Confusing

I was impressed at first with the information, but quickly became confused. The author gives lists of foods to be avoided, then includes them in list of foods that are highly anti-inflammatory, like nuts and coconut. Many of the recipes include things from the list of things to be avoided. The recipes are also vague as to amounts, ie using relative terms...tiny can of tuna. The directions read as though they were translated by a non-English speaking person with a thesaurus. Was this self published? Where was the proof reader? The sloppiness in the writing of the recipes invalidates the information given at the beginning. I will need to do more research on the AIP before using these recipes, although most are ok based on my prior research. On a positive note, my husband and I had some good chuckles trying to interpret some of the directions and kept us entertained on a long car ride on a dark rainy night.
