Getting Even: Prank War: A Transgender Erotic Horror Story

Rate this book
Chris was looking forward to the next four years. Being accepted to Harvard University was his goal and all he had left to do was complete his high school education and finalize his scholarship information and keep his nose clean. But something went wrong and would bring all of it to a screeching halt. Two years younger than his classmates made him an easy target and to finish out their high school career, four friends decide to play one more prank after a graduation party. They didn't think it would go as far as it did and they certainly didn't think Chris would seek revenge.

This 28K word story is filled with graphic scenes that are sexual and horrifying.

M.C. Questgend is a relatively new author who has transferred the stress of his childhood and failed marriages to the pen and keyboard. Very shy Texan, M.C. is a bit of a romantic, but brings a sense of realism to a world that is often looked at as nothing more than sexual perversion.

Writing erotic stories - some loosely based on his and "her" life as well as stories involving aspects of the LGBT community, a community and lifestyle he has come to privately embrace. The intent was to write stories that entertain, inspire and motivate - which are as much sensual and heartwarming as they are sexual and explicit.

M.C. is rarely away from the keyboard, reading, writing or working a job that pays the bills. You can always find “her” online at http://mcquestgend.com and floating around social media.

Revenge is a dish best served twisted and bloody

This is a deliciously dark little romp. It was pretty clear from the outset where it was heading, but our protagonist is well developed and the wrongs done by Chris' tormentors are devastating.

What follows is a rollercoaster ride of violence and depravity, and a journey of self-discovery for Chris. Kudos to M.C. Questgend for creating a sympathetic psychopath and crafting an compelling descent into darkness that never lets up.

This story includes elements of violence, mutilation and subjugation, and should not be tackled by readers bothered by such things.

While there’s no doubt that M.C. Questgend has written some dark stories over the years, some painful tales of characters challenged and betrayed, Getting Even: Prank War is a whole other level of erotic horror. It’s a story that has its roots in Carrie-like teenage humiliation, but the consequences are even more horrific, and the revenge that follows even more fitting.

Chris is a prodigy, a brilliant young man who, in skipping grades, has become intellectually alienated from kids his age and emotionally alienated from his peers. All he wants to do is finish high school, give his graduation speech, and head off to Harvard on a full scholarship. When he refuses to help one of the popular girls cheat on her exams, however, she sets him up for a feminization prank that was only intended to be humiliating. but which ends up costing him his scholarship and ruining his future.

As the old adage goes, revenge is a dish best served cold, and Chris takes his time setting up the perfect scenario, weaponizing the memories of his humiliation, and studying all things feminine to become Christine. It’s creepy the way he spies on the four friends behind the graduation prank, and unnerving the way he puts so much effort into drawing them into the perfect environment, but the true horror is in what she does to them.

This is one of those stories that isn’t afraid to push its themes to the most horrifying conclusions. Questgend holds nothing back, showing absolutely no remorse in enabling Christine’s dark, disturbing, increasingly sexual cruelties. This is erotic horror in the truest sense of the word, crossing lines and boundaries along the way, that leaves the reader ever more uncomfortable.

Where stories like this usually fall apart is in the ending, but Getting Even: Prank War never lets up. It goes places I did not expect and throws in a few twists that genuinely shocked me. What’s perhaps most disturbing about it, however, is how much depth there is to Chris/Christine’s character and how much empathy Questgend is able to evoke in the reader, making us feel complicit in the ultimate horrors. Fearsomely fantastic stuff.

Kind of warped

It’s a little or lot of a bit of a sad cliche. I as hoping it would go a different maybe more creative way. That said I really enjoyed the story. The forced fem bits were done very well and I will read much more from this author.
