This book picks up without missing a beat. Gem is back working the job she has always dreamed of doing, but her first day is not as great as she had hoped it would be. But she does have Milo by her side, and of course let's not forget about Gran, the person I want to be when I grow up.
Now let's talk about the other men in her life shall we? I love them both and I want them both for myself because DAMN!!!! Jax is just yummy but she's mad at him, she's in love with Adrik and yeah so am I but the whole no touching or die thing? Come on seriously, that's just wrong.... but I got sidetracked
Anyway you need to read this book and series because they are amazing as always

Quite the cliffhanger!
I didn't see that ending coming! Wow, totally blind sighted me. As if poor Gem needs any more chaos in her life. How the he'll is she supposed to pull off what Luca asks? I don't know how long until the next book, but I need it to be soon. Heather this series is a smash hit! I love Grand made up potty words! I love Jax. He's mom is a fierce mother who doesn't take no for an answer. I have no idea how she takes care of triplet demon babies. She really needs to show Gem how she does it!

This is the fourth book in the Supernatural Security Force series. Gem loves Nephilim Adrik but they cannot be together since his power may kill her if they try. Nephilim Raguel is turning shifters into demons and he must be stopped. So far two of Gem's friends have been turned blue with demon venom. Gem has a job as an agent with the SSF and she is partnered with her friend Milo. The downside of her new job is she has to report to Rigo, they have a hate/hate relationship going on. Can't blame her for that the guy is rather sleazy. Gem does her best to find out as much information as she can to stop shifters being turned into demons but no matter what action she takes there is always opposition. Gem's heart is in the right place, she is raising a demon child with Jax and trying to keep that fact hidden so nothing happens to Fergie. I love this book. The story is original, the characters are amazing, I'm sorry but you have got to love Gran. Everyone needs a grandmother like her in their lives. This is a must read!

Gem knows where the demons are coming from, who's making them, and what has to be done. But Raguel is so much more dangerous than the rest of the nephilim. She hopes that being back in the SSF will help her find out exactly what he's up to and discover a way to shut him down completely. But with each corner she turns, she runs into more opposition. Even with all of the people in her corner, she may love the one nephilim who means everything to her, a fate worse than death.
Gran has the most hilarious mashup of swear words that her cussing always has me chuckling. She has no filter, which brings levity at times when it's most needed. Adrik is too sexy for his wings, and I totally see how she can be attracted to him. There's so much angst in the way they try to avoid getting close to each other but keep falling into each other's arms. And that cliffhanger just tore me up. I am impatiently awaiting the final chapter in this incredible series.

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title within the series set box.

It's a disappointing end to a set box, as although there is a next episode, it isn't on Audible as yet.
The tale is a complex tale of dark angels having been sent to earth to redeem themselves by disposing of demons.
However, for some of these dark angels, power has gone to the individuals' heads, each concocting their own way to do their mission. The supernaturals that live on earth are under the control of the Council but are being used to fulfil whatever dark plan they have.
Our shapeshifting heroine is doing her best to protect the innocents and get rid of the bad apples in the Council.

OMG Gem is just amazing. She is so Sassy and can kick some butt. I really adore her Adrik he is so beautiful inside and out i love the way he protects her. I still like Jax but i love the way Heather is growing his character. and i also really like seeing her and Gems mom with Fergie who gets a unusual twist in Dead to Rights. There is a lot of action and cute scenes and some maddening scenes and some balling scenes. But my favorite scenes have to be the ones with Grams she just always steals the show with her quips

Definitely read this if you want to pee your pants laughing!
Gem has been a favorite character of mine for a while and it seems her story just gets better and better with each book that releases. She is continually engaged in a battle to figure out what is happening in her life. Gram stills a lot of the show with her quick wit and humor but the demon babies made me laugh just as much. Jax and Aldrick have me going back and forth. I like Jax but Aldrick is stilling the show when it comes to Gems love interest and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

Loving this series
Another great book in the series! And wow, did this one turn things on their heads. So much danger and deceit, jealousy and lust, anger and caring. It’s just an emotional rollercoaster. The secondary and tertiary characters are becoming more important and really starting to play much bigger roles. And OMG, the twist at the end!!! I can’t wait to read the next book to see what Gem is going to do!

Gets better and better
I’m loving this series! Love that her characters actually feel like real people. They swear, have out of pocket thoughts and feelings, and make mistakes. But most of them are good, solid people - good friends, loyal family and fallible at the end of the day. Even if the subject matter is fantasy, it’s still centered around real people that you could see yourself being friends with. Highly recommended!

Book 4 did not disappoint! There's plenty of action and sexual tension. Gem is now working as a detective and excited to see what new cases come her way. Milo and Gran keep the laughs rolling with there usual snarky comments. There's never a dull moment. Now which scrumptious guy do I choose🤔🤔🤔

I enjoyed the action in this story. A lot happens right away. The characters are enjoyable and I liked their connections in this book.
Gem continues to go through a lot as in every book. I like finding out how she’ll get through each situation.
As always I find the parts with Fergie to be fun and entertaining.

Too much sex! There's a difference between romance and sex, and this book kind of steps over the line! In general, I really like the story and pointing out of secrets and conspiracy which, even if they are nominally ith a good goal in mind, potentially awful and backfire!

dead to rights by Heather Hildenbrand. ok, this was a letdown. don't get me wrong the ending between the current theme in the series with the big bad was good but then it's like ok that's done know come back to work for the very organisation that put a bounty on your head and tried to have you killed. it was against her characters nature and left you wondering

Another fantastic read!
I love Gem more and more the more into the story I get. Every time I think oh man she’s gone she gets the upper hand. I can’t believe I’m done with this book already, it was so good and suspenseful, I loved it!!

Bloodyhell!!
I enjoyed the fourth installment so much. The pacing was great and it was so intense. A lot has been revealed and I cannot wait to see what happens next!! The book was hilarious as the previous books too. I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrator is phenomenal.

The plot thickens
Dead to Rights starts with Gem as a detective. Finally. But as per usual everything is much more dangerous and complicated. I'm not totally sure who all is trustworthy at the end of this book and excited to read the finale.

What an unusual cast of characters! I enjoy the way they play off each other and support each other when needed. Relationships are solidifying amongst chaos, turmoil and danger. Yet they still have time for breaking the tenseness with a bit of hilarity and frivolity.

Yeah I'm over this series. It feels like it's being dragged out for no reason and I'm honestly just not invested in the story or characters anymore. I finished this book but I am DNF the series.

What an amazing book. These characters have been through so much. They get stronger and stronger. I love how their relationships have grown with them and their journey. A brilliant performance.
