turned his world upside down. Emma was unlike any woman William had ever met. But when the gloves came down their lips met and their actions were of two consenting adults. When a gossiper came upon Emma and William alone together, she spread scandalous lies about Emma making her life miserable for weeks and weeks. All her friends left her. William tried what he could to help Emma but she resisted any effort. Finally, Emma got tired of being gossiped about, whispered about and propositioned as a lightskirt. She decided to go away for some time. To free herself from these petty people. William did not know what to do. An entertaining story of two people who really did belong together. I do recommend it.
Book 3 – Marrying her Best-Friend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Whew!!! My goodness. This story is a roller-coaster of emotions that will have you spinning upside down and all around. The dialogue was dynamic and active from page one till the end. Every page had one pulled from one side to another and yet the author Fiona Miers wrote the story in a way that everything went smoothly from one topic and scene to another. I was immersed in the story and into the relationship between Lizzie and Carson. Their lives were in such turmoil that it made it difficult to declare their love for one another. An amazing story of true friendship and deep abiding love. I highly recommend it.

What a delight to have all three of these books together. Each book dovetails into the next giving the reader one continous saga. The are all well written, with wonderful characters who flit in and out of each story. This is a wonderful collection to add to your library. The Duke’s Marriage of Convenience ( Seymour Siblings Book1) What a delightful story. Kitty and James are authentic and adorable. Kitty’s mother is egocentric “but means well”, and her father is trying to hold everything together. There are even a couple of villians thrown in for good measure. It is interesting, engaging and has a few stomach clenching moments. This story will leave you satisfied and with a smile on your face. An Unconventional Bride ( Seymour Siblings book 2) Emma, best friend of the bride, meets William, brother of the groom, at Kitty and James’s wedding. Emma and William have very different views on the roles of women, and they have a loud and uncomfortable encounter. In an attempt to have them learn to be civil to each other, they are thrown together privately (locked in the study) and they have a very different kind of encounter. After a slight indiscretion, rumors fly and Emma is ruined. The rest of the story is about the two of them coming to terms with what happened, how they feel about it and how they are going to handle it. The characters are great. Emma is a strong willed fiesty lady and William, the second son and brother of a duke, learns that perhaps he does not know as much as he thought about women. For him, this is a journey of discovery. As always with this author, it is well written, entertaining and just the right length to read in one sitting. I think you will really enjoy it. Marrying Her Best Friend (Seymour Siblings #3) posted 8/18/2020 Ah Lizzie....the unconventional member of the family, was the target of slanderous rumors perpetrated by a vindictive lord, making her the subject of vicious gossip. Carson, her best friend did all that he could to defend her. This is a story in which two people love each other, but are so afraid of rejection that they keep it a secret. The characters are wonderful. We have met many of them before in the first two books of this series, but a few manipulating women have been added to the mix. When Carson finally lets his temper loose, the dialogue will make you cheer. There are a few surprises thrown in for good measure. All in all, this is a book not to be missed

The Seymour siblings have learned to accept their fates—lives filled with rigid rules, dull duty and vicious tongues. Can their lives be turned around when they have a chance to find what they never expected – Love? Titles included in this excellent set are: Book 1 – The Duke's Marriage of Convenience; Book 2 – An Unconventional Bride; and Book 3 – Marrying her Best-Friend. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what you’ll find inside.
*** Reviewing “BOOK 2 – AN UNCONVENTIONAL BRIDE” *** Emma, daughter of the Earl of Montague, does not want a loveless marriage. She is feisty and intelligent, and she longs for love and passion to make her feel alive. William Seymour, so proper and upstanding, would bore her to death. He is terribly strait-laced, yet her arguments with him are exhilarating and fill her with excitement. How strange!
Will Seymour is looking to find a suitable wife among the upstanding members of society. But his mind returns to the wild hellion who brings on his temper and makes him feel truly alive. When they finally give in to the fire they ignite in each other, Emma’s reputation is ruined. Will promptly proposes marriage but she actually rejects him – just as he is realizing he loves her. Will he be able to change her mind? Can he convince her that they could have a true marriage and love together?
Three really great stories of three siblings discovering true love.
These fantastic tales are engaging with real characters that are lovable and real. Each of the stories end in an HEA and make the reader feel great and happy. You don’t want to miss these.
“The Duke’s Marriage of Convenience” -- An arranged marriage that almost doesn’t happen, but true love triumphs in the end for Kitty and James.
“An Unconventional Bride” – A self-centered Lord William attempts and a headstrong Lady Emma clash about how a wife should act and are forced to discuss their differences in a lock room. During the discussion they become intimate. Later they are discovered in a compromising embrace and Lady Emma is rejected by society. William offered to marry her, but she rejects his proposal and takes an extended trip to Scotland. William realizes that they really love each other and they end with and HEA.
“Marrying Your Best Friend” – Lady Elizabeth, who has acquired a undeserved reputation as a ”light skirt”, is rescued by her true love and childhood best friend, Carson, who has fallen in love with her and will protect her at all cost. A story of love over adversity.

So entertained. What a wonderful and unique group these brothers and sister are I loved my time that I spent with them. James should thank his lucky star for giving him, Kitty. She was a great character what I liked the most was that she stuck to her guns even when things turned sour. Elizabeth another strong-willed lady really should have listened to her brothers but no she went her own way it back-fired too but fate had something else in store for her. This is a character I have a hard time feeling sorry for she brought it all on to herself. In the end, my feeling started to change. She and Carson make a grand couple. The one-story that was new to me was Will and Emma’s. Emma is a lifelong friend of Kitty so the tale starts at Kitty and James’s wedding. It was not a good meeting in any way. Emma will fit right in with the other ladies in these books they all have a backbone made of steel. I was so entertained by each storytime flew when I was reading. The author has written awesome characters with some interesting challenges. I am happy to recommend this collection I hope you check it out. I did receive a free copy of this story and voluntarily chose to review it.
The Dukes Marriage of Convenience Review: This is a short but sweet with a little spice romance between James, the Duke of Somerset and Lady Kitty. Her family is desperate for cash because her fathers partner stole money from their business so her father arranges a marriage with James who is very wealthy. She is not happy about the arrangement but when she meets James she is changing her mind and James who has been hurt in the past is also beginning to feel more for Kitty but a misunderstanding causes them to part ways and an old friend of Kitty's who is cruel is waiting for Kitty so he can force a marriage with him. Will James and Kitty reconcile or will she be forced to marry another? An Unconventional Bride Review: Emma and William are opposite as she is passionate and he is reserved but when they met at a wedding no one expected the outcome. Loved how she was determined to marry for love and while it took him a while to come to that conclusion it was all that you could hope for in the end.

The Seymour Siblings. This complete series is great! I enjoy historical romance stories and these stories hit the spot! I am captured by the beauty of the stories. Each Seymour sibling discovers a love they either didn't think they could have or didn't think they wanted until they spent time with the person. The sister of the Seymour siblings was my favorite because the man she falls for has been a friend of the family forever and he was willing to help her out in anyway when Lizzy's reputation was ruined by some jealous women and men. This complete series is a must read series for historical romance readers. The Seymore siblings - two young men and a young lady live in regency England in Somerset. The oldest due to become a duke and his marriage is arranged by his parents. Luckily for him and his bride they fall deeply for each other. The second finds his bride unexpectedly, while their youngest, their sister is victim of a smear campaign, which usually means that she would have no chance left of marrying in the ton. But. like her brothers she finds her happy. A nice collection of stories, a small family saga of kinds, fairly accurate on the historical points, fun to read and entertaining. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
An excellent trilogy of spicy Regency romances! I always look forward to finding new contributions to the HR genre, especially if they have been written by Ms. Miers. The characters are beautifully portrayed and the storylines believable. I had read each of these books when they had been released individually but I could not pass up the opportunity to read them all once again, this time as a collection where I could enjoy them one after the other. Books by Fiona Miers are always a joy to read!

Two and a half ⭐️. There were some parts I enjoyed in the dialogues. I felt these were beginner-like historical romances, a good dip for someone new to the genre. These books had the conventional plots and mannerisms of the Ton with sprinkles of unconventional decorum. Because these were most likely short books, I felt each plot beat around the bush a little too much where the main issue was repetitive until finally in a rush it was concluded.
The second Fiona Miers’ Regency boxsets series a well written set of stories that kept me turning pages. I have read these stories before but I as happy to see them all in one place. I know I will read this set again. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed these books, they take you back to what you (today) think of as simpler times, but err they really. I loved how the author was able to capture that in her writing. Each sister had a different type of dilemma, but they ended well. Such a good read.

I loved the fact that it was about a family and how each story mentioned the other family members. I love the happy ending of all three books. I recommend his book. Thanks to Fiona Miners for a great read.
All three stories were well written. A perfect book to read during this raining seasons. Big brother James could say we all survived the courting stages right up to parenthood.
