I expected this book to be a lot more in depth in what I was looking for. My expectations of this book was how individuals with disabilities such as ASD and others would be affected throughout the lifespan with the addition of neurotypical individuals - this book barely and only covered mainly those with Down Syndrome (DS). I was hoping to see through the thin veil of time in what to possibly expect of those with ASD and a genetic disorders, therefore disappointed with the amount I paid for this book.
I received this $80 textbook and it was in greyscale. Textbooks should be in color. It would seem that most of the copies out there are in greyscale.
The information was presented in a logical manner and was easy to follow. It didn't jump around topics. The only type of review questions were presented 3 or 4 at a time with a case study. I would have liked to see review questions at the ends of each chapter for this book.
I did retain what I needed to from this book but it would have been easier if it was in color.
