Her visions being exposed could very well be the least of her worries. The trip to Shreville is nothing like Vivilyn had imagined. After the chaos of the last Choosing Ceremony, she has something to prove to not only the people, but also herself. When a high ranking general from Kreistos solicits her help, she finds herself stuck at a crossroad. Does her duty lie with her kingdom and her blossoming relationship with Aiden? Or with people like her? People with magic?
This is definitely a 5 star series! I have been captivated by these trials and tribulations! I am intrigued with all the possibilities of what is to come! Action packed, magical, on the edge of you seat excitement!
This was the best book in the series thus far. The pace was much more fluid, there's more action that not only plays out fully, but has follow up, there's drama, suspense, and mystery. It felt like the stakes were higher and certain elements were starting to finally click together. I did notice at least one glaring plot hole, but maybe we'll eventually circle back to that. I think other aspects have also been made abundantly clear, but the FMC is acting a little dense. That said, I have more anticipation about what's going to happen next and how certain characters are going to develop more on their own as well as with others. Hopefully, this is the turning point.
Short and engrossing, action packed with great characterization and plot. All the main and secondary characters are interesting and reveal more depth with each book.
