Falling for a Daddy Bear

Rate this book
What’s a man to do? You move into the middle of nowhere to get away from the twinks of the world, and one happens to fall in your lap.

Tucker is a self-professed hermit trying to live a simple life in the middle of the forests of Connecticut. A bad relationship left a bitter taste in his mouth. Now all he wants is to work on his wood furniture and be left alone. What is he going to do when a man who pushes all his buttons shows up in his yard?

All Reily ever wanted was a Daddy Bear to cuddle him and maybe do naughty things to him. He’s down to his last dollar but manages to make it to Connecticut for a photography job. How in the world is he supposed to hold it together when he meets his perfect Daddy Bear?

A short "Happy For Now" story! Some heat, snark, and lots of laughs.

L. Michael is a German Author, who started with Fanfiction and then moved to erotic short stories under the pen name Jules Black. From there, it was a small step to the first full-length novel, which will be published in Germany later this year. If not writing or plotting with M. Elton, L. Michael loves binge-watching Crime Shows, Musicals, and Lord of the Rings. And as a nerdy, end-thirty Single, there is a lot of time for all of her favorite things.

M. Elton is an American Author, currently living in Australia (Oh yeah, she's married to an Australian, too) who never thought she would see the day that she got anything published. M Elton has been writing since she was about eight years old but doing nothing about it. It was not until that fate-filled meeting on Facebook. It was just a simple request for a writing buddy, that changed her life.  When she is not writing about the Daddies and Littles of the Rainbow Room, she is walking her doggie, Sasha, and spending quality time with her Daddy

A really cute short story about a Daddy and a Twink, a really fun read, had me chuckling almost all the way through it, until the end. It was an ending without an end, so abrubt I just stared at the page. There has to be more, surely there's more???

A Daddy Bear (Tucker) determined to never lose his heart to another twink. A boy (Riley) looking for a real Daddy Bear to take care of him and be supportive of his career. A fall festival unites them both.

When Riley pushes Tucker too far, things get a little heated. Will the fallout of their actions mean the end of a potential relationship before they’ve even begun?

I didn’t particularly like how it ended. I was loving everything until the very end. Maybe Tucker’s words will make more sense they next time we see these two.

While I know feelings develop quickly in daddy/boy relationships, it was still hard to believe Tucker fell for Riley after all they did was have sex once. They barely knew each other, all their conversation was Tucker growling at Riley to stay away and Riley flirting with him. Then they have sex, Tucker leaves and they cross paths a few days later and Tucker is saying I love you? It made 0 sense to me :/

Was fun and entertaining but was slightly disappointing as I think it could have been much more with a little more care and perhaps a few more pages of carefully constructed scenes to build the dynamic better. Ended rather abruptly and unsatisfyingly.

Considering that Riley would be staying with Tucker for three weeks, it felt unnecessary to have them in love and fucking in about 24 hours. They spend more time apart then together... like, they’ve spent maybe a hour together in each other’s company.

Adorable book. I loved the interactions and chemistry between the main characters, and it was funny, too. Easy five stars.

These guys are good at keeping their secrets from each other but you know it can’t last. They are just what the other needed.
