This book is phenomenal! I loved the characters (Rowan is MINE) - and the build-up of their individual relationships. I liked the unique storyline and OMG - that ending. I'm dying for Book 2. If you like paranormal RH, then you have to give this one a shot.

A mysterious start to a new series. The heroine Hannah is out of her element and the interests know everything . They want to forge a future but with so many secrets and other things out there . It isn't easy for her to find her way through Uni.

SO.FREAKING.PHENOMENAL!!
Ali D. Jensen has completely obliterated me with this story in the BEST way! It’s hard to believe this is the first PNR she has written, because damn, you’d assume she is a seasoned veteran of PNR! This story was so unlike anything I have ever read! The storyline so unique and original, it completely consumed me right away at the prologue until the very end.
I love Hannah! She is such a strong, kind, and radiant individual. Despite her traumatic past and loosing the only family member and friend she had, she still continues to live every day, even if not fully in her eyes. And as she meets her mates, her confidence and passion seem to grow and exude from her body.
Grey, Rowan and Killian...damn does Ali know how create sexy as sin men! I love how each of them are so different, so unique in their own way, but they mesh so well. And with Hannah, their circle, their bond has been completed in a way that they never knew they needed despite being her guardians from birth.
This story was full of mystery, intrigue, battles and wars waging, creatures one has only read in fairytales and storybooks. There is so much to love about this book!! I need book 2 like ASAP! It’s going to consume my thoughts until their story continues! Ali D. Jensen has written a masterpiece!

What a star
This is a treasure! You all will not be ready. Totally excited for book 2. I didn't know what to make of the guys, but after reading these whole book in one sitting I have to stake my claim on Rowan! I loved Killian and Grey but seriously fell in love with Rowan. This fantasy read was definitely the start of an amazing ride.

That ending was absolutely crazy . I wish they didn’t let her suffer like she did and were honest and upfront from the beginning but guys are Idiots/jerks and never understand being truthful and honest is key but playing games is what they chose instead and look where that got them. I need book 2

This book is a dark start to a new series. Mates, supernaturals, dubcon. I like the premise of the book but found myself skimming a couple of areas. After that cliffhanger of an ending, I’m really curious about what comes next.

This book was my first solo book from this author, and I have to say she's going to be a one-click from now on. I enjoy her writing style and the depth that each of her characters have. This story was extremely interesting, and I'm already begging for more.
Before I go into what I loved, I do want to say that if you have triggers, especially those relating to sex, please click the spoiler link. I don't have issues with this, so this didn't bother me personally, but I don't like how it wasn't mentioned in the blurb or inside the book itself.
Now, onto the book itself. So honestly, I found it a little slow to get into, but once I did, I flew threw this book. As in, once I reached a pinnacle point, I didn't put it down and had it finished in about six hours. That's unheard of for me, but the mystery and intrigue of this series had me on the edge of my seat.
The author is great at world-building, and the way she described the areas had me able to clearly picture it. I always prefer more description, and this gave just that.
Hannah is a character that I instantly connected with, and that's always important in an FMC. She's got a very complex backstory, something the author has used to shape the woman she is today.
The men... the men are assholes, to begin with. Okay, they're kinda just assholes full stop. But their devotion to Hannah, their need to keep her safe, is something I can respect. I don't really have a favourite, but I don't have a least favourite either. I'm looking forward to seeing their reaction to the ending, and I think that there will be a chance for further character development of these men. I'm excited to see them a little off their game, so to speak.
I've read two books by this author now, and something they both have in common is the giant cliffhangers. I think she gets off on it, personally, but she's so good at them. It was a bittersweet moment as I was getting to the end, and then I found myself screaming on the last page. I'm desperately in need of book two.
This book is filled with amazing world-building, scary and psychotic men, and a strong-willed FMC. Hannah's story has had a very interesting start, and I'm left with so many questions.
Ali D Jensen might have just made her way to the top of my ultimate favourite author list, and she deserves it so much. This book isn't light and fluffy, but the depth of the emotion within it is insane. This lady is talented, and I can't wait to start her other series! I really do recommend this series!

If I could give it more that 5 stars I would.
I have read other books by Ali D Jensen before and thoroughly enjoyed them so I was really looking forward to reading this book. When I saw the blurb I did question if it was for m as I'm not usually a huge fan of paranormal romance but I think this book may have changed my mind on that score. I have to warn you there are some triggers in the MFC past such as sexual assault etc which is hard to read but knowing her backstory is entirely necessary for you to understand the story. Hannah has been through more in her short life than most go through ever but is stronger for it, the men who come in to her life are dark and dangerous and in the beginning are total pigs, they are not filled with romantic gestures and hearts and flowers but are absolutely devoted to keeping her safe although it can be hard to see that at times. Then you get to that cliffhanger ending which made me want to throw my phone. Omg I really hope book 2 releases early.

I had never read anything by this author before so I didn’t quite know what to expect, the story itself is quite original and well developed, there were times when I think the author focused a lot on the descriptions of environments and internal monologues of the characters, but on overall it is a fascinating world that has been developed and made me look forward to the next books.

Woowee was this a doozy!
First off, I will say that this book has a complex and deep storyline. I don’t think this is one that you can just pick up because of the pretty cover (totally guilty about that a lot), you definitely need to read the blurb to have some semblance of an idea of what is going on. Even then, you’re still discovering the layers of the story along with Hannah. I love that it is not immediately known what the heck is going on.
My heart aches for Hannah and the trauma she went through. But I loved seeing her character develop and her confidence spark to life. The guys may not have gone about everything the right way, but ultimately they were good for her and her soul.
What’s the biggest doozy? That ending. What the actual fudge!! My mind is reeling and I’m anxious to read the next!

Ali D Jensen what have you done? This book is out of this world! I can’t believe this is her first PRN book.
Her take on PRN is nothing you could have imagined. The time and dedication Jensen spent on her characters could be seen through her writing. The shift in point of view from one character to another was seen within the first couple of words. The difference in moods, even within the same characters, was distinct. I am amazed at her gift in reaching her readers through her characters and this book is no different. You feel what Hannah was going through, all her flashbacks, discoveries, and emotions. This book is heavy and not for those who have triggers but it phenomenal.
Can I get this next book please? I need it now!

That was SO good! The story was really original and I was immersed in it from the first page to the last one.
The characters are likeable, the h is such a strong woman, my heart ached for her! Her mates? Wow, her mates... sex on a stick, each one unique in their own way, I loved them all of course. And the cover? It deserves 10 freaking stars! I loved every dark, delicious aspect of this book. I couldn't read it fast enough... Definitely a must read! And we need the 2nd book like... right now please?!

I absolutely loved this book! It is inspiring to see how Hannah tries to put her past behind her and have a normal life... Well, as normal as can be when the Dark Hearts are involved ;) The three of them are really something and I am totally in love with Rowan. He got added to my list of book boyfriends, just saying.
It's a great PNR story, with amazing characters and that ending! God, what a cliffhanger! You are in for a treat! I literally couldn't stop flipping pages until it was over.

What an ending!! I loved everything about Dark Hearts.
The fact that so many bad things happened to Hannah and she didn’t become jaded is EVERYTHING! I love that her heart and souls stays pure.
Let’s talk about those guardians! Grey, Killian and Rowan and perfection. Their tactics on Hannah are weird but when you know... you know.

I loved this book from the moment that I started reading. You cannot help but fall in love with these characters and you want to be there with them and see them succeed. The story moves along at a really nice pace making for an enjoyable read and will keep you reading till the end. This is a must read and needs to be on your TBR list, no doubt about it.

OMFG!!! So I’m love with this book!! You are pulled in and can’t get out. I couldn’t put it down. As a huge fan of Ali’s this book made me want to stalk her even more. Everyone is claiming The characters in this book but I’m in love with Hannah. The things she’s been through have made her my hero! This book will knock you off your seat and I can’t wait for the next one!!

Well written PNR. Hannah is strong and doesn’t let the past define her. She has no family left. She faces many challenges, meet her mates and learns about different supernaturals. Will Hannah overcome the challenges she is facing or will she fail and give up? Can’t wait to read the next book

I was blown away from the start the way you weaved this story had me hooked. I guess I'm jumping on the Rowan wagon as well he was just awwwww.
I laughed, I got emotional, and I wanted to throw my phone at one part. Give me more!!!!

Great original take on the angels and demons dynamic... as always with this author's work patiently awaiting the next book in the series because I am istantly addicted and must have more! Well done!

I could not stop reading. Ali has such a great way of making her characters so relatable n human, n her way of telling a story just catches ahold of you. Cannot wait for the next book.
