He's not allowed to touch and she's got something to prove by being on top...

Jo Johnson has spent ten long months running from a traumatic past that left both physical and mental scars but when Ash takes up a chair at her sister's tattoo studio, the attraction is almost instant. She thinks he might just be what the doctor ordered to help her get over her paralyzing fear of men.

Ash arrives in Australia from the UK for a working holiday. He's going to ink tourists, surf and attempt to remove the knife his ex lodged into his back. He wants a hassle-free workplace and an easy few months. What he gets is a woman who knows how to play dirty and the chance for some no-strings kink.

He's not allowed to touch and she's got something to prove making them combustible behind closed doors but what happens when their pasts are exposed and one of them isn't who they seem. Can they learn to trust, to let down their guards, to love again? Or will Ash leave Australia and a broken Jo behind forever...

This is a two to three chili book on a scale of sweet to mild to scorching.

About the author

Bronwyn's love of reading all things romantic got her into trouble at a very young age. Starting with Mills and Boon 'borrowed' from her mother and then progressing to meaty historicals and sweeping sagas, it's only fair that romance pays her back with unique ideas for her own novels. She now writes dark and gritty Regency that borders on the edge of noir with the occasional dabble in contemporary and women's fiction. Her treehouse in the Adelaide Hills is filled with the laughter of her young kids, the meows of two white, fluffy cats and a man who thinks chilvary is what happens after you eat bad chicken.

Hot and Steamy, more than I expected.

I have followed Bronwyn since the beginning and bought this without actually knowing much about it. I knew it was contemporary and centred in a tattoo studio so I didn't know what to expect, and I think I loved it more because of that.
