Good story with all characteristic elements of the genre: Club whores, enemies trying to seize territory, brotherhood and hot sex scenes.
No cheating.

1.5* rounded up because I love unexpected babies

This continues from book 1 where the h/H have separated after the clubwhore sex situation

*Again, this writing style is not for me

*I liked Hawk in these books he offered a lot of good advice(but he totally sucks in his own book)

*H is briefly tempted to have sex but he only wants the h

*He chases her and though they get hot and heavy she mostly is able to stand up for herself

*More club drama

*Yay surprise baby

* It seems this H didn't learn his lesson and kept the secret that the club whore is pregnant too

*******Side note sex without a condom while she's pregnant after he's been up in whoreville bare *shudder*

*The secret comes out, but they eventually make back up

* h is kidnapped, all the bad guys and the pregnant club whore, who handily confessed to the h that the child wasn't the hero's own but really one of the bad guy's 🤷🤦, are all killed

*,Love you, love you

*The end

2-2.5-ish 🐌 to 🚂⭐’s

I’m torn… the last book ended with that shocking/gut punch cliffy, but then it lost all that momentum because this starts at a snail’s pace with the h avoiding the H for 15 CHAPTERS…. It was so BORING!!!

This is trashy romance that requires constant drama llama to make us forget how much of a mess it is… and we’re stuck floundering forever. FINALLY around halfway things pick up, and the last 40% is a straight shot to Crazy Town via the HotMess Express.

Bottom Line- Ok, not great. I’ll round up because it ended strong and was available on KU…. But it’s probably closer to a 2.

Slightly better but not by much.

The hero was drugged and therefore technically raped by his ex hook up. Sure he was into it but only because he thought he was with the heroine. Ex unknowingly and against his knowledge and will slept with him...which I see as rape.

She also pretend she is pregnant with his baby and the idiot hero doesnt tell the heroine for fear of losing her...because yes of course she takes him back.

What made this a bit better was knowing the ex's baby wasnt actually the hero's and he didnt drunkenly cheat on the heroine.

Other than that...this series doesnt really have much depth and I've lost interest.

Wow... loved it

I waited very impatiently for this book ;)
But it was totally worth the wait. After the way we were left by Jasmine and Quill, I was so desperate to see how things played out for them. The hurt and pain is felt through this book, but so is the love. The way Quill loves Jasmine, is very clear. Totally loved this book. I recommend every to read Quill and Jasmine's story.

Quill and Jasmine have been through hell and back, with the club and Quill father and the revival club and his ex hook up. Everyone is trying to push Jasmine away from Quill, when things change between Jasmine and Quill will they be able to push past everything or both go their separate ways.

Worth the wait.

I was not disappointed. I enjoyed Quill and Jasmine story. There were some twists and turns which made it a page Turner. I'm hoping that the next book continues on with quill and Jasmine thrown in, even though it's Hawke's story. Is it a boy or girl?

Thank you

A great conclusion I may a new beginning for Jasmine & Quill! I anxiously awaited this book and I enjoyed t a lot! Although I must admit I'm a happy that Hawke will be getting his own story! Hopefully, Trigger, Blaze, and Tracker will have their stories told in the n so distant future as well.

Also I must add that my editing side has to let you know that I saw quite a few mistakes missed it or maybe over looked which is frustrating.

Lastly, in future stories could you please refrain from using the phrase 'Motorbike' and call it what it really is: a MOTORCYCLE?

Don't read this one unless you have read book 1, which was a cliff hanger. This book concludes the story between the two main characters. Read my review on book one which pretty much covers the whole story https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I would rate the entire story 3.5 stars. I liked the author's writing style and for a new author I think she did a very good job. I think she has the potential to write a much better story as she gains experience.

Soooo good!!!!

I must say the author hit it out of the park with Jazzy and Quill. The sex was crazy hot and Quill is my newest book boyfriend. So alpha, but sweet at the same time oh and just a tad bit crazy, just the way I like them!!! Great job!!!

Don’t love it or Hate it

I have to say that I love the first book. But this book didn’t feel it, found so much things wrong with it. First the title needs to be changed, Tamed really their is nothing to be tamed off on here.

Is it Jasmine supposed to tame Quill we’ll let me tell u she didn’t do her job at all. She supposed to be fierce and not take crap from no one well she didn’t standup for herself. She didn’t stick to her words when she said she was not going to forgive him, come on at least made his ass work for it but she gave in wait to fast.

Now Her so called best friend Luisa yea I wouldn’t call her that, she gave up the secret wait to fast a secret that she wasn’t supposed to tell cause it was not her place, when a friend and in this case best friend tell u that u need time and that u need to go away to think and clear ur mind u stay the hell quiet about it and don’t blur it out to no one even if they torture a best friend would never tell.

Now Quill love him in the first book but in this one his just a total asshole, his allowed to get mad if she talks to other guys, she’s not allowed to explain herself on why she needs to meet up with the ex husband, he won’t hear about it. But after she finds him with Jess he wants her to forgive him and give him time to explain, he wouldn’t even give her the space she ask for.

This book really disappointed me for a minute is sound like they where two different Authors writing this book nothing like the first one. Hope that Hawk story won’t be disappointment either .

It’s very unusual that i will pick up the second book in a series and start it straight away but i couldn’t help it with the way Tame Me finished it was so good and i just had to know what happened.
I loved this story between Quill and Jasmine and this was no disappointment we pretty much picked up from where the first book left off and i loved the stubbornness from Jasmine and not wanting to see Quill.
Quill was as alpha and possessive as he has ever been and there was nothing stopping him to fight for Jasmine but of course it was going to be that simple.
Jasmine and Quill have a lot of battles to face in this book and it certainly doesn’t make fora boring story, you are hooked from the first page and i couldn’t stop reading with all the action and awesome storyline.
Loved this book really great MC Read.

My favorite Caveman

Jasmine is livid after catching Quill with a club whore. All pleading from him does not make a difference to Jasmine. She is leaving. Quill is not so quick to give up on Jasmine and after she leaves to go to her parents farm he is rushing right after her. After a much needed conversation Jasmine is willing to give Quill another chance. When mayhem breaks lose Quill has to protect the woman he loves.
What a great book. Quill is definitely my favorite character and so super sexy. When it comes to Jasmine he takes no chances and protects her with his life. "Tamed" is the follow up story of Quill and Jasmine and so good. I just love Quill with his caveman tendencies lol. The way Jasmine fights back with her wit is awesome and funny. Quill is the total alpha and makes this book. Awesome book!

The book kicks off where Quill has broken Jasmine’s heart by getting caught sleeping with another woman at the end of book one and damn, did that get me all riled up. He tries to give Jasmine space but ultimately decides enough is enough and fights to get Jasmine back.

I enjoyed this book much more than the first and loved that it had more action and grit to it. Although I love a good, steamy read, I did feel that at times it was just a bit too much. I also would have like to read more about the confrontation between the two clubs and Quill’s father (but I’m dark like that and realize it’s not everyone’s cup of tea).

Once again, this book is written from a dual pov and that is always a plus on my side. All in all, not quite 5 stars but certainly a good read.

I have found myself lately getting a little bored with some of the books I've read. In many cases the books don't hold my attention at all. Not in this case though. "Tamed" by J.A. Collard was the opposite. After finishing "Tame Me", I had to keep reading, I was so drawn into the story and what was happening to Jasmine and Quill. This book had it all. Characters you fall in love with, characters you hate and moments when you feel so angry you are tempted to throw something. I became emotionally involved in the story and this hasn't happened recently very often for me. I highly recommend this book.

I read this to see if the plot improved. It did not. Sex is not the cure for trashing your lover in a public tantrum. The hero sees the ex-husband touch her arm at a restaurant. He gets angry, blows up at her, and calls her a whore. Skanky OW from before sees H drinking away his sorrows, and when he rejects her, she drugs him. They have unprotected sex with him, thinking she's the h. Of course, h and the OW both end up pregnant.
Plot point: The Hero is the son of a rich hotelier. His dad's business is a front for prostitution, drugs, etc. His dad threatens his life and our h's. So Her kills his father offscreen.

You need to read Tame Me before you read this one! I fell more for the characters in this books. I totally loved most of them in book one and ended up deeper in this one. Quill is an Ass but I still loved him. He is Alpha and demanding and I loved every minute of him. Both characters go through hell in this book but come out stronger due to it.

J.A Collard has quickly became one of my favorite authors and I can't wait to read more from her. I look forward to reading Taming Hawke as soon as I can find the time. Thank you for another 5 star read!

Just as with book one, I felt this was only okay.i read book two because I bought a box set, but I doubt I’ll go on. Don’t get me wrong they are decent, but just not enough ‘guts’ to keep me interested. Plus just too darn lovey dovey for an MC or just in general for me. I love you, you’re my whole life, was about on every page. MC doesn’t mean loveless to me but I just expect more grit and chaos. The characters relationships and interactions were the gold in this, well written characters were the 3 Stars!

a happy conclusion

I am still undecided as to whether I really enjoyed this story or not. I enjoyed the storyline but Quill was just to bossy and domineering most of the time for me. I will say that Jasmine was slightly less of a doormat in this one than book one. I think it is just a me thing as the reviews I read were all really good, but I just did not quite enjoy the male mc’s high handiness at times. Still the conclusion was quite exciting and it was well written just not quite to my tastes

Book 2 of this series, and I really did enjoy this one. It was a faster paced book from the beginning and there was never a dull moment. Quill and Jasmine had many hurdles thrown in their way, some were huge and knocked them back, some not so huge but made us wonder what was going to come of them. Just when they got back on track they were knocked back several paces. As for Quills father...well he was an evil man. He got what he deserved. I look forward to seeing where this series goes next.

Did not finish

I must have read a different book from other reviewers. Stopped at 40% when everyone in the h life including the h are completely spineless and forgiving after a major betrayal. Zero attempt at redemption has been made by the H other than a verbal “my bad” and a road trip. I’m very confused by what would motivate the characters to reconcile. It must get better but I’ll never know.

I didn't think it was possible but I fell in love with all the characters even more in this book, well at the characters that deserved it anyways.
This book gripped me from the beginning and didn't let go. I'm hooked on this MC. I want to know more about the other guys.
This is a book 2 in a series and I recommend reading the 1st one before you read this one.

Loved it

I loved this book from start to end I didn't want to put it down to sleep.
There is a lot that happens in this book, some surprises as well.
Once again the book is full of emotions which you can feel throughout the story.
I would recommend these books to all you MC fans.

After reading the first book, I decided to give the series another try. I was so no happy with this one.. Done a lot of skipping and never missed a beat. I think this could be for YA if the sex was omitted. Very very boring.
This is not your typical motorcycle club romance. The H/h sound like teenagers. The only adults in this series are the "other" characters.
