Born in Gujarat, India, Kamlesh D. Patel showed an early interest in meditation and spiritual growth. In 1976, as a pharmacy student in Ahmedabad, he met his Guide, Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur (Babuji), the founder and first President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission.

After graduating with honours in 1980, he moved to the US and practised pharmacy in New York City, while also continuing the Raja Yoga system of Sahaj Marg, with great devotion. He continues to excel in both his material career and spiritual life.

Kamlesh continued to follow Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari (Chariji), the second President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, after Babuji’s passing, and has held a number of increasingly responsible roles as well as offering his support to the growth of the Mission worldwide. In October 2011 he was proclaimed as Chariji’s successor, and in August 2012 was appointed Vice-President of SRCM with the full powers of the President, due to Chariji’s failing physical health. Following Chariji’s passing on the 20th of December 2014, he became the spiritual Guide of the Sahaj Marg system, and the third President of Shri Ram Chandra Mission. He is often endearingly referred to as Daaji.

Daaji and his wife have two sons. These days he is constantly travelling, conducting meditation with yogic transmission for seekers worldwide, and speaking at the Mission’s many centres and ashrams, as well as to the general public through newspaper articles, TV and radio. He is a vital role model for anyone wanting to evolve as a human being and expand consciousness. A spiritual catalyst, displaying the perfect blend of the Eastern heart and Western mind, he is able to connect with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, giving special attention to today’s youth.

Designing Destiny, as the title suggests completely focusses on how self realization and knowing our inner strength and abilities are whole and soul of designing our destiny.

In other words, Kamleshji have made it very clear that if one knows how to aspire for a goal, then he/she indded has the potential to achieve it by diverting the flow of his/her energy in the right direction.

Meditation is the key to knowing our inner self, unburdening our hearts off the past griefs and investing a crystal clear thinking towards achieving our goals.

In a very easily decipherable and simple manner, the author has penned down effective ways to achieve the above stated things. Everything written is damn relatable. One can actually accompany the words simultaneously while reading it, even if its a first time read.

Its a common thinking that whatever we gain or loose is a direct impact of our past deeds, so why not improve our 'karma' for a fruitful future? This is exactly where 'Designing Destiny' intervenes and probides you ways to do this.

What else do we need, recognising one's inner strength, abilities and needs has become way more important in recent times, amidst the competitive and rapidly developing world and this book indeed does that work.

Super happy to have read this book!

18th BOOK of 2019 (102nd Book Overall)

Quote from the Book I Liked - Guilt is perhaps the heaviest impression we can form. (Page 111)

Rating - 5 Stars

Summary - What does destiny mean in the course of our lives?

What is fixed and what can change?

How can we design our own destiny?

These are questions that some of the world’s greatest philosophers have asked since time immemorial. In this groundbreaking book, Daaji addresses such questions with simple solutions and practical wisdom. He leads us on to the next stage of the journey after The Heartfulness Way, guiding us on how to use the Heartfulness practices to refine our lifestyle and design our destiny, including our destiny in the afterlife. He elaborates on the subject of consciousness, the role of evolution, and explains what happens to us at the time of birth and death—and how we can act in those pivotal moments when life takes a turn.

Daaji inspires us to believe in ourselves and find a way forward, no matter what the challenge, and look at even the most difficult situation as an opportunity to grow. He emphasises that, with a few simple practices, a heart full of enthusiasm and expanded consciousness, we can all discover our potential and the destiny we were born to fulfil.

My Review - Wow! Seriously this book has the capacity to change the mind and life of even the stones. This book gave me a much-needed perspective in my life. If you think this book is going to change your future then it will surely do. But if you think it'll give you some short cut trick to change your future then you're wrong. This book is an indirect approach through which one can 'design destiny'. The book gives you tools, the tools to transform yourself through various tested methods from time unknown. The methods which up until a few years ago were practised by a number of people but in the era of technology, self-doubt is the things that are surging like a wildfire. Self-doubt and doubts over the things which are not Scientifically proven over a research paper. No, I'm not against science or anything but as the saying goes - 'The things that science can't prove is often called Magic or Myth, If you believe in them they are real and if you do not, then wait for the science to prove it'. The book enlightens and acts as a guide for the reader seeking answers to the age-old questions like - 'Why does this happened to me?', 'Why am I here?', 'How can I change my Destiny?'. All these questions might get an answer to every reader who approaches this book through an open mind. By open mind I mean to say is, without criticizing and without questioning. If one feels that this is all rubbish then try some of these methods a few times and observe the changes. A lot of many age-old methods which you've seen your Grandparents practice which made you search for the logic behind it is explained beautifully throughout the book. This book changed a lot in me and gave me hope and a path on where and how can I change my 'Destiny' by changing 'myself'. The book also has some illustrations which are neatly drawn and help us understand better.

Conclusion - This book can change the Human in you and thus your Destiny.

Name of the book - Designing Destiny by Kamlesh Patel.
Stars given - 5 on 5 stars.
My take on the book-
So I am gonna be honest here, I am a tad hit biased about this book.
You see I have read the previous one and exactly 1 yearish later I am reading this part.
So a lot of old memories have come up with this one.
Most of them amazing and some not so much.
I did get a lot of peace as far as the first one was concerned and the second book didn't disappoint at all.
We all have questions and concerns and lots of confusion in our lives.
With so many options at hand one is bound to be a tad bit disoriented about making a choice. For this choice is bound affect his or her future.
What is to one do?
Especially after a big loss or a failure.
Does one give up on their dreams for they aren't working or simply cause it's taking too much time?
What is to be done?
Simple read the book.
Not my interpretation of it but the actual one.
Trust me you will learn a lot.
PS what is the biggest advise ever given to you that changed your life?
For me it was my brother and writing guru Susovon Da saying 'You have no idea what you are capable of'.

Since I am a hardcore spiritualist and meditate for an hour a day since past two years, I loved the essence of this book and what the author vouched for! Loved how he explained the most difficult yet important questions in an effortless way but for everyone who’s a beginner or just getting into spirituality, this book won’t work because of jargon, technicalities, explanations of experiences only a person who meditates can resonate to.

P.S.- Read it after you get a little acquainted and versed with meditation, initially. Rather, read some books related to spirituality from Ruzbeh N. Bharucha and then, move towards this. If you are a pro in all this and science of spirituality, then Deepak Chopra is the one for you.

Editing this after so long : I’ve gradually found Rubeh and Deepak superficial post a certain extent and don’t recommend them at all now. You can read books by Sri Eknath Eswaran or A. parthasarathy

"There is no absolute free will and no absolute fate. Life is lived somewhere in between these two extreme view". How true. This forms the rationale for this extremely useful book that goes beyond just 'gyaan'. There are indeed some seminal statements in the form principles of destiny outlined in the beginning and "the first principle of destiny is that we can only change it in the present". The second is "that we create it for ourselves by our everyday thought". The solution therefore is to "start by training the instrument that is going to design our destiny". This is precisely what the book does. Helps the reader to train.

Suffice is this book to revaluate and recalibrate our lives and become a better version of self, with more tolerance, acceptance and humility and a new perspective to have a fulfilling life.
Heartfulness practices are easy to understand and even easier to incorporate in our routines.
I found few pockets extremely boring and had to put efforts to keep going. Would have liked it more if the text was little more engaging.

REVIEW

I have heard about Kamlesh Patel known as ‘Daaji.’ So, when I got the opportunity to read his book I was not able to stop myself. Designing Destiny by Kamlesh Patel is a must read book. I got this book at the right moment and is a very interesting and a wonderful self help book.

Through this book, author has highlighted on the aspect of ‘Destiny’ which holds a very crucial part in our lives. And, it is believed that everything is destined, but the author has explained how one can create and change own destiny. Through this book, he answers the major questions which are asked by many people- What does destiny mean in the course of our lives?, What is fixed and what can be changed?, and how can we design our own destiny? For these questions, he provides us with simple solutions wherein he elaborated on the subject of consciousness, the role of evolution and even explains what happens at the time of birth.

Designing Destiny bought a lot of positivity within me when I was reading it. The book is written in a very simple manner with each and everything explained in great detail supported with various examples which made the reading experience very interesting and light. The book took me on an insightful journey, totally away from the reality making my reading experience very intense. For me, this book was for self realisation as it made me realise a lot of mistakes that I had committed. It truly changed my perspective towards life.

We all face many problems and the author has given the solution in a simple way in this book. I really liked the fact that the author has very systematically divided the book into four parts- introduction, practice, lifestyle and destiny, free will and freedom of choice. And, the best solution to fight with any problem is Meditation as it makes our mind clear, takes us away from our past and makes us realize who we are. So, the main focus is by practicing meditation one can achieve anything in the world.

Overall, this book is a must read. The author in a very simple way has given us a very practical solution to our problems. This book is very important in today’s time.

.
Thank you so much for the author and Writers Melon for the review copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
.
This book mainly deals with the three basic principles of defining our own destiny wrt our mind, body and even the day to day things we do.
.
The first thing I loved about this book was the interactive way the concepts that are discussed are presented. The style of writing was very similar to the Heartfulness way, and I was a really good fan of making a non-fiction book really interactive. You not only learn about the concept, but follow the journey of the author as well and learns about things as the time goes.
.
The second thing that really made me love this book was the pencil sketching in between! I never would have expected to see a visual representation of the things that are discussed in the book and it was such an amazing thing to refer! Not o mention the step by step instruction as to how to achieve the principle concepts that are discussed in detail. The research that has been done to derive the formulae , simple experiments that explains the benefits of meditation and the sketches that are the main representation of what we need to learn, was amazing.
.
There were a lot of things I absolutely loved in this book. Few of the concepts I really loved from this book are
- It is okay to want different things from your daily mundane routines. That just sets you apart
- Just few minutes of meditating can transform your mind and refreshes yourself
- It is important to remove the prejudice you have about anything before you want to pursue it
- It is okay to be imperfect and want peace through meditation. With the increase in our hectic schedule, we deserve that much
- Acceptance is the first step to designing your destiny
.
Overall, even if you are not a non-fiction fan, I would definitely recommend reading this book. I am super glad that I have read both The heartfulness way and Designing destiny. I have tried to implement a lot of things these book taught me, and even though I can't say I am the most peaceful person, I will definitely say I have the energy to withstand a lot more after my daily meditation!. I definitely recommend you guys read this book.

The first principle of destiny is that we can only change it in the present.

As humans we often wonder what purpose do we have in this world. Mostly we do not have an answer and in order to fill this void we are constantly trying to avoid thinking about it.

We are running away from our problems, never taking a moment to question ourselves. We are embroiled in our everyday lives, small issues always craving that inner peace bit never actively doing anything to try to achieve it.

The second principle is that we create destiny for ourselves with our everyday thoughts – our wishes , what attracts us and repels us , our likes and dislikes.

Designing destiny is a book that tries to guide us toward mental peace and bring us closer to ourselves.

It tries to guide us to a set of processes that will help us design our destiny, change it and give it a direction we want it to take.

The third principle is that we need to work upon the mind to design our destiny. And for this we need a meditative practice.

The book is lucid and the procedures are simple. All they require is practice.

I have myself tried the first step of Relaxation and I have to say that it has helped me. It has not been many days but I am sure this book can help a lot many others.

The final principle is that we are not alone – we are all connected. To design the destiny of humanity we start with ourselves first and then expand our radius to include others. A day will surely come when, together , we are capable of changing the direction humanity is taking.

Designing Destiny by Daaji is a self help non- fictional book.

This book grabbed my attention right from the first page, as it talks about a topic which is very relevant and we all worry about, i.e "Destiny".

The book discusses about how we can control and create our destiny in the present and that can be done by done through meditation.

It is divided in four parts to explain in a better way, as how we can work on designing our destiny through meditation, practice, lifestyle, free will and freedom of choice.

The specialty of this book is that it contains basics about everything explained in it, from meditation to sleeping, relaxation and how should we proceed about everything in life.

It has great examples and a wonderful narration of facts along with examples which makes it a quick read, it also contains required illustrations in various chapters to simplify things.

At some point, everyone will not agree to what is written in the book and in a similar way I also don't agree to some facts mentioned in it, but this book has made me realise the importance of meditation in life and doing it with self will.

Overall this is one of best self-help book that I have read which explains our mind and destiny and how we can design destiny of the humanity.

Reading this book will help in freshening up the mind and realising the inner potential.

The cover is minimalistic and so soothing and calming. There are 4 parts and within which 15 chapters are written . Very thoughtfully the thoughts of Daaji are mentioned. They are apt to be used in our modern lifestyle which does not demand a lot of change to adapt the heartfulness. Just like the first book , this book has effective ways portrayed to reduce stress , anxiety , etc. The book emphasizes on the need to feel love in our daily activities like eating , sleeping , speaking , which brings emotional stability , respect and mindful control of thoughts. There are diagrams too and drawings that adds depth. Very lucid motivating language.Though you may not fully come to believe each statement as it is basically thoughts of others and to experience them you need to give yourself time and observe , but if thought deeper we do understand with time what really matters and a peaceful heart is always better that brings confirmed better future. Wonderful book .

Very philosophical. Intangible feelings and thoughts are plenty to which we don't find any connection. Through meditation you may find that feeling into you and you may find this book enjoyable.

Destiny is one topic which always intrigues me. Everything is planned or do we have a say in it. Daaji explains it in the most concise manner and easy to understand. In fact, the back side of the cover summarises it all well. Through meditation it is possible to fill colours of your choice in your destiny.

Remembering how much I learned from the previous book The Heartfulness Way, I picked up Designing Destiny. And the book doesn't disappoints. As I learned a great deal from this one as well.

Like a tip to control anger, perfect time to do meditation, scientific reason behind offering water to the Sun,  importance of fasting on
Ekadasi, harmful effects of radiation in our life, graphic on it was mind boggling, need of poise and stillness in life and many more.

And my mind was brimming with satisfaction as it does each time when I read a book which is deeply moving and made me think.

This is another book by Daaji Kamlesh Patel in which he explains the benefits of Meditation, the Heartfulness way.
In this book, he has gone a few steps further and shows on how one can actually design his own destiny by following simple practices of Meditation, Cleaning, Prayer and Attitude.
The book is divided into 4 parts, wherein the first part explains as to what is Destiny, its importance and how do we start designing it. The second part is all about practicing the techniques of meditation which includes Relaxation, Meditation, Cleaning, Prayer and the Attitude towards it. The third part is about how to transform our lifestyle and how does one improve on our relationships with everyone around and which in turn transforms our character and ultimately forms our destiny. The last part is about when you understand your destiny and its meaning.
The book has a lot of spiritual teachings and will enlighten the reader in a big way. This book is supposed to be read slowly and each word needs to be understood to the core, only then the reader will understand the true essence of the Heartfulness way of Designing Destiny. This is not a bed time book which one might read to get refreshed after a hard day’s work, this is almost like a holy book or a bible, where you need to leave everything away and read it with a fresh mind. I would recommend one to read it in the mornings just like one gets up and offers prayer to God.
The vocabulary used by the author is easy to understand but full concentration is needed, otherwise there is no point in reading this book. The book needs to be read a few pages at a time, master what Daaji has to say, once you get the point then go ahead and read some more.
Overall, a brilliant book which when read properly has the potential of changing one’s lifestyle, changing the way one looks at the world, changing the way one is living in this world. A truly Life changing book!

This is my second book by the author and I am completely mesmerized by the way author has portrayed real life problems and provided its solutions through the powerful key of "Meditation". The process of Meditation has been elaborately discussed in the book. There are ways to indulge into meditation and bring transformation in our lives. The book has discussed almost all the problems associated with a human being. There are conflicts which we fight everyday within ourselves, a battle within is the toughest battle that we have to fight for the survival. The mind has been the most powerful unit controlling an individual. The author has described the problems and elaborately explained the solution with the help of daily life examples. The book has references from Ashtavakra Gita and Bible. Destiny and how true is the designing of destiny has been discussed by the author. The three major principles of destiny are the key to enlightenment.

The book also discusses relationship, love, behavior at workplace/home, and other major areas. How you can help yourself with the power of meditation to control your mind, it has been one of the common queries at the self-help seminars. The chapters also discuss about sleep patterns, breathing, rhythm, lunar cycles and fasting.

The transmission in life can be achieved by bringing in changes as described in the book. However, there are masterclasses available at the Heartfulness centres. There is also an application called "HeartsApp" and the author has provided an email for contacting further with any queries on transmission and meditation- info@heartfulness.org.

The word destiny itself is fascinating. Most of the time we believe all the happenings in our life is just because of density. But we forget to analyze the situation and recall present in influenced by past and future is determined by present. This book helps you to explore and deep dive towards your destiny.

I serendipitously discovered the book, "Designing Destiny - The Heartfulness Way" by Kamlesh Patel (aka Daaji). Amazon's AI algorithm (more often than not) makes intelligent recommendations based on my past (books) purchase history; this book was on the recommended list. I found the title intriguing and like always ended up buying.

As I come to an end of this powerful book, I must say that it is an improvized and crystallized version of Patanjali's Ashtanga (eight-step) yogic practice. The book is divided into fours sections/principles, as below:

- First Principle: Destiny can only be changed in the present.
- Second Principle: We create destiny for ourselves with our everyday thoughts.
- Third Principle: We need to work upon the mind (subtle body) to design our destiny. And for this we need a meditative practice.
- Fourth Principle: We are not alone - we are all connected. To design the destiny of humanity we start with ourselves first and then expand the radius to include others.

Daaji practiced pharmacy in New York City for over three decades, before being named as the successor in a century-old lineage of spiritual masters. His scientific bent of mind is evident in his teachings. I've lost count of instances (from the book) where I was left awestruck to read for the very first time the scientific inclination/reason behind a given spiritual practice.

He goes on to explain that we have three bodies: the physical body, the subtle/astral body (mind), and the causal body (soul). He tells us that there's little we can do to change the physical and causal body. However, the subtle body, which is the energy field of the mind and the heart, is an arena we can change drastically. We can develop and help it to evolve, in order to design our destiny.

When the book culminates to talk about the interconnectedness of all humanity, I am introduced to a new term "egregore". It's such a beautiful coincidence that I got to apply this concept the same day, when at 21:00 hours for nine minutes on Apr 5, 2020 I turned off all lights at home and lighted an earthen lamp in my balcony, as a gesture to indicate the coming together of all humanity. Little had I known, that our honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi was drawing upon the ancient & occult wisdom (left behind by the sages) while making an appeal to the nation to light a 'Diya' (a beautiful word which means to give), in order to pray for the well-being of one and all, during these challenging times when people worldwide are fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, visit the website - https://heartfulness.org/ to learn more about the Heartfulness practice.

Most of the times when things work our one way or don't go the way we want,we blame it on destiny! And many times we feel that we should be able to rule destiny or at least get it to work according to our wishes!
Well, this book does just that! As the title suggests, Designing Destiny book by Daaji explains the facets of the inner self to shape destiny the way you want it!! Interesting isn't it!
At first I was a bit skeptical and then went on to read it at intervals. Since this is not the genre I would readily pick up, I did not want to forcefully read it for the sake of completing it.
The book is divided into 4 parts.
Part 1 is the introduction and talks about destiny, fate and free will, how to start and what steps to follow
Part 2 is Practice which talks about the why's, how's / methods. There are notes on relaxation, cleaning[letting go of the past], Prayer, Attitude, Meditation, Yoga and neuroscience and guidance.
Part 3 is Lifestyle which deals with transforming yourself and transforming your relationships
Part 4 talks about destiny, meaning of experience, evolution, destiny and vibration
The book ends with a glossary.
There a some tables and like sketches in the book. Tables as points for things like relaxation, cleaning, meditation etc. The sketches for things liek the 3 bodies, 4 subtle bodies,13 chakras, radiation experiments with moong dal etc.
In this book, the author gives us insights and guides us through the various aspects of life thereby helping us design our destiny!
There are a lot of tips that are really helpful and we can even go back to certain sections of the book to read when needed and understand it better. Some of his points are given a scientific backup / explanation and that makes it all the more reliable and wants us to try them out too.
Another thing that I found interesting is that it is not based on any particular sect / religion. It talks more of the inner self and the inner being that focusing on the outside stuffs.
The language is simple and easy to follow. There are references from Bagavat Gita and even a tiny tale from Mulla Nasaruddin! Simple day to day experiences and events are used to put across a point which really does the work effectively!!

My recommendation-Yes,go for it! A very different genre but an interesting one!
My dad was the first to start reading this book and he felt I may not like it.But on reading it , I found it to be informative and also thought provoking!
Since this genre is not something I read quite often, I found that reading it part by part made more sense than reading it off like a novel.Definitely a good one!

❤Designing Destiny By Kamlesh Patel❤
Daaji leads us on to the next stage of the journey after The Heartfulness Way, guiding us on how to use the Heartfulness practices to refine our lifestyle and design our destiny, including our destiny in the afterlife. He elaborates on the subject of consciousness, the role of evolution, and explains what happens to us at the time of birth and death—and how we can act in those pivotal moments when life takes a turn.
.
📚My Take: Self- help is not my type & I know it. Though, I haven't really read the part 1 but this book seemed really amazing to way. We all are wanderers who wander to seek happiness & peace. When, you run after happiness, you will never achieve it. It all comes from inside, from the inner heart, mind & soul. Happiness is not so hard to bring in your life but it takes ultimate peace of mind & satisfaction to be happy. This book has it all, designing destiny actually helps you design your destiny with it's helpful ways. The book is very very admirable & practical. Spiritual or self-help book, most of the time they are not practical, they mostly contains a lot of virtual knowledge which is not applicable.
.
In this book you will seek practical knowledge about how to live a good living, along with it, it helps to seek peace of the inner mind. The book usually talks about alot of topics in succession. The language is easy & nutritive. You can complete in a single go, the only thing is you need to read it more carefully. The narrtion was good, I even liked the examples. I wish the book has more vivid narrtion & more colourful examples. Though, many of them relatable but some of them weren't on point. I loved how the author didn't exaggerated it anyway. It's a good read, especially if you are looking for a good book in this genre. I loved it. Definitely recommended.

We all have often wondered what role does destiny play in shaping our lives. So many times, we read in history and mythology about how things were meant to happen and how it was the destiny. So if everything is already destined then why are we given choices, can our choices change out destiny? 'Designing Destiny's tries to answer all such questions.

This book covers many different aspects what does destiny means in our life, how much is fixed and how much can be changed? How our lifestyle, meditation, our choices contribute to a better living.I absolutely loved the way in which the author has penned down his experiences and thoughts.

This is one those books which will change your perspective, will make you think and understand how you are responsible or not responsible for what you do. This is not a usual self help book, which gives you tips or a list of do's and dont's. It will make you reflect, analyse and decide for yourself.

One of my most favorite parts from the book was 'Lifestyle'. The author has given us many practical tips about we can excel in everything we do, how we should make good use of our time, how to accept difficulties and many more important points. I found myself nodding at each point the author said and trust this book is definitely worth reading.I am so glad that I got an opportunity to read this book and I surely will be checking out other books by this author.

This book explains the concept of destiny and how it can only be changed in the present through meditative practices and developing spirituality. It convey that to design our destiny we should start with designing ourselves. Life is all about developing wisdom, skills and attitudes which makes us a better human being and these can only be achieved through practice which will eventually lead to a lifestyle thus moulding our destiny. The importance of meditation along with the steps to be followed is well explained in this book. It teaches you how to let go off the past and forgive everyone to achieve eternal peace and happiness. Initially you may not see the results in yourselves but if you practice it everyday then in the long run you will feel a change in your attitude and lifestyle giving you a sense of spirituality and self development. You will feel more compassionate and relaxed.

The author has explained various situations with beautiful examples which ignite a sense of realization within you. After reading you will feel more motivated and determined to shape your future. He has also explained various human emotions in an analytical manner which makes you question your thoughts and action. The book is simple yet powerful and will leave a deep mark once you have finished reading. The language used is simple and easily understandable and the style of narration is commendable which doesn’t let you feel disinterested. Every chapter has a different lesson to impart which will help to transform yourself. Various life lessons along with proper guidance are embedded in this book. It inspires to lead a spiritual life in this materialistic world. I highly recommend this book. It is definitely a must read.

I expected designing destiny to be another inspirational book telling me the Dos and donts of life and then leaving half of the expectations to fate and destiny. But instead, I found this book to be quite insightful and profound. It helped me think about different perspectives and how important it is to prioritize your actions for shaping your future. Your future is nothing but a consequence of your present actions. The first step to shaping one’s destiny is to understand the basic question of who one is. Once you know yourself, define a goal and work hard to achieve that goal. All of us fall prey to circumstances and sometimes lose hope, thinking that we’ll never be able to achieve our objectives because it is not in our fate. The book shows you the other side of the coin and makes you sure that you are the master of your own fate. The writing of this book is wonderful and engages a reader. The incidents mentioned in the book make it more realistic and relatable which is why it is the first (almost spiritual) non-fiction that I actually liked. And best of all, I think I have found this book at quite the right time as I was feeling a bit down.

Today, we live in a state of chronic stress and a never ending list of expectations from ourselves, from others and from our destiny!
Sometimes, I wonder have we forgotten the feeling of satisfaction and peace?
We spend so much time thinking about our past and so little about our future..
This book sheds light on how can we design our destiny by choosing a proper lifestyle and balancing our thoughts and our personality.
The best part of the book is that the practices mentioned are very approachable and practical. It is not like most of the self help books, which seem to be 'to good to be true' and impractical. One can easily try these and see the difference.
It tells that we can surely design our destiny in the present, by designing ourselves and our lifestyle!
Small inclusions of meditative and spiritual practices can bring big difference in our life. All we need to do is stop complaining and regretting about our past and present and focus on improving our future in a peaceful and a happy way.
This book can help you change how you look at life and can help to be more focused and peaceful.
It is surely a beautiful and very helpful book.

We all have been leading materialistic lives for a long time now. We don't realize but we're drifting away from the profoundness of life. We don't give it much thought simply because perhaps we don't care, this book reminds you exactly why you should care. Thought provoking concepts that will make you see past your mundane lives and see existence in a different light. This book takes you on an enlightening journey and make you understand destiny in a much deeper level than the usual superficial definition we've been taught since childhood.

The writing style is endearing and every concept, every lesson has been explained so well that anyone can easily grasp the meaning behind the words.

All the questions that we've all asked atleast once in our lives are provided with solutions that are a product of utter wisdom.

This book isn't gonna change your life but it will inspire you to take charge and do it on your own. An insightful read with beautiful illustrations and strong narrative.

I totally recommend it.
