He had everything he thought he wanted. Then Lia walked into his life…and everything changed.
A moment’s flirtation and a dance in the dark leaves Nick Wilde wanting more. When his Cinderella vanishes before the night is over, she leaves him nothing but her name and the memory of a kiss he can’t forget.
Chicago Police Detective Lia Archer’s life doesn’t have room for distractions, and that’s exactly what Nick Wilde is. He’s sexy, charming, and a threat to everything she’s worked so hard to achieve. She ran out on him once, but when Nick reappears in her life, he’s determined not to make it easy for her to vanish on him again.
Can the wildest of the Wilde brothers find his happily ever after, or will secrets steal their chance at a fairytale ending? **Publisher’s Note – This book was previously released with another publisher under the same title. It has been lightly edited, but the story remains the same.
Susan lives out on the Canadian west coast surrounded by open water, dear family and good friends. She’s jumped out of perfectly good airplanes on purpose and accidentally swum with sharks on the Great Barrier Reef. If the world ends, she plans to survive as the spunky, comedic sidekick to the heroes of the new world, because she’s too damned short and out of shape to make it on her own for long.
Writing is her joy, her escape from reality and the only way she knows of to quiet the nagging harridan of a muse the universe assigned to her.

Low-angst, sexy quick-read romance between tatted H and cop h. Second half was better than first, h irritated me with her pushing away of H for no real reason that I could understand. H pursued h from the get-go and she led him a good chase. The H's family was heartwarming.
Wilde Ink is a soulful story with heartache only death can bring and the extreme joys only living life can provide. Lea is such a sad character and Nick is hotter than a four alarm fire. The characters and writing of Ms. Hayes carries the weight of the stories and provide a wonderful foundation for a story worth reading. I highly recommend the writing of Ms. Hayes and the beauty found in the pages of her books. Delane Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance & More
I absolutely love everything Susan writes and was not disappointed when I finished this one. Oh how I love the Wilde brothers. Such a good story and can't wait to see how the other Wilde Brothers fall!
This is a great short story series. This particular copy has quite a few errors in it, but the story is great and I probably would have fallen in love with Nick myself back in my 20’s or so. You can’t go wrong with a hot ripped male body and a lot of exquisite ink on it. 😉
I loved this one as well. This brother has the just amount of "who, me?" in it that I find really good. It's the kind where you just want to walk up & smack all of them upside their heads for their mom & tell them to grow up & knock it off. I had a lot of fun reading it.
A fun read, I liked it, but again considering everything that was going on this story needed more time, and the h's about face was just a little too fast.
This is the 3rd book in the series. Nick is the youngest of the Wilde brothers and the black sheep. He is happy with his live. Seeing a different girl all the time and working in his tattoo shop. When his brother Ben gets married he meets up with Lia Archer a detective that works with his brother Dave. She doesn't want a relationship and neither does Nick. They meet and sparks fly. He decides he wants to see where things go and she makes excuses as why they can't. But he can see thru her and finally works his way into her life. They both have secrets and the question is well those secrets keep them apart. That is the question... A lot of romance in the book. I will read it again!!
