I will be honest and admit that this is my least favorite book in the Santa's Secret Helpers series and my least favorite book by Ms. Morgan. This book seems to be a continuation of the previous book and wrapping up ends. But there was nothing new nor really special in it other than to wrap up ends. At a few points, the storyline seemed contrived to me.

Was it an enjoyable read? For the most part it was. Would I re-read it? I highly doubt it. It is a fast easy read if you need something to escape when everyone is driving you crazy but if this is your first book in the series, start with book one.

Every author has a book that doesn't quite hit the mark and sometimes it is the reader who just isn't in to it. For me, this book didn't hit the mark. Will I continue reading Ms. Morgan's books? Definitely.

A key point is that this book is a novella meaning under 200 pages so there isn't quite a lot of room for growth of the series. I am finding a number of authors I normally read are putting out novellas in time for holiday reading. Some can work magic in under 200 pages and others need more wand practice for the magic to happen.

'It's wonderful. But scary.'

The last book in the series, which is a little sad, but what a lovely New Year read! And of course in true Leeanna Morgan style there is a new Sapphire Bay spin off series, so it is just goodbye for now to all these lovely characters, not goodbye forever.
This book ties up all the loose ends from the previous Santa's Secret Helpers books, including two gorgeous weddings, completed housing projects and a long awaited new baby....obviously not everything goes exactly according to plan, there a small hiccups and big health scares, but it is Sapphire Bay so the troops rally to put everything right. Whilst there is some sadness, there is also a huge amount of love and joy, and some beautiful HEA's.
A lovely end to a fantastic series.

Love the community, the way they are like an extended family and care for each other. The weddings are lovely. Always impressed with John. The more you read about him the more perfect he seems. Lots of family dramas and issues to keep you turning the next page. Like the author's style. A truly enjoyable series.

This was a really good book to finish the series, or at least I think it is finished but might not be. I have read alot of her books and they are all really really good books. I would suggest everyone read all her books as they really are worth it.

Enjoyable

This was a quick read. It isn’t my favorite book in the series but I enjoy this author’s stories and will continue to read them. Close family ties, a couple of scares, and a HEA.

If you are looking for a feel good, clean romance series, this is a good series to read.

I see there are spin off series involving some of the main recurring characters, which I will be starting soon... My To Read list is getting rather long
