This is one of the worst books I’ve ever read. It’s political garbage where the author pretends the other political party is both evil and stupid. It’s very predictable by the 10th page when the author has made his political leanings clear. Don’t waste your time with the shallow and hollow characters and paint by numbers plot.

An attack on all of your senses

Ryan studies another of humankind’s nefarious predilections in this latest Atlas Hargrave action thriller. Human smuggling, slavery and worse are the subject of this riveting story. There are good people doing bad things to bad people doing even worse things. The characters are real in their demons and struggles. This book is not for the feint of heart but that is par for the course with Ryan’s books. It makes you wonder about all of those missing person photos you see when you are shopping. This is an excellent book on the real things most of us don’t think about as we go on with our life. But I have to admit that there were some laughs and loving tears, also.

This is book two, and I have ordered book three. This reading is not for the faint of heart, it is full of awful things done to innocent children that makes you really angry and sick! It is full of despicable actions and violence and I while don't consider myself a violent person nor one who feeds on it, when really bad things happen to truly evil people, the revenge is very satisfying. They outright deserve it! This author paints a picture of the personalities of each person in the story so that you feel like you know them, the good, the bad, and the outright evil. He keeps you engaged in the plot and on the edge of your seat in anticipation and fear, and provides you with a feeling of righteous retribution. I loved it.

A Gritty Talented Authr

These books are horrific and not entirely fictional. I have been to Prague, St.Louis and Juarez, and I have watched their Maria's walk by. I have been marched at machine gun for three hours, and slept out on open ground in West African game parks while lions crawled to within 35 feet, and that did not scare me as much as these human predators have done. There is evil out there and you should pull in your antenna and hope it does not see you.
Enjoy the read.

Truly Beasts

The way the story was written was so intense I had to stop at times to catch my breath. Atlas Hargrove, once again foes not disappoint. He is still a ruthless, murderous hero, never stopping until his form of justice is delivered.
This novel gets a bit too intense, almost offensive at times. However the gore, intense drama, methods of payback, once again kept me reading non-stop
It does seem the .author is rather obsessed with payback to human traffickers
I'm hoping to see another premise in the next book

Heart pounding action!

Just like the first book, this episode of Atlas Hargraves' adventures hits the ground running and explodes. The action is fast paced and relentless. The characters continue to develop and drag you into their lives. And you keep hoping somehow Atlas will finally get his daughter found and maybe get a chance to live his life.

I will be getting the next book as soon as it comes out!

An exciting action packed read.

This series takes on a part of life that people want to deny exist. It does exist and we need people like this going after them and making them pay for their sins. Atlas is a man with nothing left to lose but his missing daughter. He stands at the ready to find and recover missing children no matter where in the world they may be. Looking forward to the 4book. Keep up the great work.

Another winner from Schow.

I've never read a Schow novel that wasn't a great book to read.
No book is worth a damn if you don't care about the characters.
Hargrove and his surrounding cast are easy to think of as people you care about.I've been reading since I was five years old. I know a good book, and I recognize excellence in writers.
Schow is amazing. This novel is amazing.

If you're looking for trouble, you must be looking for Atlas Hargrove. Welcome to Juarez, Mexico, the most crime ridden, corrupt city in the world. It is here where you find Atlas... in jail and in trouble with everyone. Not everyone knows it, but that is the best place to keep him. When they release him is when the trouble starts. Fantastic book. I would recommend it to all my vet friends. Lots of action.

Liked the first one better , but full of action it’s not for the faint of heart but if you believe in the child tariffing we have in our society you will read the details first hand . This one was a little political but could very well be true with the past corruption in DC . When you read in real life when a child goes missing this book tells you what could happen. There are true monsters out there in our world it’s about time you learn what happens.

An emotional roller coaster

An absolutely intense addition to the Atlas Hargrove series! Whether you have children or not, the author again delves into the world of sex trafficking and makes you wish that you are a part of Atlas's team. There is evil in this world and the author brings it front in center in these books...

The Equalizers

This author is a masterful story teller. He enables his characters to elicit every emotion known to man in the reader. If my child was ever taken I want Atlas Hargrove, Leopold Wentworth & his team in my corner. A ferocious thriller. Frightening, deadly & for keeps. Brilliant.

Another extremely well written story. I love the fact that its impossible to guess what will happen next, or how it'll work out. I swear my heart rate increases, my heart pounds, and I want to jump out of my skin. I absolutely adore the characters, and I can't wait to start the next book.......in 5 minutes!

A Long Time Coming

Atlas is finally out for another mission after months in the slam, often in solitary. Thrust into another dark place to right wrongs and "pay for his daughter to be found ". What will remain of him by the time she is located? More than will be left of those he deals with in the darkness for sure.

Hard to read.

Hard to believe that things like this are still going here and around the world. Too bad society can't wake up and help stop this. That's why we need people as written.

Worth waiting on.

The second novel in Atlas Hargrove tortured life. These novels tell tales of awful things. The traffickers of children are sick evil inhabitants who cater to even worse individuals, their customers.

The Beasts Roar

The series is a winner … moves the heart and the mind … with its stories, it’s characters, it’s writing. Everything comes together and the whole is stronger than it’s parts — and those parts are all darn excellent on their own.

Terrific, exciting read. Atlas is a memorable character as are most of the other players. The "team" is up against antagonists who define sheer villainy and depravity. Keeps your interest from start to finish.

The world is sick

Hopefully there are some people who can and do these kind of things to help people and children, it's what we really need in this world now. Unfortunately it is just a dream.

vengeance!

Action galore! And perhaps too much detail but the bad guys are so bad that all is justified. Personally I would prefer a lot less severe response by the good guys. It’s worth a read for anyone ready to taken the most severe villains of current time.
