Bar soap- Life Behind Bars is a murder mystery with erotic and sexual instances. The story revolves around Sean Collins, an accountant turned bartender. Shortly after his mother’s tragic death, he receives a letter from her regarding his father, whom he never knew. She believes what was ruled an accidental death over 20 years ago, was murder by his business partner, Beau Garrett.
Sean after knowing this goes to work for him to find out what exactly happened 20 years ago. Will, he able to find the truth? What unfolds is a world full of barflies, jealous husbands, drugs, thugs, dealers, etc.
.
👉 While the narration is intriguing and fast-paced, at some places story seemed boring and repetitive.
👉I loved the level of mystery in the first half, with murder and trying to uncover it. It was very interesting to read.
👉While I don't like this kind of genre with violence and drugs, etc. I enjoyed reading this one as nothing was over the top. It was a good balance of mystery, romance and thrill.
👉Overall, a good one time read for me.

This is a different kind of book than anything else I have read before. I enjoyed the characters and cared about their outcomes. Its a hard-to-put- down book because I needed to know what was going to happen next. I could see this being a weekly show on an edgy channel like FX or HBO.

This is a well paced book. It has elements from two totally different genres- thriller and exotica.
The characters are well potraited. The narration is good too. The language is lucid and easy.
The plot is about an accountant turned into a bartender. Recently our protagonist lost his mother and soon after it he received a letter from his long lost father. Along with the letter was the mystery. Our protagonist tries to solve down the mystery and find the answer he wants. But his path isn't that easy as there lies the different elements.

The writing is smooth and easy to understand. This book takes you on a roller coaster of emotions as you journey through the pages.

Barsoap, a very creative name I would say and as you read through you definitely would know why. It's a story about Sean who leaves his job of an accountant to be a bartender after he hears about his fathers death that happened 20years ago which actually might be a murder.
Soon he realised there is so much more he needs to unreveal that happens in the bar. The life story of bartenders and waitresses is realistically shown. Between all of these things Sean is trapped between those bar cultures and so many more things. For him to discover the truth gets even more difficult when every person that comes in his touch dies. Would he be able to know the truth? Would he be able to prove it ? You really need to read this book. You can't miss this one.
Every chapter is sure to give you goosebumps. It really keeps you curious on what comes next. The plot is so well written that it seems like there is a movie playing in front of your eye. The language is very engaging, I love how all the characters are briefly described and all emotions are so wonderfully expressed.

🌻Thought with interim time,
It will pace down and flew,
Time will heal everything,
And life will move on,
But who knows,
It was a bitter betokened,
Impugned against viable truth,
Will held to jarring tribunal. 🌻
.
A much appreciated and a book written with true mendacity and inalterability is a must read. The author portrayed the theme of love, betrayal, revenge, unrevealing truths, profane pre-emptive and lynched acts. Was absolutely an adoring pleasure to get to know about the life behind the cages of bars. It'll get to change one's perspective towards the life behind the cages of bar. It's obviously so true that whatever we see is definitely not true. Moreover, our full scrutnization and scrupulous approach of getting through the roots of true, leads us to the acrimonious enormity myths which are to be turned false. And so is the story penned in the book which will definitely anachronistic one's mind and so is his perspective towards bartender and their panache life.
.
The story is about a palliate man who after his mother's death get to know about the most egregious news which had almost shaken and callous his center of peace. With an ushered letter he came to know that his father didn't died a usual death, he was outrageously murdered by someone. Albeit, he felt a way flagrant and nonplussed after hearing his father's calumny murder news, he somehow was aware of the fact that the convict was a kind of bashful bartender. To cleave and disclose the murderer of his father, he had to go through the darkest sides of the people living in bars by being a way assiduous. With a pellucid mindset and grit in mind, will he be able to engender the murderer of his accused father?? Will he lead his destination with the help of delinquencies or his demonstration of cleverness will make him successful in his mission??
.
A truly new concept story aggrandize with obfuscation and plethora urge of revenge and unrevealing truths. Highly recommend for all. Great work by a virtuoso author. Must read :) 💖📚

🍷Year 1973, Maria is setting up her autozoom, autofocus camera on the beach to film a destination wedding scheduled for the evening at the beach.
Three friends, Johny, Beau and Stacy are sailing in the same waters that is washing the shores of the beach where lovely wedding music is playing. A murder by a best friend caught in Maria's video recording. Flashforward 1997, Sean, an accountant turned bartender receives a letter from his mother after her demise that the person he understood as his father was not his biological father and his real father is Johny and asks him to investigate his mysterious death.
🍷What happens next??
The plot is very well developed, narration is fantastic and characters are well developed too. Premises are set very well, you know when and where everything is happening. Use of Spanish words in the dialogues definitely help in setting the place clearly in the reader's mind.
🍷The writing is fast paced and gripping. The inside world of bars is vividly painted through words, elements like lust, crime, violence etc are used in the story but the good thing is they are balanced and don't go overboard.
🍷The book is a page turner and keeps you hooked right from the first page. If you like to read dramas having elements of crime and mystery, then this one might be for you.

Barsoap is an erotic dramedy featuring Sean Collins, In an effort to uncover answers to his father's suspicious death, he takes a bartending position at BG's Night Club. It is owned by the cantankerous and treacherous Beauregard Garrett (ex-business partner of Sean's father.) Sean is easily engulfed by the pitfalls of the bar culture/lifestyle. The answers are there, if he can survive the partying, unbridled sex, drugs and betrayal.
There are certain books you read that leaves you reeling even after the end that's what this book was for me.
First the writing is smooth and gripping,it really hooked me right from the start with Johnny's death till the end!
Each chapter ended with too much drama, you can't help but turn the pages to know more.
The only drawback i feel is that almost every person Sean connects with dies.
Be it Crystal or Rj i mean come on! (Rj was my favorite)
So it was a bit too fast paced for me. Otherwise its really good and i really look forward to read the next book! Experienced the decandence for sure.
3.5/5stars for this fast paced exciting read.

Barsoap- Life Behind Bars is an erotic drama of Sean Collins, an accountant who became a bartender after his mother’s death. I liked the plot of the book. Later, he reads a letter by her and comes to know about his father whom he never knew that he was murdered by his business partner, Beau Garrett. Read the book to discover the whole story.

This book is written with a different plot, I haven’t read many books with this theme. The ending kept my reading this book. The characters are nicely presented. Overall a nice read. I won’t recommend this book to the beginners. The title is unique and the book cover is nice.

🧩Barsoap, a clever tale following the story of Sean, a bartender who learns about his biological father's death.
.
🧩Soon, he leaves his job of an accountant to be a bartender where the book shows the actual colors of a bar to an extent.
.
🧩How the story moved swiftly from working in a bar to solving a murder was impressive.
.
🧩However the plot could have been quicker and more creative at times but overall, the story was a good read especially the addition of Spanish language.

Sean Collins, an accountant and a bar dancer, comes to know of his biological father and his untimely death. Having lost his job after, he decides to work as a barman in a new club to unravel the mystery behind his death. Why that particular bar then? Did he succeed in his mission? 💖
📖
The story starts with the death of Sean's father and then goes on to explain the lives of bartenders and waitresses in a some-what realistic manner when Sean starts working in the bar. Not just bartenting and waitressing they are also required to do some skits and performances at intervals that makes the plot interesting 💖 . It's not just a mystery story but tells the activities inside a bar, wheather it's occasional flirting of workers with customers to brawling between customers. That said there are also drugs and drug dealers involved with gruesome murders. Also for the romantic heart there are erotic and love scenes in the midst. So overall it's a package that might satisfy all genre lovers.
📖
What started as a quest for catching the murderer, side-tracks into various activities and situations and sometimes it gets so monotonous and boring. There were almost always some partying and drinking which can be a bit too much at the end. Also the ending seemed rushed and lacked the conviction that is needed. But it also ended in a cliffhanger of sorts and this is just volume one, so looking forward to the next volume.
📖
I loved the plot and the way the story moved. The characters are well developed and felt like watching a action-packed movie. If you love action, mystery, parties and some murders in the mix, then this is for you. 💜

"Barsoap" is what happens when you combine a cold-case murder with a wild night out, and it was a helluva lot of fun to read. The story was well-paced, the dialogue was realistic, the atmosphere was intoxicating, and the action never stopped. I look forward to reading volume 2!
