January 2, 2024I honestly don't think I was the primary demographic for this book, if I was born 40 years earlier maybe I would enjoy it more. The majority of the references were lost on me which, compared with the fact I was pretty uninterested in the plot for the majority of the novel, made it a fairly uninteresting read although I did enjoy the first chapters on his childhood.
