எட்டிக்குளத்துப் பேய்கள்: The Ghosts of Ettikkulam

Senthil a young and knowledgeable veterinary Surgeon works at the District Headquarters. His self confidence and jovial means irritates his boss who is also the director of the Institute. Over a petty skirmish his boss shunts him to Ettikkulam veterinary dispensary located in the farthest corner of the district. As soon as he arrives in the secluded village he understands Ettikkulam vicinity is famous for notorious ghosts. He also encounters many scary incidences in the nights and everyone around cautions him to be extremely careful. He brushes them aside as unimportant for he does not believe in supernatural existance. Over a casual conversation, someone challenges him to visit the core jungle area haunted by deadly ghosts and he takes the challenge. His faithful assistant Murugesu cautions him not to be adventurous... at least with Ettikkulam ghosts. Murugesu has strong reasons for advising so which he is not willing to disclose. This, all the more tempts Senthil to visit the ghosts, to prove at least they do not exist. Against many odds he sneaks into the jungle and past midnight finds himself surrounded by the deadly ghosts of Ettikkulam... அவசியம், கடவுள் உட்பட.

Senthil a veterinary doctor got recently transferred into a small village, there he hear stories of ghost around a pond, as a science person he likes to educate people about the non existence of ghost and all, so he take it up as a challenge and how he educate people is what the book is about.

A thrill read and gives a clarity about non existence of ghost and the psychology behind it.

A must read book for adults, i don't suggest it for children as it involves lot of thrill which can be harmful for under adults in a psychological way.
