Abducted by aliens and bound for a breeding zoo.
I thought things couldn’t get any worse...

I was abducted by aliens.
Yep, you heard me right.
Aliens.
But they’re not little green men.
They’re gorgeous creatures called Titans.
Heaven help me.

Hard. Callous. Cruel.
That’s how the crew describe their captain.
After their attempted mutiny, he comes to me for aid.
Help him recover from their poison and he’ll return me to Earth.

There’s just one catch.

Healing requires the use of my body for one whole night.
If I give him what he needs, will he keep his word?
And will sleeping with him make me his fated mate for all time?

To fully grasp how ridiculous this story is, you have to keep in mind that the whole book is a week of time. So. Alice and her friends get abducted by alien slavers. 2 days after accidentally waking up and threatening the captain of mentioned slavers, who by this time have sold off her friends, she jumps in bed with him and promptly falls in love. Because he's hot. He is still a slaver who have no intentions of quitting, but that doesn't matter, because, as I said, he is hot. So why care who he is and what he have done and will do, right? As long as he is HOT! Well, there are some troubles, some fighting, some winning, some alien worlds and inhabitants, but our heroine will get home. Alone. In love. Bit sad, because she lost her friends. But overall good. All our HOT hero needs is a grand gesture, we get a skip over of few months and they can be together again. Isn't love beautiful?!

That said. I don't know how anyone can root for this couple or even individually. She is an air head who adds nothing to relationship and frankly is not friendly with logical or even any thinking. He is a slaver with no morals, but with a tiny blip of well hidden honour. Time frame of the whole book is idiotic. A week. WEEK! Nevermind. If I have not convinced you to pass this book over by now, you probably want to read this idiocy anyway, so who am I to rob you of pleasure of experiencing how NOT to write alien abduction romance.

On the plus side-it had a nice pace and I didn't spend a cent on it. It could have been worse.

I wanted to read an alien romance and this one seemed to fit the bill. Unlike the other book I started yesterday, it kept my interest from the first page. At 21% in I didn't want to quit. I had to make myself go to sleep. I wanted to know what was going to happen.

All in all, this was a pretty good book. The writing wasn't too bad and the story was quite interesting. At first I was a bit worried because the hero basically kidnaps human women to sell but there is a background to it and in the end he does the right thing.

I just had a few issues with the book:

✫ Some continuity errors. He told her his mom and dad were sold into slavery like him but he doesn't know what happened to his dad (we assume he died trying to protect them) and his mom died. He was there when she died.

✫ Where was my epilogue? I hate when stories just abruptly end.

✫ Perfect opportunity for her to fall pregnant and it didn't happen.

✫ Could've been better with a more fleshed out ending with a future epilogue.

✫ Give us something!

✫ Do I want to read two more books to find out what happens to her friends?

✫ Maybe.

An unusual approach, but exciting and entertaining.
Even if the beginning with the flashbacks was bumpy to read and required some patience and concentration, from about 35% it went on smoothly at a great pace, exciting, adventurous and entertaining. Alice is a crisp, unexpected character and goes through a great development that radiates into the dark corners of the soul of Nighteko. A real alien he became for me somehow as never, only space experienced as a smuggler.
For a first book not bad result, still something to work on the edges, but now already worth reading!

It was a pleasant surprise. The title does not do it justice. It was just a little bit steamy but wasn't explicit so that's fine. It was such a quick read though.

It was cute, I liked how she escaped and helped the captain. Quick to get physical and emotionally attached if you like that kinda thing.

Abducted, alone and afraid. Is one master any better than another? It is when you find your fated mate. I enjoyed reading this series. the is lots of action, pain, love, and emotions in this series but it is worth the read.

I found this story to be quite amusing as I read it. Laughter was definitely escaping my lips as I immersed myself into the story. A few times I found myself reading a passage here or there outloud to my mother and she was able to join in my laughter; both of us commenting how we love an author that can write with a sense of humor. I’d push her to read the book but Sci-Fi isn’t really her genre. The characters were amazing and their growth was noticeable throughout the book. The plot was great and had well thought out.

I give this five out of five stars. I enjoyed it greatly and was amused with the banter between the two main characters. The plot was well thought out and the characters grew throughout the story. Definitely will be reading this again, I look forward to reading the others in the series.

It’s a good story

The story is good. It’s just odd they way the author goes back and forth in time in the beginning chapters. It’s off putting and makes you want to stop reading. If you get past the first 35 percent, the story takes off and becomes more dynamic. The lead male is interesting and his crew is plotting against him. The female lead just wants to be returned to earth. Some of the action scenes are more based in fantasy than reality, of the story world, because there are way too many enemies and dangers for the two leads to have a happy ending, but don’t worry, the do get it.

This well-written book 1 in The Fated Mates of the Titan Empire Book Series is an interesting Alien romance with amazing characters. This book builds a great world and follow the lives of a well-fleshed world and characters that have depth. This story is action-packed and also has twists, turns, suspense, chemistry, and love. I will be reading more of this Series.

Unnecessarily messed up timeline

I was really enjoying the story, but the author unnecessarily jumps back and forth in the timeline. I understand what she's trying to do but the effect is to stop the story from moving forward. I had to quit about halfway through the book because I was tired of unnecessary time jumps. I would have given the parts that I read four stars if the story had been a contiguous timeline.

This book was a little confusing to begin with - it jumped around quite a bit but it made sense once you get through the first part. Tbh, could do with some rearranging at the start.

The relationship also felt a bit rushed, it didn’t feel like there was any connecting going on when the relationship began - felt a bit odd

Despite that, I liked the storyline and I’m glad there were non-generic parts (you’ll see what I mean if you read it) and I’m looking forward to reading the next book

Amazing story. Alice comes to Party Central with her friends to celebrate one of them getting married. But on the way back they are kidnapped by aliens. Nighteko was the captain of his ship but his crew was poisoning him to take over. An unexpected system failure lets Alice escape her cell and she tells Nighteko that she heard two of his crew talking about challenging him and being weak from the poison they would be able to defeat him. But Alice tells him that she would help him get strong and when the challenge is called he defeats the first one but then he has to save Alice as the people he thought could save him are none other than the Changeling who attacked his village when he was small. So he takes Alice and they leave the ship and when they reach Tordal and get to the city, Nighteko goes to the fighting pits to win some money so he could buy a ship and try to defeat his crew. After getting his ship back he takes Alice to the last place he saw her friends but it wasnt anywhere they could find her friends. So angry Alice tells him to take her back to Earth. Will Alice forgive him for kidnapping and selling her friends? Will they be able to stay together? Loved reading their story. Thanx.

A book with action love betrayal and lots and lots of space travel....She ( Alice) is the woman who steels his heart. She is out with her friends partying to say goodbye to their soon become wife- friend Hazel when they are abducted...By luck she wakes up in her pod in a spacecraft full of smugglers and her adventure begins.

He (Nighteko) is the captain of the smugglers that had abducted Alice and the one who will fall madly in love with her. By some twist of events Alice overhears his crew that they have poisoned him In order to weakened him, so they can challenge him as a captain and he makes a dal with her to help him heal in exchange her freedom. The story is pretty good with a lot of action and twists and for an alien book it is really low in steam, not graphic at all, not pages on pages smexy action( not that I am against it, I love my books steamy and hot as lava)... This is the first book of the series and sets up the starting point. So if ou want to meet the Titans and their women then start with this book....

I had to give up about 60% through, I was tempted to finish it nit because I was enjoying it mind you, but I'd already read over half and my OCD brain wanted to complete it 😅 unfortunately it wasn't worth the literally headache that was forming trying to keep track of the inexplicable plot.
There was no consistency, characters often contradicting themselves on the same page, sometimes even the same paragraph. It did genuinely give me a headache trying to make sense of it all.
A minor spoiler here as an example,
- they are discussing funerals and the concept of human funerals and graves that MC doesn't understand as they don't bury their dead. In the next paragraph he tells FMC of a grieving ritual type thing that his people do around the deceased GRAVE.
I wouldn't mind one or two inconsistencies like this as no one is perfect and sometimes an author needs to take some liberties to help their story along, but this happened almost on almost every page.
The writing was pretty good in terms of describing a scene hence the 2 star review instead of a 1 but I won't be touching this author again.

This story was ummm...

A solid 3.5 stars. Not nearly as good as the prison alien series by the same author. I struggled a bit with the first half of this book. There were unexpectedly more editing issues than I was used to from this author. I assume this series was in her early writing stages. I had a bit of a hard time connecting with either of the main characters. The concept of the story was good, however it paced a bit slow in the first half of the book then picked up after that and turned out OK in the end. It had some feels, but some of the interactions throughout the story were a tad bland. The mate bond sounded more like a way to get her into bed than the all consuming fierceness it seemed to take on in other stories. The alien wasn't quite the alpha I was expecting. Her other alien prison series ruined me. This book wasn't horrible by a long shot, just not as exciting as I had hoped. I didn't get upset every time I had to put it down. You should still give it a read if you are into alien Sci fi romance.

This isn’t great. It’s a bit dull at times, the storyline seems weird, and the romance was severely lacking.
There were just a lot of areas that didn’t mesh well into the story or weren’t explained at all.

How did Alice find out about the whole poisoning/challenge thing? Why would sex make a Titan stronger? How did Nighteko just fall in love with her so fast? Why would Alice be all, oh it makes you stronger, ok let’s have sex, so easily? I seriously didn’t feel any chemistry between these two characters, the writing was so bad concerning the romance aspect.

And the minor characters were all pretty crappy, her friends, his crew. Alice was only concerned about her friends in the beginning and then when Nighteko admitted he didn’t know where they were. Otherwise it was more about her “going home.”

I definitely won’t be continuing the series. The only reason I finished this book was because I hate not finishing if I can help it. And I had some off hope that it would get better. It didn’t.

Well written action-packed alien romance with action, drama, suspense, intense chemistry and one crazy honey trap. Alice and her friends are kidnapped and sold off to new space masters, Alice is the last to be delivered. When a mishap, frees her accidently from her sleeping pod, she discovers a plot to overthrow the captain of the ship Nighteko. When she comes face to face with Nighteko, she bargains with him to set her free, take her to her friends and then home in exchange for saving his life. What pursue is a whirlwind of betrayals, daring escapes, monster fighting and more while the two embark on a intriguing, dangerous and action packed journey. As Alice and Nighteko spend more time together they start develop feelings for each other and after a betrayal by Nighteko and Alice being recaptured, the book does finally have a HEA. I loved the book. Great read

One night Alice and five of her closest friends travel to a party town in celebration of their friend's upcoming wedding (bachelorette party) and find themselves being abducted by a UFO/Aliens so they can be sold as slaves to various owners in a world they didn't know existed. Nighteko - the alien smuggling them - gets more than he bargained for when he is forced to trust Alice over his mutinous crew who has been poisoning him in an attempt to challenge his leadership. All in all, this was an average read for me. What could have prompted this to stand out a little more was, and I'm just being honest, the inclusion of more smut. I went into this thinking it was going to be a dirtier read than it was and I think that threw me off a little. The writing, itself, was okay. It just wasn't what I thought it was going to be and, honestly, it veered on the boring side from time to time. However, I have the rest of the series so I'm going to see how those pan out!

Still on my Alien Romance bimge, but this was the worst yet sadly.
There was weird time jumps, and flashbacks to something that happened only moments before. There was no reason it couldn't have just been in chronological order with no flashbacks/time jumps.
It was slow to start in comparison to the other books I've read of this genre in the past few days, with no abduction happening until 12-15% mark.
The deal between Alice and Nighteko was founded on information that you were never told how she got ahold of and makes no sense.
Because most of their time was spent on ships and not planets there was very little world building or explaination of the species.
In general the writing wasn't bad, it just missed a lot of the details this genre needs.
The romance was sweet, even if it was quite sudden and unfounded at the start, they improved as the story progressed.
Overall, not great and I wouldn't recommend in comparison to the other Sci-fi romances I have read this week.

It was ok, but not as good as some other sci-fi smut that's out there (i.e., Ice Planet Barbarians or author Jaid Black). There are no fated mates, no clear plot, really. It has a lot of threads of where it can go, but it never quite goes all the way, and it doesn't end very well at all. There is no real satisfying conclusion. The two main characters, Alice and Nighteko, are not fated mates, but they fall very fast, and with no real character development, it is hard to see why they do. I like insta love and fated mates, etc, but this was not done well at all, especially for the page count. It's not a bad page count for there to be no real plot or character development. I bought (for like .99 cents on sale) the 5 book collection, and I do t think I will be reading the rest. Also, there is no real smut. It's not really described, and in some cases, it's closed door, so I don't really know the reason for this to exist.

Alice and her friends are celebrating the upcoming wedding of Hazel. As they are celebrating she sees a hunk of a guy walk in. Hazel challenges her to go to him and at least get his phone number. But when a disturbance occurs he disappears. On their way home they are taken by aliens. Alice wakes up on the ship and when she almost leaves she remembers she needs to save her friends. She meets Maisie another human who had been taken many years ago. Then she meets the man she met the night of the partying..Nighteko. He is a Titan and has an honorable heart. But his crew are ticked off at him because he won't go into child kidnapping. So he and Alice need to escape. Now they need to survive to retake his ship. Will they come to understand what they mean to each other? Will they succeed?
Fantastic story!!!.

"Getting chased over the edge of a cliff by a UFO is easily the most interesting thing..."

"Getting chased over the edge of a cliff by a UFO is easily the most interesting thing to have ever happened to me."

Alice's girls weekend, ahead of her bffs wedding takes an unexpected turn when they are abducted by aliens.

Nighteko isn't living the life of his dreams, but it takes a human woman with determination, strong convictions, and remarkable character to challenge him to step up his game and turn his life in to what he lives... and not just continue trying to take baby steps towards his goals. He discovers a reason to take risks he never would have before.

I loved how the characters in this Kindle unlimited book found not only a different perspective from which to view their own lives, but compelling ways in which to get others to stop and view a situation. They balanced their attitudes of realism with honor.

New author for me and I was very pleased when I put this book on my read shelf! Miss Walsh has a knack that draws in her readers and keeps them absorbed in her story! This was very good and clean story that she kept me enthralled with her characters and world building with it being very visual and enticing. It had mystery and drama and very steamy romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat with just enough contrivance to envelop the reader. You will fall in love with her characters and by the end you will be cramming for more from this author. Tammy did a wonderful job at expressing her world and creating a universe that the reader will want to come back to many times over. Good job to this author she really has done a remarkable job with this story!

This was an enjoyable book and I loved how Alice and Nighteko both learned lessons they both need to grow. Nighteko is a smuggler and a slaver that wants to sell off these females and finally get out of the businesss but he forgets that he was once a slave that had no future but he has no problem doing to others. Alice is a human female that was kidnapped from Earth along with her friends that where at a bachelorette party and will now be sold off to the highest bidder but she feels drawn to Nighteko but doesn’t understand why but maybe it will help them all if she can get close to him. The little human female temps me like no other has before and he finds himself seeking her out and wanting to be with her and now he doesn’t know if he can give her up now or ever.

I didn't enjoy this as much as some other Tammy Walsh books, but I didn't realize until the end note that it was her first scifi romance. For that reason, I gave it 4 stars instead of 3.

I felt the characters had promise, but their feelings toward each other weren't built with any depth. Also, there were problems with the timeline. Alice was supposed to have been in stasis for 3 weeks, and the story proceeded at least 3 more days after she awakened, but when she returned to Earth she'd only been gone 3 days. Finally, secondary character Maisie was treated as older, even almost elderly, but she'd only been on the ship 13 years and was implied to have been young and attractive when taken from Earth.

Should've read the reviews before reading this book🙄
This book was a hot mess. There were times the MMC was having a nightmare but u couldn't tell right away. Other authors change the font when they do flashbacks..I recommend that to this author. Anyways, the FMC was an idiot. She fell in love with her kidnapper after the fact of him selling her friends! And showed no signs of changing. He would continue to smuggle slaves just because he was once one. He got caught after turning in his employers do he served 3 MONTHS in prison. He found her afterwards and lived happily ever after. Since she no longer cared about her friends after forgiving him after he snitched on his employers, o don't care to read their books to see what happened to them. She was a horrible friend!
