An authors worst nightmare and greatest fantasy. Panther shifter Maxwell Bourland is an author on a deadline and he’s got nothing; seeking inspiration he heads to the paranormal getaway Crimson Moon Hideaway and finds more than he was looking for in the persons of two of the uses of old. Fun, frolicking and much inspiration but very little writing occurs. I really enjoyed this sexy romp at Crimson Moon Hideaway.

My first Crimson Moon Hideaway story, but not my first by this author. Muse Unleashed is a fun story. We already know about vampires, shifters, pixies and such but Crimson Moon is home to the paranormal beings you might not know about.
A writer, Maxwell Bourland, has writers block. I guess it happens to all the best writers! Maxwell goes to Crimson Moon Hideaway to try and focus on his long overdue story. Since Crimson Moon Hideaway is home to para-normal beings, inspiration shouldn’t be too hard to find, right? Add in a Muse or two and who knows what could happen!
I really liked this story. The characters are fun and author Robbie Cox brings out the charm of Crimson Moon Hideaway with his details of the resort. Looks like a great place to go! There are even a couple of moments that make me wonder how much life imitates art or vis versa, for this author! Which makes this story even more fun to read!
Looking forward to reading more in this series and by this author.

This was a very good read. It can easily be read as a stand alone. I really enjoyed this one. I find all of these books to be great reads. Can't wait to read more of them.

MUSE UNLEASHED is the fourth book in the multi-author Crimson Moon Hideaway series. Each story will stand on its own, but all books are set at the fictional resort of Crimson Moon Hideaway. The first five were released in November 2020 and I was lucky enough to read this one.
Now I was first introduced to Crimson Moon Hideaway in Gracen Miller’s FINDING HER WIZARD(, which I loved!). So, of course I wanted to return to visit the fairies and wizards in the redwood forest of California. Absolutely not disappointed. I knew I wouldn’t be since it was Robbie Cox doing the writing. Still, he blew me away with his entry into the Crimson Moon world.
An author is told to write what you know about. What author of over forty books wouldn’t know a little something about muses and writer’s block? Add in that this particular author lives a polyamorous lifestyle and he is truly writing what he knows about! Hmmm… do you suppose Robbie Cox is a panther shifter, too. It does make for a compelling argument.
The story is fun, intriguing, has great banter, and fantastic imagination. I loved that little-known demi-gods are brought into play, proving that the author has done his research to provide more entertainment for the reader’s mind.
I’m looking forward to more vacations in Crimson Moon Hideaway! Who knows what creatures we may find there next.

This started off feeling like a slightly monotonous story, which as I got into it became far more interesting as I became more and more invested in the characters. I liked the way that the reason for his writing problems came to light and how the muses managed to solve it. A lot of drama at the end of the story and a satisfying HEA at the end. Contains explicit sexual content.

This was actually a very interesting read. Crimson Moon is beginning to be my next favorite vacation spot. You never know who you are going to fine there. Who is going to fall in love with who?
The trio is this book were perfect for each other, even if they are sure themselves. The road to falling in love is always a complicated road, but this trio makes it look seemless.

I loved this sweet but sexy book, I did not want to put it down. Crimson Moon Hideaway is THE vacation destination for the paranormal. Which makes it the perfect getaway for an author who has writer's block and just cannot seem to get any words out. There he meets his mates... yup said mates.. with an s. However something is working against him and them, oh and don't forget his writer's block. One thing leads to another and not everything is as it appears.

This is an entertaining story with strong characters at the Crimson Moon Hideaway. The author does a great job building the story and pulled me in with the fun and sexy story line. It's well written with perfectly painted scenes , moves quickly and smoothly and is a great addition to the series. Loved it!!

This was really an engaging read that took me on a different path than I was expecting. An author with writers block and two muses have fabulous chemistry and more than one surprise when they come together. Revenge, jealousy and steamy romance abound in this unique resort haven for supes and I really enjoyed the path they needed to follow to find an HEA. All great fun and I look forward to more stories both in this series and by this author.

This story was so creative and different. There was so many different relationships going on siblings, fated mates, jealous family just like in real life..lol.. Funny, sexy, intriguing this book had it all... what a greatway to kick of a new world.. Crimson Moon Hideaway is going to be my next new favorite place to visit even if only in books..

I have read many of Robbie's books, and I must say this was one interesting read. I totally loved it and the characters, the 2 sisters especially and their banter. It makes me want to sit in a hotel and see what is going on around me. Kudos, Robbie, you wrote a good one again. On to more of your books :)

This was just an okay read for me.
I just found the plot with a vengeful fate silly.
And the two muses Callie and Thalia just didn’t come across as sisters who could tolerate each other, let alone share a mate long term.

Good and Mysterious
I enjoyed reading about the muses and shifters and seeing what powers the muses have. I liked that even they had to figure out what their cousin did to Maxwell and how they helped fix his problem

What an amazing story. This is the 1st one in the Crimson Moon Hideaway series that I have read. I was not disappointed. I can't wait to see what Robbie has in store for his next book in the series.

MUSE UNLEASHED by Robbie Cox is a Crimson Moon Hideaway story. The characters are fun and author Robbie Cox brings out the charm of Crimson Moon Hideaway Resort with his detailed descriptions. He makes it sound like the perfect getaway place to visit.
Maxwell Bourland is deep into writers block with the contract deadline approaching. Deciding a change of pace is needed, he's off to a paranormal resort that just opened. He soon meets to two beautiful and intriguing women. Later, they confess to being Muses. Max declines their help, enjoys their company. In fact, his panther is drooling over both of them. It's all fun and no writing. Everything is perfect, maybe too perfect. Could one or more of the three Fates, be involved in this mutual attraction?
While I did enjoy this story, it didn't keep my attention riveted like the other stories by this author, but I do recommend it for a fun read.

This book made me hold on tight and refused to allow me to put the book down. Robbie Cox is an author I have read previously and will read again and again. This book holds true to anyone familiar with a Cox romance. Exactly as described in the book blurb, but with plenty more depth to keep you wondering what will happen next. Easily a four star read.

Crimson Moon Hideaway: Muse Unleashed by Robbie Cox is a great story to read. This is book number one in this great series that I have loved reading very much. I loved the characters and the plot in this great story. I highly recommend this story to everyone who likes reading about contemporary and paranormal romance.

Maxwell has writer’s block and travels to Crimson Moon Hideaway to see if he could break it. He meets Lia and Callie, two of the Muse sisters. His panther seems attracted to both and so is he. However, a more sinister plot has intertwined these three that may have heartbreaking consequences. I love the Crimson Moon series and really enjoyed figuring out the manipulations in Muse Unleashed.

I've read a lot of books written by Robbie Cox; he has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of his books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I really enjoyed this book! The storyline was well developed, the characters were complex and well developed and the story world was detailed. The writing drew me in and I felt immersed in the story! I always look forward to more books by this author and would recommend this book!
